Chapter 946: Chapter 756, The Small Moves Under the Blanket Chapter 946: Chapter 756, The Small Moves Under the Blanket The same style of blanket was also draped over Shi Yali's legs.
Wu Heng raised his eyebrows and cautiously glanced at the other person, who was studiously looking elsewhere.
During his moment of distraction,
Xi Ligui beside him felt his movements stop suddenly and, feeling a bit anxious, twisted around and brushed her legs against his, signaling him to continue.
Wu Heng soothed Xi Ligui on one side while stealing glances at Shi Yali on the other.
In fact, he could sense that Shi Yali had taken a liking to him.
But was the blanket because the air conditioning was truly a bit chilly, or had she noticed his subtle interactions with Xi Ligui and was giving him a hint?
He suspected the latter but feared he was overthinking it.
As Wu Heng pondered, he felt a smooth and slightly cool hand slip into his own palm, lightly scratching it.
Turning his head, he saw Shi Yali with a full-faced smile and a mischievous, wicked grin.
Wu Heng held her hand, not pulling away, and Shi Yali relaxed a bit, the smile at the corner of her mouth growing more apparent.
Then, Shi Yali pulled his hand under the blanket, resting it on her leg.
The two sisters, although similar in appearance, had some differences in their figures.
Xi Ligui's legs were more rounded while Shi Yali's were long and straight.
Even through the pants, they felt quite elastic.
Wu Heng, hand resting on her leg, thought for a moment, then, just like he had with Xi Ligui, he began to explore the flat belly area and then moved downward.
Feeling his hands suddenly move lower, Shi Yali's body tensed up abruptly, her legs clamping tightly around the offending hand, her eyes full of confusion.
She looked at her sister with even more astonishment.
Wu Heng was also taken aback; he had gone too far.
Shi Yali glared at him with a red face, pinched the back of his hand hard, and then moved his hand back to rest on her leg.
Wu Heng laughed awkwardly.
That worked too, one step at a time.
The movie ended.
The lights in the room came on.
The maids chattered about wanting to play a game.
The elf sisters, however, both flushed, guiltily folded up the blankets.
“Steward Xi Ligui, Assistant Shi Yali, stay and play games with us! I'll teach you, it's very simple,” Robey jumped out and said.
Xi Ligui glanced at the sky outside the window, “It's too late, perhaps next time.”
“If it's late, you can stay here, we have plenty of rooms,” Wu Heng suggested.
Xi Ligui replied irritably, “Being known to spend the night at the Island Master's house, what a bad impression that would make for a Steward.”
“I'll teleport you back in the morning, no one will know,” Wu Heng offered.
“No way, my sister is still here, we'll talk about it some other time,” Xi Ligui said firmly.
Shi Yali stood by, arms crossed, listening to the conversation without voicing her opinion.
Seeing their insistence on leaving, Wu Heng did not push further.
After all, they all lived on the island, and he could see them every day; there was no need to insist they stay.
He escorted the two sisters to the door and arranged for a Skull Team to take them home.
Wu Heng and the maids returned to the house.
While the maids started their game, Wu Heng quickly freshened up and went straight to his room to rest.
Lying in bed,
he couldn't help but think back to the recent events.
If Shir Yali's exaggerated behavior last time was due to being drunk,
then this time, although she'd had some to drink, it was within her tolerance.
It was clear what she wanted.
This elf sister had also taken a fancy to him.
And she was quite bold about it.
His feelings for Xi Ligui had developed over time through a partnership in battle.
Trust in each other gradually morphed into a kind of romantic affection.
When had Shi Yali started taking an interest in him?
It wasn't some kind of fetish, was it?
Shi Yali liking him was, to be honest, quite pleasing.
Who wouldn't like such a pair of beautiful and pretty elf sisters?
But whether Xi Ligui, who was accepting of his maids, could accept him going after her sister,
“Xi Ligui probably won't like the idea.”
“Oh man! Better just refuse Shi Yali, what's with all this touching?”
At the Steward Mansion.
Xi Ligui soaked in the bathing tub, exhaling deeply.
The Flower Nectar Wine had a strong aftereffect, making the movie night unsettling.
Absolutely annoying.
Creak~!
The bathroom door was pushed open, and Shi Yali walked in wrapped in a white bath towel.
Xi Ligui peered through the misty fog and complained, “You're really slow.”
