Chapter 241: Chapter 241 This is a Matter for the Adults_1

"Susu, there are a vast number of things the company is lacking, and they are not things that just anyone can find," Qin Yuche patiently explained.

"Then we’ll go find a vast number of them!" Susu replied.

"Susu, the materials the company is short on are called rare earths, a type of resource that is very limited in our country. Years ago, a mining area was discovered to the north of our Huacheng City, and our Qin Family established a factory nearby, relying on this resource. However, the rare earths in that mining area were exhausted ten years ago, and our factory’s needs have been completely dependent on imports ever since," he explained in detail.

Qin Yuche’s explanation was quite thorough, but for Susu, it was still somewhat abstruse and difficult to grasp.

She could only roughly understand that the things that were missing used to exist but were gone now.

Qin Yuche didn’t expect Susu to understand everything; he just hoped the little guy would realize that some things weren’t for a child to worry about.

"Susu, you don’t need to worry. If the sky falls, the adults will hold it up, so you don’t need to fret over this issue."

"But if Daddy, Mommy, big brother, and my big nephew are sad, I will be sad too. I don’t want them to be sad, I want to help. Handsome nephew, don’t worry, I’m super awesome at finding things!" Susu responded.

Looking into Susu’s innocent eyes, Qin Yuche felt an indescribable sensation in his heart.

Susu, so young, had already taken it upon herself to protect her family, while he had been avoiding the outside world and social interactions due to his own fears.

He had always been able to dodge the chaos of society and concentrate on doing what he wanted, largely because his family had the means to allow him to do so.

But what would become of his current peace if the Qin Family really faced an irreversible crisis?

Qin Yuche reached out his hand and gently stroked Susu’s head.

He said nothing more.

Qin Chengzhi and Zhang Wanwan were visiting Qin Jinfang and Hong Baozhu for the first time in half a year.

Seeing their son and daughter-in-law, Qin Jinfang and Hong Baozhu were very anxious.

"Acheng, why have you come back at this time? What if someone sees you?" Hong Baozhu asked.

"Mom, it’s fine, we’ve resolved the debt issue," Qin Chengzhi said with full confidence.

"Really? That’s great! That’s great! I was so worried!" Hong Baozhu said, relieved beyond measure.

Qin Jinfang and Hong Baozhu held traditional gender biases, lavishing affection on their only treasured son, Qin Chengzhi.

As a result, Qin Chengzhi had been raised lazy and spoiled.

Even so, the couple still regarded Qin Chengzhi as their lifeblood.

"It’s all fine now, Mom. Wanwan and I will have to go out in a bit," Qin Chengzhi said impatiently.

"Why leave so soon? Why not stay for a meal at home? I’ll cook you something delicious," Hong Baozhu urged with eagerness.

"What’s there to cook? With your cooking skills, what good could you possibly make?" snapped Qin Chengzhi. "We should all go eat at my uncle’s place instead. The chef they hired can cook such delicious meals."

"You want to go to your uncle’s place for a meal?" Hong Baozhu asked, surprised.

"What’s wrong? Uncle and auntie are back. Is there a problem if we go to visit?"

Qin Chengzhi was still unaware of the recent events that had occurred between his parents and his uncle’s family.

"Acheng, there’s been a bit of an issue between us and your uncle and auntie recently. Now, except for Yunyun, they won’t allow any of us to visit the Qin Family," Qin Jinfang said with a mix of embarrassment and frustration.

"What?!" Qin Chengzhi was taken aback.
