Chapter 50: Chapter 50 - Confession

I opened my eyes, but everything was blurry. I can hear familiar voices, but the one thing that I can feel most after pain and sadness is the warm and tingly touch that is covering both my hands.

"She is going to make me insane for sure" I can hear Layla’s voice "no, I am already insane."

"Will you shut up, Layla? Can you please help me wake her up rather than just doing your drama." that was Matt’s voice, and he was seriously pissed off... {what did Layla do to make him so mad now?}

"Who can sleep when you stupids keep barking at each other like rabid dogs?" I mumbled and wiped the tears to see clearly... {I don’t want to leave that warm thing... but these stupid tears... aaahhh}... "Now tell me why you disturbed my beauty sleep?" I am glad that it woke me up from that nightmare.

"You call that a beauty sleep", Layla snickered. "You have been screaming for almost fifteen minutes" I rolled my eyes, and that’s when I was finally able to spot everyone. Matt, Mia, Layla, Ellon, and a new person are standing near my bed, and all their focus is on me.

"Can I ask you what you guys are doing in my room in the early morning?" I asked them all and cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh, we will surely play the question answer round for sure and very soon, but firstly get off from that bed"... {Why is Matt behaving so rudely with me?}

"Did I do something?" I asked everyone and observed their expressions closely. Ellon has neutral expressions, while Mia and Layla are looking a little tense, and that new guy and gramma have constant smirks plastered on their faces. Matt glared at me at the question, so I zipped my mouth, but as soon as I got up, that warm thing pulled me to the bed, and I again landed on my warm and hard yet soft bed. "It seems like my bed also thinks that I should sleep for some more time," I said and snuggled more, but that stranger started to laugh loudly, and I looked at him in confusion.

"Sorry, but I can’t hold back now" he is now clutching his stomach. "Finally, I caught this bastard" he is still laughing loudly.

"Piss off, jack", I heard Ryan’s voice from my pillow, and I looked at others in horror. Layla, Matt, and Mia are looking scared, while Ellon is also tense... {damn}

I stood with a jerk and found Ryan lying on my bed in a sleepy state. I gasped and shifted backwards. I was about to fall to the floor when Ryan got up and pulled me towards him, and I crashed on his hard chest.

"Can’t you be a little careful?" He scolded me, and now he is fully awake... {What the fuck I was supposed to do in this situation then, you stupid?}

"What are you doing in my bed?" I shouted at him.

"It is all your fault. If you have not broken the rule, I didn’t have to keep an eye on you," he also said in the same tone as mine.

"You already knew that I would break the rule when you stopped me from meeting dee’’ I shouted back.

"So now you are blaming me for making rules," he asked me in astonishment, and I couldn’t help but become more and more irritated. Suddenly the image of little Ryan flashed in front of my eyes, and I still remember my nightmare clearly.

"Sorry", I mumbled a timid sorry and went to the washroom without saying anything else.

Ryan’s POV -

She didn’t say anything? .. {I am also wondering the same, how can this happen? No taunts, no shouting} ... I looked at others in confusion, and that’s when I understood the situation. Jack was constantly laughing like an idiot.

"Can’t you shut your mouth?" I stood from the bed with fake anger.

"Don’t act in front of me. When are you going to tell me about your mate, huh?" he asked me and slumped on the bed.

"Shut up, jack, let’s go in my room first" I stood and walked towards the door. I am trying to get away from this awkward situation when her grandma came in front of me with an excited expression... {stop her from sayi--...}

"Am I going to be great, gramma, soon?" ... {I told you to shut her up... this lady is surely dangerous}. I looked towards the bathroom door, which was still closed... {fuck, she is not here to save me.}

"Can’t you just not shout and make assumptions in your mind?" I told her irritatingly and took the water bottle that was on the table to avoid her.

"Shit, you used protection. Kids these days... " I was drinking water when she said that, so I don’t think I need to explain what my reaction was, but still, a good thing happened. Jack was standing in front of me, and I spit all the water on his face while coughing. "We used to plan kids within one year of finding our mates", she continued blabbering while Jack glared at me.

"Way to show your love, ry" he wiped his face using his hand "you are not getting away from this" he took the other bottle and tried to throw water on me ... {why did she have so many water bottles in her room? }... but I dodged, and all the water poured on gramma’s face. Everyone gasped, but I was busy running while Jack was chasing me and was still trying to throw water at me. I stood on the bed and provoked him to throw the remaining water, but when I again dodged it, he lunged at me. We both fell onto the bed with a thud, and we heard a loud crackling sound. I groaned in pain as Jack’s whole weight fell on me.

