He shifted his attention towards Amon, the mascot of the system.

"Kfufu.. the mercenary system is a unique and tactical function within the Greedvil Menu. The option allows the user to summon battle ready warriors, assassins, or specialists to assist them in combat or complete specific missions"...

"Once summoned, the mercenary follows the user’s will until the mission ends. After completing their task, they vanish back into the system’s void— never lingering behind. It is a single-use summon, a disposable weapon for desperate times".

The demon explained. Yang Chen nodded his head, finally understanding what the option was. That said, the option was quite useful. With this, he could practically do anything. A mercenary who would obey all of his commands.

Was there still something he needed to fear?

Just as his thoughts were starting to get out of hands, he realised something and stopped his mind from getting ahead. As with all the other options of the system, the [Mercenary System] was bound to also have its own limitations.

Maybe it was just his scepticism or maybe he had turned just like the demon wanted him to, but he couldn’t trust anything now without doubting it first.

"Kfufu... that’s called growth. Anyways, you are right. There is a limitation to the [Mercenary System] and that is, you can only call up mercenaries around your or below your realm, never above. That is to say, with your current strength, you can summon a mercenary up to or below Nine Star Battle Overlord Realm".
