"It should be barely enough" Amon commented.

From the look of things, trying to tame the Late Stage Battle Overlord Demonic Puppet with just five curse seals might appear an ordeal. However, it was the best Yang Chen could manage right now.

The latter pressed his palms together and let the five curse seals merge together.

While this was happening, the demonic puppet appeared before him and delivered a destructive punch.

Mysterious seals turned into a flash of light and drilled into the temple of the demonic puppet. The latter stopped its rampage and shook intensely for a while.

Meanwhile, Tang Xun’er who was almost about to reach the peak of the statue, turned her head around in horror after seeing Yang Chen get hit by the Demonic Puppet.

"Yang Chen!!" Calling out in horror, she was just about to rush in to help him when Yun stopped her.

"Wait, you rushing there won’t help the situation. If you want to help that guy, quickly place the jewel in its place. Only by suppressing the Demonic Puppet do you both stand a chance to clear this ordeal".

Tang Xun’er hesitated seeing Yang Chen cough up blood and do his best to stop the puppet. She made her resolve and picked up her pace. Climbing onto the top of the statue, she grabbed the jewel and wasted no time to piece it back into its place.

"Did I do it?" Tang Xun’er questioned, seeing that there was no reaction.

RUMBLE... shortly after, the jewel glowed. Dust began to fall off from the gigantic statue and it began to move with a low rumble. At the same time, on the ground the eight chains binding the demonic puppet glowed with the same light as the jewel.

This initiated a fierce reaction from the puppet and it thrashed around in an attempt to break through. Nevertheless, once the huge hand came down, its struggle ended and the puppet was completely suppressed.

Immediately afterwards, Tang Xun’er came running to check on his condition.

"I’m fine. Thankfully, the puppet didn’t use too much of its strength back there" Yang Chen reassured.

The place was in the inner section of the ancient ruins. A fierce struggle among numerous battle practitioners had broken out. Powerful clash of energies and resulting shockwaves spread through the area, resulting in cracks forming all around the walls.

Blood spurted and lives were harvested like crops every second. The scene here was extremely bloody. Yet despite such cruelty, nobody stopped attacking. It was as if they had lost their mind and the only thing they knew was harvesting the life before them.

Not far from this unusual battlefield were a group of practitioners standing idly by the sidelines. However, unlike the ones fighting like mindless beasts in the distance, the group of people retained their sanity and were calmly observing their situation.
