Chapter 80: Chapter 80 - Playing Weeee with Deee

"But they died in an aeroplane crash", I can’t help but ask him. Garry nodded at this and continued.

"Before the plane crash, their pack had already been attacked thrice in one and a half months. Alpha was very concerned about those attacks, and he asked for help from the council" he stopped and looked at Ryan. "They planned to go to the council, and we are assuming that they were to reveal that Luna’s wolf is not grey, but a pure breed white wolf, but Diego got sick at the last moment. They both wanted to delay their meeting, but it was hard to set up another meeting before a month. So, they left Diego under the care of their beta couple, but their aeroplane crashed when they were on their way to the council". He took a deep breath, and tiredness took over him. "The most suspicious thing is the attacks stopped after their death," no one said anything, and truth be said, I am also at a loss of words... {Can this truth land Dee in trouble?}

We all were alarmed when we heard the sound of the opening of the door. In two strides, Ben also came and took a seat at the table.

"What are you guys doing here?" We heard elder Drew’s voice, and all the others entered behind him in the kitchen. Ethan was also here, so I shifted the conversation toward him.

"Why did you call him?" I asked Ryan.

"They wanted to know about the attacks on the blue moon pack. They are still in doubt about whether to accept you or not," he explained, and I nodded.

"Is that Shira?" We all heard a very surprised voice from elder Theodore, who came toward gramma and looked at her with a smile. I knew that the matters were going to escalate very quickly, so I got up from my place... {Let them enjoy their get-together. I also want to meet my Dee.}

"Alright, you can continue. I have some work to take care of." I went to Ryan’s room. No matter how much I wanted to take more chocolates, I couldn’t. So, like a good girl, I took three chocolates and went downstairs, where Ryan was already waiting for me. "What happened?" I asked him, and he took a deep breath.

"You are not tense about elders, are you?" he asked me, and I shook my head while smiling at him.

"I am not even listening to half of the shit they are talking about" he smiled at that. "Now, I am going. Bubye"

"How are you going there? You can’t drive in this condition," he stopped me in between.

"I will use my secret power" a cute frown appeared on his forehead. "I will use my feet", I whispered, and he rolled his eyes.

"Very funny," he said, but he was still unable to hide his smile.

"I know, right" he again rolled his eyes, but the smile that appeared on his face was worth all the pj’s.

"Fine, take care, and no more injury is acceptable on your body now. So, don’t get in stupid situations" I rolled my eyes at this.

"It’s not my mistake that all the stupid..." I pointed towards him and then at my arm "people are eager to give me these stupid injuries", he huffed and looked at me.

"You are going to tease me for the rest of our life, are you not?" He asked me, and I went towards him to pinch his cheeks, but he was too tall for it. So, I stomped on his feet, and when he bent a little, I pulled his cheek. "What is that for?" he narrowed his eyes at me while I was still pinching his cheek.

"Yes, I am going to tease you for it for your whole life..., and it’s your mistake that you are so tall" I patted his head. "Now I am going, bye" I ruffled his hair and finally went towards Dee’s hostel.

Though I have seen it for more than half of my life still, these ranks in the werewolf world amuse me every time. I didn’t even need to clarify anything when I reached there. The security there automatically let me enter the school and the hostel, and not only this, but they also greeted me... {things changed pretty fast for me}. When I approached the receptionist, she stood up from her chair and greeted me properly.

"Hello, Luna. How can I help you?".. {This feels very weird}

"I wanted to meet Diego. I think he will be back from school by now," I told her with a smile.

"Sorry, Luna, but the kids are not back from school yet. They have their monthly sports day today, so we expect them to arrive at the hostel in three or four hours" this piece of information surprised me... {Why did Dee not mind-linked me about it?}

"Are parents and guardians allowed on these monthly sports days?" I asked her again.

"Yes, Luna, but normally only those guardians and parents who live in the crescent moon pack come to these monthly sports events. Others only come once in the annual event," she informed me, and I couldn’t help but curse under my breath.

