"Oh, shut up, Reed. You cry for hairs more than Ryan cried in his entire childhood," she told him, and she also put her weapons with other weapons. "Why are you grumpy today? Did our beta jenny kick your ass in the morning?" on this reed slumped his shoulders and took a deep tired breath.

"I can’t take it anymore, Chandra. Her cravings and mood are becoming hard day by day. She told me that she wanted to eat deer meat yesterday. So, being a good mate, I went into the woods and hunted a deer for her and cooked it the specific way that she liked. Still, when I served it to her, she started crying and even kicked me out of the room by saying that I killed a deer; what if his mom was looking for him in the woods? Then... she declared me a cruel bastard" Chandra started laughing at this like a maniac, and I can’t accuse her of doing so... {it is funny} ... "and after that, she ate the whole food that I cooked, and I have no option but to eat snacks to fill my empty belly" This is the last straw and Chandra finally fell on the ground while laughing. "That’s true," he said, and Chandra rolled her eyes... "Seems like your little guy is coming," Reed said, and both of them looked towards the room’s entrance. After a few seconds, an adorable boy came running, and for once, I couldn’t help but look at him in awe. He is very small, his hair is also trimmed short, but what I loved the most was that careless smile that is adorning his face... {I never saw Ryan so carefree. Look at those cute dimples.}

"Mom", he ran and jumped on Chandra, and I can’t help but picture myself with Dee in this scene.

"Here comes my Mowgli" she kissed his forehead... {Mowgli.. that’s cute and... teasable}

"Mom, come fast. Dad and I baked cookies," he looked so excited, "and we baked some for aunt jenny also," he said to Reed while reed was looking at him with a lot of love in his eyes... {I already know that he is imagining his kid in Ryan.}

"I am going then" reed got up from his place, but Ryan was still sitting on Chandra’s lap. He shook his head while smiling and went out of the room.

"Mom, will you teach me how to use knives, please?" he asked her so politely that I don’t think anyone could deny his request.

"Obviously, baby. But you need to learn basic things first, then we both will train with each other," she said, and Ryan pouted.

"But mom, you always say this. I am seven now. I am a big guy, please teach me" ... {oh, I can understand the situation, dee also says the same thing nowadays... ’I am big now... Seems like every kid in this universe does the same}

"We will talk about this later, but first, I wanted to eat the cookies that you baked," I think this should definitely divert Ryan’s mind.

"Ok, mom, but this time I am not going to let you go so easily. you need to teach me this"... {it seems like he is adamant about learning that}... Chandra nodded seriously, and they both went outside the room. I didn’t know what was happening or what I was experiencing, but I followed them. They climbed the stairs, and we came to Ryan’s house, where I am living right now... {it seems like that training room was in the basement} ... They went towards the kitchen, and there we found two men laughing and eating cookies. One was Reed, and the other, I am guessing, was Ryan’s father... {oh, come on, it is not hard to guess this. He has the same build and face cut as adult Ryan; only his hairs are brown... Ryan got his black eyes from his father.}

"Dad, you promised me that you would wait", Ryan whined and ran towards the cookies. Chandra went directly towards Ben and snaked her arms on his torso, and he kissed her forehead.

"Enjoyed the training," Ben asked her, and she hummed in response while breathing his scent deeply.

"I again kicked reed’s ass" Ben chuckled at this, and reed grunted.

"That’s because my whole focus is on Jenny, or you don’t stand a chance," he said grumpily, and Chandra narrowed her eyes on him.

"How about a rematch?" She challenged him, and he also narrowed his eyes.

"When are you two going to behave like adults? Chandra, you are already a mother of seven years old, and Reed, you will soon be a dad. Why don’t you guys leave those childish things for your children now?’’ Ben said to them while he Lifted Chandra, made her sit on the kitchen slab and gave her a cookie.

She took a bite and moaned, which instantly made Ben smile. "This is so delicious", she kissed his cheek and continued, "and no, we are not leaving all this because we are parents now. We will not stop our banter even after we become grandparents."

"Yeah, she is right," Reed said and snatched the cookie from Chandra’s hand. She opened her mouth, and Ben quickly shut her mouth with his hand.

"No cursing in front of Ryan" on this, she huffed, and Reed laughed loudly while eating her cookie.

"Stupid rotten mushroom", she cursed, and reed chuckled while Ben pinched her nose.

"You are extremely adorable," he said to Chandra.

"Not more than me" Ryan hugged Ben’s legs, and Ben took him in his arms.

"Of course, you are the most adorable," Ben said to him, and Ryan gave a cookie to Chandra.

"I am going home. Hopefully, jenny would not be mad at me now," Reed said to them and took a cookie jar from the slab. "Thanks for this, ben."

