Usually, one gets to know their soul disposition only after reaching the Soul Sublimation Realm, whereupon they cultivate an elemental seed in their soul realm.

In short, one’s soul energy only gets an attribute after reaching the Phaseless Soul Stage. So the fact that Yang Chen’s soul realm displayed a disposition even before reaching that stage was a baffling case.