"Thank you" I ran out of the hostel building and ran towards the school building, where again, I didn’t have to face any kind of restriction from anyone. Instead, the receptionist easily told me the direction, and I hastily ran towards the stadium where all the matches were being held. I didn’t take much time to spot Dee as his scent was not hard to ignore for me. He was in a ring with another kid. I went near the ring, and that’s when the opponent kicked Dee, and he fell on the butt... {uh... uhh}

I am highly expecting that he is going to cry now as he is looking pretty hurt.. not as physically hurt but more like emotionally hurt. His lower lip is trembling, and tears can fall from his eyes at any time now. I can see that he is trying hard not to cry... {I needed to hug him right now}. He got up from his position, and I couldn’t help but feel proud of him.

"Common dee, you can do it" I cheered for him and instantly, he turned towards me. As soon as he looked at me, the tears that were in his eyes rolled down his cheeks, and finally, he gave up. He ran towards me, and I sat on the floor. He directly came to me and started crying while hugging me tightly.

"It’s alright, love, everything’s fine", I cooed to him, but it didn’t work as he circled his legs around me, and now he was full-fledged crying. "You can cry, love. It’s alright; I am here" I patted his back softly. I can spot Reed a few meters away from us. So, I stood up while supporting Dee with my one uninjured arm and went towards Reed.

"Can I take him out for a few hours, Reed?" I asked him, and though he was looking reluctant, he finally agreed. I thanked him and started walking toward the hostel.

"Why didn’t you come to sports day? I have been mind-linking both of you for a few days, but none of you replied to me," Dee said and again started crying. "I thought that you were not going to come to meet me now" his hold got tighter on me. His statement made me worry about him because I have not got even a single mind link from him. I went inside the hostel, and after that, he guided me to his new room.

After reaching there, I went towards the bed and tried to make him sit, but he didn’t let me go "noooo", he whined.

"But you need to change clothes", I tried to make him understand.

"No, I am not changing. I don’t want to live here. I will stay with you," he said and sobbed more. I took a deep breath and caressed his hair softly.

"Fine, let’s pack your bag" as soon as I said this, he automatically loosened his hold around my neck and looked at me with his puffy eyes. His whole face is tear-stained, and his nose is also runny. I smiled at him and kissed his forehead, then I took my handkerchief from my pocket and wiped his nose and face. He let me go and went towards the door to lock it from inside, then he went towards the window and closed it too. After it, he sat on his bed facing toward the wall, and now I am facing his back... {well, that’s new. He even closed all the exits first... smart}

"I am mad at you, and I will stay here", he mumbled, and I couldn’t help but go all awwww on his cuteness.

"Sorry, love, but I seriously didn’t get any mind link from you, or I would surely have come" I went towards him and hugged him back. "Can you forgive me, Please?" I told him softly, and he again started sobbing lightly.

"I thought that you forgot about me" I know he is still hurt, but he is now leaning on me and sobbing. "I practised for many days so that you would see me winning, but you didn’t even come to see my match" he turned towards me and again encircled his tiny hands around my neck. "I have been searching for you since morning" I can’t help but feel bad right now.

For the last few days, I have been so busy with the problems and mysteries of my life that I forgot that Dee is still a kid. No matter how much I love him as a kid, he needed assurance from time to time that he was not alone, that I was there for him, and that I would love him in every situation.

"I am sorry, dee", I whispered, and that’s when he again let me go. He wiped my tears softly with his tiny hands.

"Why are you crying?" he asked me while his tears were still flowing.

"Because I don’t like it when you cry," I told him and wiped his tears.

"Ok, I am not crying now. Please don’t cry, addy"... {god, why is so pure and innocent}... I smiled at him and took out chocolates from my pocket, which instantly made him smile. "You are the best" he kissed my cheek and took all three from me. I know that I should have stopped him from eating so many chocolates, but I can’t say no to anything right now. He unwrapped his chocolate and took a bite from it. "You again fought with bad guys?" he asked me while extending the chocolate towards me. I smiled and took a bite from it, and nodded.

"Yes, this time it was a very bad guy" he is looking normal now.

"You won this time, too, right?" I nodded, which made him very happy, but suddenly the happiness faded from his face, "but I lost," I smiled at him.

