The Greatest Disciple of the Evil Sect -
Chapter 280- Jin’s Den
Chapter 280: Chapter 280- Jin’s Den
Yang Chen looked at the demonic spirit, to be able to convey his voice directly inside his head, what level of realm does one have to be to do something like this?
As astonishing as the methods of the demonic spirit was, his words were equally surprising. Especially when it was a threat.
That’s right, his last words were a form of warning. He was warning him not to do anything that would set his caution.
His overprotectiveness caused Yang Chen to feel a slight headache. The only reason why he was doing all these roundabout things was because of Amon. He wanted him to get close to her for some reason.
If he agreed to leave her be after this wouldn’t it go contrary to his plan? Yang Chen looked at Amon.
"Just agree. Who has seen the future? By the time you get out of the desert ruins, the plan will already be successful. At that time, even if this demonic spirit wanted to, he wouldn’t be able to do anything".
Hearing this, he nodded his head.
"Well, it’s decided then. Make sure you don’t forget what I said". Yun reminded.
"Hehe, now that we will travel together, let me introduce myself again" Tang Xun’er extended her hand and formally greeted him.
Given how vibrant and lively her aura was, it seemed that the girl was really bored and wanted a companion to travel with.
Yang Chen helplessly smiled and shook her hand. The girl’s vibrant aura seem to inject new energy into this world causing others to not help but have a good impression of her.
With that, the three of them made a team. Two humans and one demonic beast, how would fate play out?
At that moment, even Yang Chen had no idea how profoundly his destiny had been altered by this chance encounter with the lively girl. How his journey would change forever in ways that even he couldn’t comprehend.
Yang Chen and Tang Xun’er, the cogs of destiny that arrived at a new path as their two fates interwined. Only time can unravel these mysteries that are hidden under the veil of destiny.
The emergence of a great malevolence and the birth of the greatest villain the world has ever seen.

Amidst the endless expanse of shifting sands, lay the forgotten remnants of a once-great civilisation. The desert ruins stood as silent sentinels of bygone glory.
Time had worn away the grandeur of this forsaken city, leaving behind crumbling archways and crumbling pillars. The place which hadn’t seen any life for decades or even a millennia, was at this moment turned into a bustling hub of activity akin to a bazaar.
People from distant lands, drawn by rumours of a newly discovered ancient sect hidden within the ruins, converged upon this once desolate landscape, transforming it into a bustling marketplace of sights, sounds, and smells.
Stalls and makeshift tents dotted the roads of the place, their colourful canopies fluttering in the hot desert breeze.
Merchants set up their wares, enticing cultivators and passersby alike with glittering treasures and artefacts pitched to be able to make the practitioner multiple times stronger.
Of course, one needed to have a keen eye to distinguish between the phoney ones from the real treasures. The ones who bought the treasures believing the merchant were all scammed of their money.
Aside from that, there were also stalls full of food filling the air with exotic spices and and sizzling scent.
Not far away from the desert ruins, a vast expanse of flat land stretched out. Multiple carriages and air engines that bore the mark of Sky Eagle Guild, dotted the place. This open space served as a makeshift landing site for the air engines.
At this moment, a huge vessel dropped down, its powerful engines whirring as it slowly touched the ground, kicking up clouds of dust in its wake.
The metallic vessel settled with a gentle thud. When its cabin slowly opened, its passengers slowly emerged from within.
Among them strode a black robed figure, their confident demeanour betraying their shady appearance. By their side, walked another equally shady and hooded individual.
Though their features were covered up, thanks to the illumination of the setting sun, one could still see their sparkling eyes which were at this moment filled with curiosity and wonder as they looked around their surrounding.
The duo was none other than Yang Chen and Tang Xun’er who had just arrived at the desert ruins. As for Yun, to not attract any attention he had already returned to the pendant.
As people who were targeted, they made extra sure to change their appearance before exiting the Air Engine. As such, people like Bai Changfeng were unable to find them.
"We are finally here, the Desert Ruins" Tang Xun’er spoke excitedly. Her shimmering eyes scanned the place like a curious squirrel.
"Let’s enter the Desert Ruins. After that, we can go around while searching for information about the ancient sect that is rumoured to have surfaced here"
Yang Chen took charge and spoke. Unlike the girl he had some experience having travelled to a few places. As such, he knew what he should do first.
Naturally, the girl had no qualms with Yang Chen taking charge. She casually followed behind him and entered the desert ruins amidst the sea of people.
"Woah, there are so many people here!!" Tang Xun’er marvelled.
"Of course there is, don’t underestimate the allure of an ancient sect. Even the things that are considered trash by a sect that is said to be from the ancient times, are treasures for the people of the current era"
"Not to mention the inheritances left behind by them. If even one of them surfaces, its grade would be at the very least in the Heaven Tier. You can imagine now why people would go crazy to come here. These people have all come from faraway places in hopes of getting their hands on these treasures. After all, with some luck, if they could get hold of one, they would soar like a dragon and their future would be limitless"
Yun’s explanation rang out beside the ears of Yang Chen and Tang Xun’er.
