Qin Yuzhou seated Susu and ordered two cups of fresh milk.

He took out his phone and placed it in front of An’an.

Susu raised her head, looked at Qin Yuzhou, and then at An’an.

Then, she took out a little tiger toy from her bosom, placing it next to the phone.

Although she did not understand why she had to place something on the table, she knew there needed to be a sense of ritual.

She didn’t have a phone, so a little tiger toy would have to do.

"Meow~" The little tiger looked around bewildered.

In the end, it walked up to the fresh milk, stuck out its tongue, and licked the side of the cup.

An’an, seeing Qin Yuzhou’s phone, scrutinized his clothing for the day, as if assessing the possibility that he might be carrying other recording devices.

She then pulled out a black device from herself and swept it around Qin Yuzhou’s body.

This high-tech equipment could detect electronic devices; if Qin Yuzhou had any hidden cameras or listening devices, it would find them.

Finally, after confirming that Qin Yuzhou did not carry any recording equipment, An’an was able to relax.

She then told Qin Yuzhou, "Mr. Qin, I’m sorry for the unfounded accusations you’ve faced, but I can’t help you clear this up. In fact, I’ve come to you today hoping you will admit that you are my extramarital affair partner."

"Are you out of your mind? Why should I admit to something that isn’t true? Your affair is your own business; why drag me into it? Why not bring out the man you are having an affair with instead?"

"That’s not possible. I can’t let everyone know his identity."

"So you’re saying you intentionally didn’t clarify because you don’t want people to know the real identity of your lover? To protect your real adulterer, you’re willing to let everyone misunderstand me?" Qin Yuzhou heard what seemed like the joke of the century.

"I’m sorry, I know this is unfair to you, but his identity is special. If people found out, it would negatively affect his career and family."
