Her small appearance looked both endearing and obedient, a stark contrast to how she acted around Wang Qing.

Wang Qing quickly offered, "Let me go make it for her."

Wang Qing volunteered to help to gain favor in front of Susu.

"Aqing, you’re pregnant, don’t go running around..." Qin Xingzhi didn’t want his wife to move about too much.

"It’s fine, just heating up some milk. I’ve raised three children; I can handle warming some milk," Wang Qing declared with confidence.

"Alright then," seeing his wife insist, Qin Xingzhi could only let her go.

Then, crouching down again, Qin Xingzhi praised Susu, "Susu, I heard you were super cool today..."

"Of course!"

"Next time you go fishing, will you take your big brother? He wants to learn your outstanding fishing skills."

"Yes! I’ll teach Big Brother! Teach him to catch big fish!" Susu exclaimed confidently, her little face tilting upward.

Just as Susu finished speaking, a scream from Wang Qing echoed through the room.