"I also lost many times. Do you know when I started to learn to fight, I always lost to others, but I practised a lot and became stronger? So, you should practice a lot and don’t be afraid of losing. One day you will also win" he looked at me in awe.

"Yes, I will come in a minute. Take care of these" he gave his chocolates to me, ran towards his cupboard, and started changing his clothes.

"Shall I invite Ryan too?" I asked him, and he stopped changing his clothes... {Does he not like him anymore?}... He came toward me with serious expressions, which were very amusing for me. He is just wearing his pants with no upper, and in addition to it, his seriousness is not suitable for his tear-stained face and a bit of a runny nose.

"Do I need to tell him about my sports day?" he asked me, and now I understand what he is hesitant about.

"No, there is no need if you don’t want to", he took a dramatic deep breath and smiled "fine then, he can come with us" with it, he went towards the cupboard and took a T-shirt from it...

"Please, Ryann", I whined and gave him my best puppy dog eyes while pouting, "Please, alpha", while Dee did the same from another side.

He huffed in defeat, and I jumped excitedly. "It is a yes, right."

"I don’t even know why I am agreeing to all this" both Dee and I hugged either side of him while. He was also not able to stop himself from smiling anymore.

Yes, because truth to be said, it is a little unnerving always to be treated like an almightly}... So, I thought that Dee would like to sit in the shopping cart, although he is not a little kid, but still and... I remembered my legendary game of... ’weeeeeeee’.

Remember that ’weeeee’ when I made Ryan fall from his office chair? It’s the same wee with the shopping cart, but obviously, we can’t hurt people, and that’s when we needed Ryan’s strength. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, we are using the strength of the great alpha king to help us play ’weeeee’.

Thankfully there is a very little crowd in this grocery store, or we would have never been able to play our ’weeeee’. We completed almost ten rounds at the fast speed of a single row when finally we got scolded by the grocery store employees and returned in the car with a very grumpy-looking Ryan and no snack.

"No one should know about today’s incident in the pack," he said to us in embarrassment, and that’s when I gave up and laughed out loud, and Dee joined me in a while. "That was not funny ok" I nodded but was unable to stop myself from picturing a giant Ryan getting scolded by a tiny old lady.

"Yes, because That was very fu..." I stopped mid-sentence when he came extremely close to me. Suddenly all the other feelings vanished, and the only thing that I could feel was the warmth from his body that was insanely close to mine... {and still, his body was not touching mine}... My breath automatically became ragged, and I could see a smirk appearing on his face.

"Not funny now?" he asked me, but I was not even able to make sentences. "Fine, let’s try a giggle" his smirk is growing wider and wider, and I am sure that I must be looking very nervous right now "or maybe if we are already close", his gaze directly turned towards my lips, and my heart started beating like mad. He leaned toward me. I closed my eyes and waited for... I-don’t-know-what. Suddenly I heard a click which startled me. I opened my eyes and found Ryan sitting on his seat while trying to stop himself from laughing, and I was wearing the seat belt now.

I glared at him and looked at Dee, who was playing with a stuffed wolf that we had bought from him earlier. "That was not funny," I said to Ryan grumpily, and he nodded with a smile while fastening his seat belt.

"Yeah, it was not," he said but was still laughing. I looked outside and tried to calm my heartbeats... {Did I want him to kiss me a while ago?}

We went to Dee’s hostel first, and after dropping him there, we came to the house.

"Did they leave?" I asked him when we got out of the car.

"No, but they are not going to live in our house. Ellon did the arrangement for them in the guest house" I nodded, and we went towards the home. We were about to unlock the door when Ben opened the door, and he was looking alarmed.

"What happened, dad?" Ryan asked him, and gramma also came behind him.

"Reed", Ben said, and we were not able to understand anything. "Reed is the one who is helping rogues in hunting white wolves.’’

My legs gave up on his statement, and I grabbed Ryan’s arm for support.. {how,... I just left... Dee ..} I looked at him, and he was also looking scared.

"Ryan, Dee. Reed knows that Dee is a white wolf," I whispered.
