Chapter 43: Chapter 43 - Is he flirting with me?

"Don’t make me mad. Come back here or ********." I would have stopped and given her a lesson on manners, but I didn’t have time because the wolf was very far from me, and if I wanted to know who he is, then I had to be fast.

"Wait" I shouted, and the werewolf started running. I also ran behind to catch it. I was only a few meters away from him, but a big grey wolf jumped on me out of nowhere.

As soon as I fell to the ground, the air was knocked out of my body, and for a few seconds I became numb as I was unable to feel anything.... {that stupid threw his whole weight on my body} ... After a minute when I finally got my senses back, I found a grey wolf hovering over me and snarling at me. I looked in the direction in which that wolf with golden eyes was, but nothing was at that place now. I can’t help but feel disappointed and angry at the same time... {why do I feel that I have lost something very important?} ... I put one hand on his jaw and another on his muzzle and shut his mouth, then I flipped him on the ground with full force and finally removed my hands from him... {What now?}

I looked around but didn’t find even a single glimpse of that golden-eyed wolf. Finally, I gave up and looked at the grey wolf which attacked me, who was standing behind Ryan now... {When did he come here??}

"Can I ask you why you are attacking my warriors?" he asked me in his alpha-like tone.

"Why don’t you ask your warrior why he attacked me?" I can’t help but shout in frustration... {Why am I feeling like this? It’s not like I know who the wolf is, or I don’t even know what I would have talked about or asked him... I just know that I wanted to talk with that wolf, and I lost that opportunity because of that grey wolf}

"A human or vampire is spotted running in the woods at high speed, and she doesn’t have any smell. Don’t you think this statement is worth alarming and the creature or human is worth stopping and attacking"... {well, he does have a point but do I have to agree with that??... I think yes for now} ... I looked at the wolf who was still standing behind alpha, but from his expressions, I clearly knew that he was pretty riled up by getting his ass kicked by a human.

"Fine, my mistake, I am sorry," I told him and turned towards the direction from which I came.

"This is not your blue moon pack, and I am not alpha Aiden who will let you go easily for attacking my warriors or for not attending the training on time" I turned towards him ... {he can’t be serious} ... I think he is seriously serious, "but before that, I wanted to know why you thought that running in the woods like mad women would be a better option than attending your training"... {I don’t think I should tell him about that golden-eyed wolf. He will put many restrictions on me}

"I wanted to explore the woods, and I thought, as now I am a member of this pack, I can roam here without taking permission from you" he narrowed his eyes on me.

"You do know that lying will only create more problems for you", he warned me, and I nodded "fine", his expression hardened. "Along with your duties as my assistant in both knights and pack matters, you will also have to provide services in warriors training. You are not allowed to skip a single day, not even Sundays" he also knows that he is being very hard and harsh, but I am not going to blame him for this... he is just treating me the way he treats all the other people... {why can’t I just punch that handsome face}

"Sure, alpha, anything else" I didn’t let any expressions cross my face... {from now I will treat him the same he treats me.}

"Jaxon will take you to the training ground" as soon as he said this, the grey wolf came towards me.

"You didn’t tell me that I am not allowed to wander in the pack without someone’s assistance when I joined the pack," I said to him with distaste. I know why he is doing that; he doesn’t want me to get injured again, but he can’t snatch my freedom away in order to keep me safe.

"’You can’t wander in the woods at this time like that."

"Why?... I thought that the crescent moon is the safest pack" I couldn’t help but taunt him, which made him madder.

"You are a human with no scent. My warriors will surely think of you as a threat if you keep wandering here and there. They will not hurt you because they would be able to feel the pack bond, but this doesn’t mean that they will not raise the alarm."

"Then inform the pack that you let a human with no scent join your pack. You are the fucking alpha king for a reason, alpha" as soon I said the last part, Jaxon snickered, and Ryan looked annoyed, but I didn’t let my expressions change... {now I will show him what staying uptight is} ... I looked at Jaxon. "Are you coming or not? I don’t want to be late for my training" I didn’t wait for him and started walking towards the training ground... {matt had already explained the geography of this pack, and being good in geography and reading maps is very useful in the werewolf world.}

After a few seconds, I heard the thumping of paws behind me, but I clearly knew that it was not king because, despite being huge, he was swift in his movements, and no one could even hear him walking. I heard the breaking of bones after a few seconds "so, you are the new human."

"Can’t you go back to being a wolf? I am not in the mood to chat with a naked man right now," I continued walking.