"Mention not Reed, and don’t expect her to behave normally so soon. Chandra behaved like that for an entire year when Ryan was born" Chandra hit Ben’s shoulder, and Reed groaned in irritation.

Suddenly all of their eyes became unfocused, and Ryan also stopped eating his cookie. As soon as their eyes became normal, they all looked alarmed. "Chandra, take Ryan and Jenny to the safe house. Reed, come with me, and mind link Elijah and Martha to send the best warriors on the southern borders," he said, and while Reed mind linked everyone, Ben kissed Chandra deeply.

"Take care, love. We will meet after killing those rogues," he said to her, and she nodded. After that, Ben kissed Ryan, "Take care of others, Ryan ’’ with it, he and reed went out, changed into their wolves, and sprinted into the woods. Chandra took all the knives that she found in the kitchen and handed them to Ryan.

"Kill everyone who will try to hurt you" he is looking scared but nodded eventually and took the knives from her. They ran out of the house... {Can I do something in this matter?} I tried to take something, but I am like a ghost that can’t touch anything. So, I gave up after two more tries and ran behind them. The scene outside shook me to the core. Rogues have penetrated the pack and are attacking each and every one. Chandra was still in her human form and was fighting a rogue when Ryan shouted.

"Mom, he is going to kill Ellon." I saw in the direction where he was pointing, and I shrieked in horror. A little kid was on the ground, and a rogue was hovering over him. He snarled at him and attacked his throat, but out of nowhere, a knife pierced that rogue’s snout. Ryan ran towards Ellon and took him with him while Chandra attacked the rogues who were a little far from her with the knives.

"Ryan, run towards the pack house and take as many people as you can take with you. I will give you cover" she didn’t wait for his reply and shifted in her jet-black wolf. Her wolf is an exact copy of the king, but there is a little height difference, and her wolf has brown eyes.

Ryan took Ellon’s hand. "Ryan, mom and dad are in danger", Ellon said while tears slipped from his eyes.

"Nothing will happen to gamma Elijah and Martha, Ellon, they are strong wolves, but we need to help those who need our help. Come on, help me" I am astonished by hearing these words from a seven-year-old Ryan. Ellon didn’t say anything, and they started taking other kids with them while Chandra killed all the rogues who came in their way. As soon as they reached the pack house, everyone ran inside. Suddenly Chandra, Ryan, Ellon, and I, all four of us, howled in pain.

I know this pain; I have suffered this pain more than once in my dreams. This is the pain of losing someone very important. I sat on the ground, clenching my chest, and tears clouded my vision. I wiped my tears and looked at the others. Chandra was fighting with rogues while tears were flowing from her eyes while Ryan was holding a hysterically crying Ellon from going towards those rogues... that’s when I finally understood what it was... {his parents are dead... those rogues killed Ellon’s parents}

"No, mom ... dad", Ellon is crying, and only pain is written on his innocent face. Tears are flowing from his blue eyes, and his small hands are trying to remove Ryan’s hands, which are holding him back from going toward those rogues. I know this feeling; I know this fucking feeling very well. When I dreamed about the death of my parents, I wanted to rip those wolves apart or get killed by them. I don’t want to live without them. I don’t want to live a life in which mommy is not there to wake me up every day, or daddy is not there to protect me from basically everything. "Please don’t go, mom, dad... please take me with you... please" his words and shrieks are breaking my heart.

Ryan was older than him; that’s why he was even able to hold Ellon back, or a kid the same age as Ellon would not have been able to stop him. I went towards them, but I was not able to touch them... {Why do people kill someone’s parents? Do they never think about what will happen to the people who were left behind?}

Chandra has killed more than seven wolves till now, but the wolf she is fighting right now is more potent than any of the previous ones. He was about to bite her leg when Ben’s brown and white wolf tackled him out of nowhere and tore his throat in one go.

Chandra changed into her human form. "Ryan, Ellon, go inside. I am going to Reed’s place. Jenny is alone at her home" she again changed into her wolf form, but again Ben, Chandra, Ryan, and I... all four of us howled in pain.

Both Ben and Chandra ran towards the place where the hostel that I lived in was. I wanted to follow them, but my legs were shivering with all the pain and emotions... {How were they able to even move?} ... I was trying to run behind them, but before me, Ryan stood, and when I looked at him closely, I found his eyes were flickering between green and black.

"No, Ryan, wait" I tried to stop him, but he ran behind his parents. I gathered all my strength and ran behind him. He shouldn’t have done that... Fuck, he clearly should not have done that... {I know what I am experiencing... it’s the day when Ryan shifted for the first time} ...