With that, she moved forward in the tub to make room for Shi Yali to sit behind her, leaning back against her.
The two of them had grown up together and had always been very close.
Shi Yali was the older sister and had come to Gold and Silver Island with her. Even after dying once on the island, she still chose to stay. She helped with paperwork, cooking, and cleaning–an attentive and caring sister.
Xi Ligui cared deeply for her sister as well. Everything she had now, she had fought for with her very life.
Shi Yali hugged her sister and whispered, “So soft, no wonder Wu Heng likes to touch.”
Xi Ligui slapped her hand away. “What are you talking about?”
Shi Yali leaned closer to her ear, “During the movie, all those little gestures you made–I'm not blind, you know.”
Xi Ligui's body shivered. “What, what little gestures?”
“Just the little gestures under the blanket.”
Xi Ligui's cheeks and body visibly turned red as she defensively said, “It was just holding hands. You wouldn't know since you don't have a man; it's very normal.”
Shi Yali laughed, wrapping her arms around her sister's waist. “I didn't say anything–why are you getting so nervous?”
“I'm not nervous at all.”
Shi Yali leaned in again, “Tell your sister, besides holding hands, what else did you do?”
“Why do you need to know; are you sick or something?”
“There's no need to keep secrets from your sister! I'll keep it confidential…”
Xi Ligui said irritably, “Those words of yours are for deceiving children.”
“So are you going to tell your sister or not?”
“Ah! You're so annoying, just some touching,” said Xi Ligui, in a mix of shyness and irritation.
“Touched where?”
“Don't go too far, Shi Yali.”
…
The following morning, Wu Heng came down from upstairs.
Robey jogged over, eagerly bringing him his bowl and chopsticks, “Master, breakfast is ready.”
Wu Heng ruffled her cute little head, and Robey giggled foolishly.
Then, the rest of the maids also came over.
They sat down at the dining table to eat.
As they ate, Andre Willow said, “Master, the dignitaries who want to attend the auction should be arriving soon. I think we should discuss with the association to strengthen security on the island and along the shipping routes.”
“You and Xi Ligui handle it,” said Wu Heng. “Arrange for all the skeletons on the island to be deployed.”
Andre Willow nodded. “Okay, when I get to city hall, I'll give the Steward a call and sort this out.”
Wu Heng added, “If any ships from the association's headquarters dock, remember to let me know.”
No one had replied to the letter he had sent to the headquarters.
He didn't know if any heroes would attend.
Whether they did or not actually didn't matter much; the main thing was to keep in contact with them.
At a critical moment, they might speak up for him.
“Alright,” Andre Willow agreed once more.
After a brief chat, they finished their breakfast.
Andre Willow and Annette left for city hall, while Mini and Robey cleaned up and prepared for their daily training.
Life as a maid in the Island Lord's Mansion wasn't too bad.
There were no heavy laborious tasks; the most taxing part was training to improve themselves.
In terms of living conditions, they had air conditioning, private rooms, and ate whatever Wu Heng ate.
As Philippa said, it was the kind of life a princess or queen would have.
The maids all went to do their own things.
Wu Heng then went upstairs, back to his study.
Entering the study, he called his three Ghosts and went to Zombie World.
…
Stepping out of the boundary door, he glanced out the window at the surroundings.
There were no changes; the Skeleton Army still filled the streets and the open spaces as far as the eye could see.
He released the Ghosts and checked on the Zombie King imprisoned in the room.
The Zombie King was still securely tied in place, and the glance he cast up at him was as fierce and resentful as ever.
Like a trapped wild beast waiting for a chance to take revenge.
“Take him with us when we head out,” Wu Heng ordered and turned to leave the room.
The skeletons dragged the Zombie King along, following behind all the way to the truck.
“Put him in the truck bed,” Wu Heng commanded.
Sensing he was about to be taken away, the Zombie King began to struggle violently.
Only after countless spears plunged down and the Zombie King turned from struggling to painfully convulsing was he thrown into the back of the truck.
“Are we heading back to the base?” Glenda asked.
“There aren't many zombies left here; we'll head back and look for a new place to raise Bella's level,” Wu Heng explained.
“Thank you, everyone. It's been hard work,” Bella said with a smile.
Xiao Xiao remarked, “It's not hard work; we're ghosts and can't feel the strain.”
Wu Heng reminded, “Xiao Xiao, I'm still alive, you know.”
