Chapter 194: Chapter 194- Yan Hong
In just two days, five out of the remaining seven bandit heads were killed, turning the fallen mountain range eerily silent like a cemetery.
As for the other two bandit heads, things didn’t go all according to Yang Chen’s plan. They were called back by the chieftains.
That’s right, on the tenth day of his arrival at the Fallen Mountain Range, the remaining two chieftains of the Iron Blood bandit had finally made their move. Since they knew that the intruder was specifically targeting the bandit’s heads, they called all the remaining ones back.
What’s more, they even pulled all of their forces near the heart of their main base which was deep inside the mountain range. It was a move made clearly to catch him.
If the intruder dares to instigate any trouble so close to their main camp, it would immediately alert the chieftains allowing them to react swiftly.
They thought that they had seen through his plan. Little did they know that Yang Chen was just aiming for that. Pulling all of their forces in one place was like creating the most ideal spot for grinding experience and mischief points.
It was just asking for Yang Chen to farm them. To harvest their exp, all it would take from him was one [Wave of Annihilation] and that would be it.
However, he was not in a hurry to farm them since he still had to increase the completion rate of all of his battle skills to the Intermediate and advanced stages.
The move made by the bandits was like hitting two birds with one stone. With them retreating back, it gave Yang Chen the perfect opportunity to train. Now he didn’t have to be constantly on the move and could give his all to his training.
.
.
Days passed by, on one day deep inside the Fallen Mountain Range, a man with a large build and donned in a black robe to cover his appearance, traversed through the forest and arrived before the Main Camp of the Iron Blood Bandits.
Immediately, he was surrounded and blocked by the bandits all around.
"Heh, the chieftains were right, the target really came to us themselves"
A bandit with a distinguishable aura than the rest of the bandits, spoke making his way over. With the way the other bandits were respectfully opening a path for him, it was clear that his position was quite high among the Iron Blood Bandits.
"Heh, you look somewhat strong... not bad. No wonder you were able to kill the other bandit heads like me. However, if you think that I’m like the others you have killed, then you are up for a surprise"
The bandit head spoke measuring the man in the robe.
"What do you mean?"
Just as the latter was about to speak, the sound of wind parting sounded out and a fist came attacking him.
The figure in the robe took a step back and effortlessly dodged the attack.
"What is the meaning behind this?" he asked looking at all the bandits glaring and smiling ruthlessly at him.
"Heh?! Trying to play the fool here huh? Did you really think we are that dumb? Stop fooling around and come at me seriously, I will crush you with all my strength and show the chieftains that there was no need to worry about an ant like you in the first place"
The bandit head roared and came charging at the man in the robe with one attack after another.
[Stone Splitting Axe Kick], [Mantis Claw], [Searing Fist]... all of them were low or mid tier Earth Grade Battle Skills.
Though in the hands of a Seven Star Battle Master, these skills were like lethal weapons capable of crushing boulders and causing all sorts of devastation.
Immediately, the ground around the two combatants was filled with crisscrossing cracks and shockwaves from battle energy that went wild.
Even after facing the fierce barrage of the bandit head, the robed man looked all unperturbed as ever. With how easily and with minimal movement they were dodging each attack, it looked like they weren’t taking it seriously.
Finally as if sick of dodging or perhaps tired of the bandit head’s annoying shout, the robed man caught the incoming fist and used the other party’s force against them. He lifted the guy up and slammed him hard on the ground.
BANG... the bandit coughed as all the air in his lungs was knocked out. He lay there on the ground with shock and disbelief plastered on his face. The other bandits were equally surprised.
Although they knew that the invader was strong as they managed to kill other bandit heads, they had never seen the intruder make a move themselves.
Everything they knew was from rumours as such, somewhere in the corner of their mind they were doubtful of the power of the intruder. They thought that the intruder was only good at using stealth and surprise attacks.
So when they saw the Bandit Head that they feared and respected to get manhandled like that, the terror that the name Phantom Killer from the rumours brought, resurfaced in their hearts once again.
"How can this be?! I am a Seven Star Battle Master, how can I lose to some nobody"
The bandit head roared in fury, unresigned by the fact that he lost in a direct head on fight, he rushed at the Black robed person once again.
However, the result was the same no matter how many times they tried. The latter tossed the burly bandit around like he were a sack of potatoes, smashing and tossing them around the ground.
"Give it up, you are not my match" the black robed man stated still as relaxed as ever.
Although he was giving the other party a chance, it didn’t seem like the Bandit Head was willing to listen. The fact that he made a fool of himself and was humiliated like that in front of all of his subordinates, caused all the blood in his body to flow in his head.
