The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride -
Chapter 156: Let Elliana talk
Chapter 156: Let Elliana talk
Silence.
Or was it not silent?
Thousands of unsaid words lingered in the air, the unsaid feelings, unexpressed emotions, suppressed frustration, and everything that came along the lines of obsession and possession.
"Mmmmpphhh," Sebastian turned to the girl as he bolted the door after an hour.
It took him one hour to decide he would be able to control his anger around his princess and won’t end up hurting her.
With a sigh, he walked to the princess and held her hand over the duvet. Though his face was hidden with a mask, if Elliana had been awake, she would’ve felt really happy seeing him looking at her like this.
"Vincenzo?" Sebastian called the number that Lucas said had been annoying him for the past 24 hours.
"Sebastian, are you trying to contact Marcello?" Vincenzo wasn’t like Stephano to go around in circles, and he went straight to the point rather than dilly-dallying.
"Aren’t your men already looking for him? What happened? You can’t reach him?" Sebastian looked at his wife, whose heartbeat picked up suddenly, and he placed his hand back on her hand to calm her down.
He leaned forward and patted her head softly before raising his mask and kissing her forehead softly.
As much as he wanted to keep watching her, disturbing her sleep was the last thing he wanted to do.
He walked to the curtains and looked at the backyard where some people were walking, enjoying the mountain view.
"Don’t play games with me, Sebastian, I am not Stephano," Vincenzo’s voice was controlled as if he was barely keeping his anger away.
"But I am still the same Sebastian, Vincenzo. What made you think you can talk down to me? And don’t mention the kinship and age gap to me. If you have something important to talk to me, speak further or stop disturbing me. Unlike you guys who have the world vouching for them, I am still the monster everyone hates," Sebastian leaned on the wall casually.
"So that’s it? You are rebelling just because Grandpa isn’t giving you the throne seat?" Vincenzo asked.
"You want to hear the truth about why I am rebelling, Vincenzo? Would you like to hear it in public instead?" Sebastian smirked coldly, and Vincenzo let out a cold snarl.
"Don’t you dare!" He growled, and Sebastian suppressed the urge to laugh.
Of course, this was now a sore spot for them. If the public heard about what the royal Kingdom was hiding from them, they would go berserk and the panic mode would send the kingdom on a destruction path.
"Mmhhh, Mr. Marino," Elliana moaned softly before she blinked her eyes.
Sebastian’s gaze darkened when she sat and the duvet fell from her chest.
She was dressed appropriately, but the way her chest was heaving up and down, and remembering what she did to him, he found himself in a tough spot, his soldier making it hard for him to ignore the lewd thoughts in his mind.
"Mr. Marino? What are you doing here?" Elliana’s voice was barely a soft whisper, and Vincenzo, who was about to ask Sebastian if he really knows where was Marcello, paused.
This voice. So sweet and innocent. Why did it sound like the voice of an alluring siren? So mesmerizing and alluring. Vincenzo gulped, his heart skipping a beat.
"So you are finally awake, princess?" Sebastian didn’t bother to conceal the amusement in his voice, and Elliana nodded.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"You have been out for three hours. Do you remember what happened before you passed out, Princess?" Sebastian walked to her and cupped her cheeks with his free hand, rubbing her jaws with his thumb.
Though his voice was still cold and void of any emotion, it was the lack of rudeness and attitude in his voice that shocked Vincenzo.
"Mmm...my head is a little heavy and dizzy and my stomach is growling too. Did I not eat anything?" Elliana looked up at Sebastian with a soft innocent expression that was a clear indication that she didn’t remember what happened, and Sebastian sighed.
Stupid, annoying, provocative girl!
"Princess, you! How can you? After evoking -" Sebastian sighed before he placed his forehead on hers, pulling her infinitely closer.
"Did I do something wrong?" Elliana asked innocently, and Sebastian shook his head, feeling helpless because of the innocence in her eyes that he wanted to ruin so badly.
He seriously can’t wait to have her under him.
"You can do nothing wrong in my eyes. And even if you do something wrong, I’ll turn that wrong into right. And if I can’t turn it, that thing doesn’t hold any significance," Sebastian whispered to her, his mask touching Elliana’s lips as he barely controlled the demon inside himself.
The demon wanted to gag Elliana, throw her on the bed, rip her clothes, spread her legs, and eat her out like he hasn’t eaten for a decade.
"Have you fallen for me, Mr. Marino?" Elliana asked, shocking Sebastian with the sudden question, and he pulled back enough to look into her eyes.
"What -"
"Why are you quoting lines like that from a romantic novel? Are you proposing to me? Hehe, you don’t need to do that. I am already yours and only yours, aren’t I?" Elliana blinked at him, and Sebastian looked at her innocent expression.
Why the hell did his heart skipped a beat at such a random line? It was the truth, wasn’t it? She was his wife is she was his. Then shy was he feeling so happy in his heart?
Sebastian was about to ruffle her hair when he remembered his phone was still on.
"Come here," Sebastian pulled Elliana in for a hug, making her head rest on his chest.
"Vincenzo, is there anything else or not?" Sebastian asked, and he thought that Vincenzo would ask about Marcello, but what he asked next almost made him throw his phone and crush it into tiny pieces.
"Can I talk to your wife?"
Sebastian looked at Elliana, who probably heard Vincenzo’s words too.
She had just woken up after that incident, and doing something to scare her was the last thing on his mind. Thus, with a dejected sigh, Sebastian hummed.
"Princess, my elder brother wants to talk to you," Sebastian said.
"Mr. Stephano?" Elliana asked, and Vincenzo gulped, anticipating to hear her voice more clearly.
"It’s Vincenzo. My other brother. The one who wants me out of the family and probably this nation along with Stephano," Sebastian explained.
Vincenzo - "..." Well, you didn’t exactly have to introduce him like that.
"Is that so? He is a bad man?" Elliana said innocently, and Vincenzo clenched his fists.
"Hello, Mr. Vincenzo," Elliana’s voice turned a shade colder, and Sebastian raised his brows at the sudden change in her voice.
She was really angry because he told her that. She was such an adorable wife, wasn’t she? Sebastian smiled
"Glory?" Vincenzo said one word, and Elliana’s facade turned even colder.
"The name is Elliana. For someone who is fighting my husband, you surely have a weakness of short-term memory loss," Elliana said, and Sebastian looked at her, shocked.
Was she really roasting his elder brother for him? He thought, unaware of the fact that she was just trying to protect her secret.
