Everywhere they went, they made a complete mess of his organs. Thankfully, Yang Chen possessed an undying body. All of his organs swiftly healed as soon as they were destroyed.

Watching him from a distance, Amon couldn’t help but shake his head. The energy from the condensed essence liquid was extremely berserk and out of league for a Soul Condensation realm cultivator.

The only reason Yang Chen hadn’t burst was due to his heavenly physique. What’s more, this was just the beginning. He had yet to refine that energy and store it in his soul realm. Compared to the pain and danger he was about to go through, the current agony paled in comparison.

Time ticked by, in this unknown realm, it was impossible to predict the passage of time. In this eternally quiet place, a human and a demon were the only two beings that could be seen.

The demon was hovering around in an anxious manner while the human was seated cross legged, spasming continuously. Who could the two be other than Amon and Yang Chen?

At this moment, the latter was trembling intensely with red steam coming out of his body. His skin had cracked like the surface of the dried earth, and blood was continuously streaking out of it.

However, due to the temperature of his body being too hot, all the blood vaporised into steam, thus the red steam.

What’s more, that was not the end of his agony. As a result of trying to refine something far higher level than him, his body had bulged abnormally, like an overinflated balloon.

Veins that looked hideous to the eyes, slithered like snakes around his face. His voice was hoarse with clotted blood around the edges of his mouth. Clearly, Yang Chen was in such an outlandish pain that he couldn’t even scream anymore.

Inside Yang Chen’s soul realm, a storm was brewing. Thick dark clouds covered the entirety of space and was churning with an annihilation like power.

Thunderbolts continuously flashed and rammed against the walls of the soul realm, in an attempt to destroy it. Cracks appeared and it looked like the soul realm would be destroyed any second.

However, right before the soul realm could collapse completely, a mysterious nourishing power would surface from the depths of the soul realm and slowly heal the walls.

Thunderbolts struck and nourishing power would heal. The cycle repeated again and again, never allowing the soul realm to be completely destroyed.

Slowly by slowly, through repeated ordeals, the soul realm started expanding. Its walls became stronger and its inner space grew. Becoming from the size of a small room to the size of a big house.

That was not all, the biggest change and the most drastic out of all would be the presence of the thunder clouds still inside the soul realm. These fearsome thunder clouds that almost destroyed the soul realm, was now a part of it.

Having been tempered by Yang Chen’s Soul energy, a unique and profound change occurred inside his soul realm, allowing him to control these thunder clouds as if they were a part of him.

Yang Chen breathed out a turbid breath of air and slowly opened his eyes.

Crackle... the next instant, a light surge at the deepest recess of his dark eyes causing thunder to echo in the surrounding space.

Seconds passed by on the tenth second, an abnormal amount of energy burst out of Yang Chen’s soul energy like a typhoon that wants to overturn everything. It quickly covered the special space of the dais and only settled down once it reached the edges of this space.

RUMBLE... RUMBLE... the next moment, the thick almost viscous soul energy produced abnormal black clouds churning with destructive lightning. Just when it seemed like a rain of lightning would struck, the entire spectacle disappeared as if it was never there.