He chuckled and followed me... {I am glad he is not coming in front of me in his full glory}. "I can wear clothes if you are getting uncomfortable by my nakedness. Wait for a minute. I will be back," he said, and without waiting for my reply, he climbed a tree nearby. Of course, I didn’t see him, but being a warrior with werewolf senses gave me ample experience to understand the minor sounds around me.

"I told you to wait" he came running behind me and started walking with me. I looked at him, he was bare-chested, but thankfully he hid his jewels behind those shorts.

"I also told you to change into your wolf" I started walking again.

"Back there, that move was pretty smart for a human and god, the strength... that was commendable." I simply nodded and increased my pace "wait...you don’t want to say anything" he also increased his pace to mine.

"Do I need to say anything?"

"Well yeah, not saying anything when someone is trying to talk with you is rude.’’ I stopped and finally turned towards him... a sculpted body, handsome face, good height, and a smirk on his face. I don’t think he is more than 22 or 23... {it sounds weird, but I think he is trying to flirt with me}

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" I asked him in confusion. His eyes got wide, and the smirk vanished... {I think he definitely is not more than 21.}

"No, gosh, what gave this? No, I am just trying to get to know you. You know, like..." before he continued, I again started walking.

"I am too straightforward for excuses, Jaxon. You are cute and hot, but I am not interested in making new friends right now" he didn’t follow me for a few meters. "You should come with me, or alpha will have you by balls". Finally, I heard his footsteps, and he matched up with me, but he didn’t say anything after that.

When we reached the training ground, he turned and ran in the woods while I spotted Mia and matt. At first, I thought about going to Matt, but his extra protective behaviour was a big red flag for me. So, I went towards Mia.

When I went to her, she was observing the fight between two wolves. "What do you think? Who will win?" I asked her, but her entire focus was on their moves.

"They both are in the wrong stances. For me, neither of them is the winner" she finally looked at me and gave me a tight smile... {it seems like her mood is a little off today} ... "I thought that Alpha was joking when he said we need to start your training from today."

"Ryan and joke... these two words in a single statement are already a joke" this made her smirk.

"Well, I can’t deny it, can I?" I also smiled at this "so what are you doing here? I expected you to go to Matt,’’ she asked me and signalled for me to follow her.

"I am here for training, and Matt’s protectiveness for his loved ones is something that I think you already know" she ground her teeth on this.

"I am glad to know that there is someone else who is mad about this" we entered a hall in which there were loads and loads of gym equipment, and many people were doing heavy workouts. "I am not in the mood to talk about that fucker of my mate right now"... {it seems like matt is going to be in a problem soon}... "Don’t be mad at me if you will find the training a little hard. Alpha is extremely strict with the training of the pack members"... {that’s not surprising}... a huge bald man dressed in all black came towards us.

"Gamma", he bent his head towards Mia to show his respect.

"Reed, Meet Aadhya. A human, served in the blue moon pack as a warrior, has fought with vampires and werewolves, immune to wolfsbane and silver, has werewolf senses, and was discharged today morning from hospital after being in a coma for ten days after getting a heart attack" she is not talking with him in complete sentences, but her attitude and confidence is highly motivating "How many days you want me to give you to check her level?"

"Seventy-two hours"... {this man is good at his work}

"Send me a report after a week. Adjust the training timing along with her office and punishment timing"... {yeah, punishment. How can I forget this?} ... he nodded, and Mia turned towards me.

"Best of luck", she wished me and went out of the gym.

"This way," he said, and I followed him. "The dressing room is in that direction. You have two minutes to get changed" I got confused, but when I looked at my clothes, I cursed that golden-eyed werewolf... how can I go everywhere in this stupid hospital dress? ...{I think I should thank the gods that I am not in those hospital gowns instead, or that would be extremely embarrassing}.

I changed into whatever I found, and that was a t-shirt and shorts, and I was back in two minutes. He took me towards a huge door in the middle and opened it. In that hall, everyone is combating one another. He walked towards a girl, her back was towards us, but I didn’t need to look at her pin-straight blonde hair and green eyes to know who she was.

"Lily take your position," he said to her, and she finally turned towards me. As soon she saw me, she frowned but took the attacking stance... {here starts the eternal war between past, present and future.... congratulations Aadhya}.

Hello to all the fantastic people reading this note. I think you already know why I am writing this...... yeah, you guessed it right. Guys I really do need your reviews on my work.

I am very new in this field of writing and I am trying my best to update the Chapters along with keeping the story interesting, but I really do need to know what you guys think about my work.

I always believed, if people like my work and give me positive feedback then I did justify my work and if I will get negative feedback then I need to work harder, but I can’t apply my theory, when I didn’t have any feedback.