"What the hell?’’ Both of us turned our heads towards the voice and found Aadhya standing there. She is wearing a shirt which is extremely large on her and trousers, her wet hair is down, while a few strands of her hair are touching her collar bones... {Our mate is surely a goddess}

"Your mate is cute," Jack said while looking at her, and this pissed me off.

"Hey, you two love birds, are you planning to show us the whole porn film here?" She shouted at both of us, and for a few seconds, I didn’t understand why she was saying this, but then I looked at Jack and noticed our inconvenient position. He is lying on me while we both are in the middle of the now broken bed... {get up fast, or how will you show your face to our beautiful mate?} ... "You seriously broke the bed" ... {she is pissed}

"Get up, jack", I shouted at him, but instead of getting up, that bastard hugged me tightly and pressed his face in my chest.

"Who is she, darling? and why is she coming between us?" I tried to push that bastard and looked at Aadhya in panic.

"Aadhya, he is jack. He is our delta, and don’t listen to him. He is insane... go away, you asshole. Leave me, Aadhya; listen, I can explain" now I am in full panic mode. She has not accepted me till now. I don’t want her to think I am interested in anyone except her.

Suddenly a smile came on her face, and she rubbed her hair "take your time but get up. You guys didn’t look good together... especially in this position", she said and walked into her closet.

"Get up, jack," I told him, and he finally raised his head from my chest, and his eyes had a mischievous glint.

"Did I make her mad?" he asked me and got up.

"Thankfully not"

"Shit", he cursed, "but I will surely make it clear to her that you are mine" he again came to hug me, but I hid behind Ellon.

"Hi Ellon," he said hi to him and gave him that bro hug... {I still don’t know why Jake’s human is so obsessed with you}

"You are her mate" suddenly, Matt came in front of me... {is it a question?}

"What are you all doing here? Do we not have any work?" I thought that this would work. While Layla became a little tense on this, others had blank expressions. Especially Matt. He is not even blinking.

"So, you are her mate", he clenched his jaw and went towards the closet and knocked on the door hard "come out, Aadhya", he shouted, and Aadhya was in front of him in seconds. She is looking panicked.

"What happened, matt?" she asked him worriedly, but no one said anything about this while Layla also went towards her and narrowed her eyes at her.

Aadhya’s POV -

"I am giving up on her, Matt. I have nothing to do with her now," she said angrily, and I looked to others for some help. She turned to leave the room, but I hugged her from behind.

"Don’t act like this, Layla. At Least tell me what I have done." I was trying to make her say anything when Matt removed my arms from her harshly.

"Don’t say we are friends if you do not consider us as one. We have not interfered in your life and decisions till now, and we will not interfere in the future, but at least don’t make us think that we are nothing in your life... especially when we consider you as our family," matt’s voice was so low that no one could have heard him if we didn’t have werewolf hearing.

"You also know that’s not true, Matt, and I didn’t need to say or do something to prove that to you" Why is he saying such things when he knew those were the things that hurt me the most?

"Then why didn’t we know that he is your mate" this time, Layla shouted at me and pointed at Ryan... {so that is the matter. I already knew this day would surely come... fuck, I am not expecting this to happen so soon}.

"What do you want me to say, guys? That out of nowhere, I got another mate and that also no normal werewolf but the alpha king himself. I was not even able to convince myself of this till now, and you want me to say this to you." I asked them, and Layla opened her mouth to say something, but I continued before she countered me. "I also learned about this when I had exited the blue moon pack and was about to shift at the crescent moon. I am not a normal being with a normal scent or touch or whatever you guys have. I also don’t know the reason for it, and for your information, let me clarify it for you. None of us had accepted each other until now" when I said this, Matt was unable to shut his mouth.

"Then what is he doing in your room" Ryan growled at Matt’s question, and I glared at him hard. He instantly tried to hide it and coughed and gestured Jack to follow him outside the room {stupid alpha king}

"No need to go anywhere. I am not the only person to blame in this situation. You are their alpha, a friend can be reckless, but an alpha can’t be reckless with his beta, gamma, and delta couples," I scolded him, and he sat on the broken bed like a kid who got scolded by his mom.

