"Heh, it looks like you are taking care of that girl quite well. I must say, your acting is quite good. Keep acting like that and with a perfect opportunity, that girl will fall head over heels for you" Amon commented appearing out of nowhere as usual.

"It’s not like that, I helped her previously because I couldn’t see her act all clueless" Yang Chen explained.

"Hoh, did you perhaps help her out of the kindness of her heart and not due to the plan? Tch, talk about ruining my mood. The plan is for her to fall for you, not the other way round"...

"I know, I only helped this one time. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten the plan. Anyways, you never explained to me why I had to make an impression on that girl and do all such unnecessary things. You should know I don’t like this kind of thing"

Yang Chen looked at the demon and questioned. The latter’s plan was completely unknown to him. Since he was cooperating with him, shouldn’t he be at least briefed about the plan?

"Hehe, if I told you about the plan, it wouldn’t go according to it. Just do as I say, sooner or later, you will be reaping the benefits"

As expected, Amon did not tell him anything. For him, this was a form of entertainment, he got great pleasure watching him struggle and stumble as he arrived at his goal. His spiteful nature really did piss one to no end.

That said, he did trust the demon and his judgment. He knew that the other party wouldn’t do anything that would cause him harm or bring him disadvantage. As such, he could go through with the plan, even if it meant ploughing ahead blindly.

"Good, it looks like the ancient sect would still take a few days to open. Use this time to gather as much information as you can on it. Of course, take that lass with you. The more you interact with her during this time, the more profoundly you will leave the impression on her" The demon added.

Yang Chen nodded his head before changing the topic "By the way, what about those people?"..

"Hmm? Are you talking about the trio? Don’t worry about them I have put the Tracker Pin on them. Now we can monitor their movement anytime we want. The last time I checked, they were on the other side of the desert ruin"

Amon spoke. With a swift motion of his trident, the Menu appeared in front of Yang Chen.

The latter swiftly pulled open the [Map] option and looked at the geography of the area. He could see multiple markers moving around the area like ants.

These markers represented the people who were around fifty meters area from him. Usually, the [Map] options could only show him all the living beings in a thirty meters around him.

However, after the increase of his strength, that is when he became a Battle Grandmaster, not only did the range that could be shown on the map increase, but a new feature also got unlocked.

As could be seen at the corner of the map, there he could see two black dots moving outside of the range of his map. This new feature is called Tracker Pin, and just like the identification feature, it is an extremely useful secret tool of the Map.

Using this option, Yang Chen could now put a tracker on somebody and use it to find them anywhere anytime. Just by tapping on the tracker pin and choosing the dots he wants to follow, he can put a tracker on them.

It was that simple.

Once done, he can open the Map to see exactly where they are and monitor them at any time. This is also what he had done with the trio.

When they were in the Air Engine, he opened the map and using the Tracker Pin option he quickly put a tracker on the three of them. Now with this, he didn’t have to worry about bumping into the trio.

As long as he avoided the path they took with the amount of crowd that was here, there was no way they would be able to find him.

"It looks like they are quite far away" Yang Chen muttered. Just like Amon said, the trio were quite far away from him.

"Hm?"

A frown suddenly appeared on his face. He was just about to put away the map, when he noticed a red marker being flashed amidst the spots of blue in the map. What’s more based on the proximity that is being shown, they had to be very close to him, probably in the same establishment as him.

What was going on? Why would the map suddenly detect a hostile presence when obviously he had just arrived at the desert ruins?

Moreover, he had hidden his appearance as such, nobody should be able to recognise who he was.

"That’s odd, why is the Map showing an enemy so near you?"

Even the usually witty Amon was taken aback.

Usually, all the people in the fifty meters range of the map are displayed by a blue marker which represents neutral entities. That is to say, people who are neither hostile to him nor friendly.

Green is for allies, people who are friendly to you. Black is for those you put a tracker on and as for red, it was reserved solely for entities that are hostile to him and can be considered enemies.

For a red marker to appear here, there could only be one meaning and that was one of his enemies was here.

Who could it be?

"Is it the Yan Clan?" Yang Chen mused.

The only enemy he made so far that he could think of, other than the trio was the Yan Clan. Technically this place was just outside the border of their territory as such it won’t be unusual to see some of their members here, having been attracted by the allure of the ancient sect.
