For a person of his stature to protect someone, all the practitioners gathered here had the same thought.

People were finally starting to realise what was going on as the conversation between the two peak practitioners of the empire continued. "That person crippled my son and several of our disicples. The entire Yan clan considers him a criminal. Do you really want to worsen the relationship between our two clans because of some unknown young man?"...

"Unknown young man?" Hearing Yan Aoatian’s statement, Tang Wuji snorted once again "Do you really think what happens in the Yan province doesn’t reach the ears of this old man?"

"This young man is no unknown brat. If I’m not wrong, he is an alchemy genius, a bonafide tier 3 alchemist that the branch master Yao Dian from the Yan province was bragging about. I’m sure the alchemist association in the capital would also like to have a say in you trying to take him away to your clan forcefully".