"Although our bond and other things are not normal like you guys have with your mates, there is one thing that is similar to others. Our touch calms each other down. Last night I went to meet Dee without his permission. When I came back, I found him in my room" everyone is silent and listening to me carefully "his touch helps me in sleeping peacefully, and comparatively to before, the frequency of my nightmares is very low."

"Oh, come on, you guys are adults, mates, and what do you need more to have some fun with each other... ’His touch helps me to sleep peacefully’... gramma mimicked me very badly. "What should I do to make you understand that mates do a lot of things other than touching each other, you fool?... chhh... I am going from here. You guys are just living a boring life," she said disappointedly and went away from the room... {thank God}

"Guys, ignore her. She will only be happy when she gets her great-grandchild in her arms". Ryan turned his head in my direction so fast that I was afraid he would get a whiplash, "but I have no plans to fulfil her wish in the near future. Many things have changed in my life in the last three and a half months... and I need time to digest all that and search for answers to many questions. Do you seriously think I will accept any person, no matter the alpha king or the moon god himself... ’if that is even possible... is my mate. I can’t drag anyone in my chaotic life."

"But I have already told you that I like you, and I don’t have any issues with anything", Ryan countered me, and I couldn’t help but roll my eyes.

"It’s not about you, Ryan. What do you think? Did I not like you? Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror? You are the epitome of perfection, and I am not talking about physical appearance only, except being rude with people; there is nothing that I found bad about you. When you hurt me while performing your alpha duties, you treat me with chocolates later, even when it was my fault."

"I know that you have sneaked to the hospital to be with me every night after your night patrol because you were worried that if you do not hold my hand, I may have nightmares." he was stunned by my confession... {Did he seriously can’t see how much I like him?}... "Sorry to inform you, Ryan, but if you think that I am not accepting you because there is something wrong with you, then you surely are dumb. And even if you have some limitations, mate bond will never let me see those. You will always be the man I would want in my life unless we reject each other" every person present in the room growled at me as if I had killed someone. All of their eyes are flickering between theirs and their wolves.

"I am sick of your wolves taking control of you. All of you, give the control back to your humans or... or I don’t know what will I do" I shouted in anger, and everyone complied except the king "damn king, I swear I will not talk to you anymore, give control to Ryan now" with it Ryan’s eyes also became normal.

"Wow, you can command us all", Jack said, and this time it didn’t shock me. It just bothered me.

"See, here the problem lies. My life has become a mystery story that is not going to be solved soon. Sometimes I can command people; sometimes, I can’t. I can’t even know if I commanded someone or not. I want to sort all these things before thinking about big things like MATE," I said in the last sentence while looking at Ryan. "I am sorry, Ryan, but that’s what I am" he took a deep breath, and a smile adorned his face.

"It’s alright, Aadhya. No matter what will happen in the future. Acceptation, Rejection, or anything else. I respect you and your decisions. I am not only your mate but also the alpha and a friend. I am happy with the things that we have between us. Whether it is bribing you with chocolates or not stopping you from breaking the rules when I knew what you were doing." he said it with so much pureness that I wanted to accept him right then... {don’t be an emotional fool}

Before anyone can say anything, Ryan’s eyes become blurry, and after a minute, he and Jack are jumping in happiness.

"What happened?" I asked, and Ryan was looking so happy that it was becoming hard for him minute by minute to contain his happiness... {Why are they suddenly acting like kids?}

"Dad is coming back. He just entered the pack borders. He will be at home any time now" as soon as he finished his sentence, we heard the doorbell.

"This time, I am going to be the first ’’ Jack said and ran towards the door while Ryan grabbed his foot, and Jack landed hard on the floor. We heard a bone-cracking sound and Jack’s painful groan. I gasped, but Ryan laughed and ran towards the door. "I am not going to let you win this time" Jack took the bottle from the ground and rolled it on the floor.

"Careful, Ryan" I was late in saying this. I closed my eyes in horror and heard the same loud thud and cracking sound of bone... {these stupids broke their noses}

I expected them to stop now, but they were tripping and fighting with each other to stop each other from reaching the door. I looked at others, but none of them looked bothered by that... {Am I the only one who is concerned about these idiots?}

When they finally reached the door, both of them were bruised and bleeding, especially their faces... and let me tell you; Jack did win this time. As soon as the door opened, a very familiar figure was standing there.
