Chapter 579: Chapter 579 Camping Activity (3)_1

"Of course! If you’re good, Aunt Susu will take you with her!" Susu said as she naturally patted Qin Yuzhou on the head.

Qin Yuzhou’s normally calm face was tinged with a smile, the touch on his head was comforting, and the little guy’s words were heartwarming.

Zhang Wanwan and Qin Luoyun, although not as quick at it as Susu, still followed the manual together, figuring it out step by step, steady and methodical.

Half an hour later, they also had their little tent successfully set up.

Looking at their handiwork, the mother and daughter were brimming with a sense of accomplishment.

Zhang Wanwan’s face was full of smiles. The messed-up version of herself from the past would never have imagined that such a simple activity with her daughter could bring such immense happiness and satisfaction.

Qin Luoyun was jumping excitedly, then ran to share her experience of tent-pitching with Susu.

"Aunt Susu, look, look, we’ve set up our tent too! Mom and I did it together!"

"Well done, my little niece!" Susu didn’t hold back her lavish praise and promptly complimented Qin Luoyun.

Receiving Susu’s praise, Qin Luoyun was utterly content.

Linking arms with Susu, Qin Luoyun glanced over at Chu Yanxi and observed that her tent was not yet up. She said with a smile to Susu, "Aunt Susu, look, Xiaoxi’s tent isn’t up yet! She’s not as quick as us!"

Susu glanced in that direction and agreed, "Yes, Yunyun is better than her! Yunyun is fantastic."

Of course, she was even more fantastic!

But at this moment, it was better to praise her little niece. She was already a mature elder!

"Yes!" Qin Luoyun was extremely happy, thrilled with Aunt Susu’s compliment and happy to have beaten Chu Yanxi!

At this point, Chu Heng and Chu Yanxi’s tent was still in a state of disarray.

Chu Yanxi didn’t know how to set up the tent, and neither did Chu Heng.

The father and daughter pair, lacking any practical skills, struggled with the tent to no avail, prompting Chu Heng to start complaining, "What the hell is this? Why do we have to pitch our own tents for a camping trip? What was the school thinking?"

Chu Heng’s voice was not low, and a nearby teacher overheard him.

Teacher Zhu approached with an awkward smile and tried to explain to Chu Heng, "Yanxi’s dad, we let the parents and children pitch tents together both to develop the children’s practical skills and to encourage a joint learning process."

"Got it."

Seeing many parents looking his way, Chu Heng suppressed his impatience and agreed.

After struggling for a while longer, Chu Heng finally managed to set up the necessary tent somewhat reluctantly.

Chu Yanxi was a bit frustrated; she hadn’t expected her dad to be so incompetent, to be the last of all the parents to finish.

"Dad, can you be quicker next time?" Chu Yanxi urged in a muffled voice.

"Stop nagging. It’s good enough that it’s up. I’m not made for this. Business is my forte."

Business? She hadn’t seen him that strong in business either! Flirting with women is more like your forte! Chu Yanxi muttered to herself.

After the tents were pitched, the kindergarten teachers asked the parents to take a break with their children, and then it was game time.

The teacher had the children and parents sit on the grass, and everyone played the game of Hot Potato.

Whoever had the flower when the music stopped had to stand up and perform.

Chu Heng was extremely annoyed, cursing inwardly: Why are the activities in kindergarten so mind-numbingly boring.
