Intrigued, Yang Chen looked at the details of the skill.

Disadvantages— Powerful spiritual defences or magical wards can distort or block the practitioner’s vision. Moreover, the strain on one’s soul energy increases with the distance covered, requiring a skilled cultivator to balance the extent of their observation with their own energy reserves.

The skill had its own advantages and disadvantages. However, the thing that struck Yang Chen the most was the espionage part.

Concentrating his mind, he put all of his efforts into controlling the energy that was going berserk. Inside Yang Chen’s Soul Realm, cracks started appearing at the boundaries causing intense pain to rush through his entire body.

The surging soul energy was so berserk that if he did not control it well, it might just burst out and destroy his soul realm. Thus gritting his teeth, he endured the pain and protected his Soul realm.

Soon, sweat in the form of vapour, started protruding out from his body. This went on for a while before Yang Chen’s expression finally loosened. Being battered by the soul energy continuously, the soul realm started showing signs of expanding.

Around half a day later, he finally breathed out an air of relief and opened his eyes.

"Hmm... Perfect Stage Soul Purification realm, not bad" Amon appeared in front of him and commented "Just one more step and you will reach the Soul Condensation realm".

Yang Chen nodded his head, once he reached the Soul Condensation realm his soul cultivation would catch up with his battle cultivation level.

"How long have I been cultivating for?"...

"Ten days, if we count all the days you have been stuck here, then fourteen" Amon replied.

"It took that long huh, I wonder if anything changed in the outside world?" Fourteen days was long enough for many things to change. He wondered if the Yan Clan had stopped looking for him now that no news of him could be found anywhere.

The world before him transformed, turning into an ethereal realm. A soft, luminous glow surrounded objects and beings, making them translucent as if veiled by a faint mist.

Everything became permeable, revealing the hidden secrets beyond walls and structures. Colours became more vivid, and the contours of distant landscapes and forests were outlined by a subtle, otherworldly radiance.

The ethereal vision technique allowed him to discern details with uncanny precision, capturing scenes in intricate clarity as if he were standing at the very location he was observing.

Using his newly acquired battle skill, Yang Chen navigated through the landscape.

Increasing the completion rate of a High Tier Heaven Grade battle skill was easier said than done. He still had a lot to go and that was even after taking the tier 2 Endeavour pill which increased the training results, every day.

"Hmm, from what I could see from here, it looks like the Yan clan is nowhere near here. Did they stop looking for me after not being able to find any clues about me?" Yang Chen wandered seeing that there was no trace of humans anywhere near him.
