"Keep doing what you have been doing up until now. Sooner or later, you will find all the information you need" Amon reassured.

Yang Chen did not think much, he used the shadow chains to jump from one tree to another like Tarzan and after arriving at a relatively secluded place, he started cultivating again.

Now that he saw how useful soul energy was, he was eager to train in it more and quickly reach the Soul Formation class. Of course, he did not forget to practice his battle skills, he trained them side by side.

By now almost all of his skills have reached the intermediate stage. Some of the skills he used often used like the [Great Napalm Command], [Thousand Shadow Chains], [Ghost Steps] and a few more, even reached the advanced completion stage.

The darkness of the night faded away, welcoming the dawn of another day. On the morning of the sixth day, his map caught the presence of multiple hostile presences drawing near.

Yang Chen opened his eyes feeling something off about this group. It was clearly another bandit group; however, the presence of this group caused the demonic beasts around this area to become quiet all of a sudden.

Yang Chen realised the reason, it was the presence of a certain man. Even when there was a lot of distance between them, Yang Chen could still feel the violent and brutish aura coming off from this man.

The killing intent was so thick that it scared all the demonic beasts away.

How much do you have to kill to have a killing aura like that? Yang Chen was not fazed, instead a wicked grin appeared on his face. His actions of leaving behind the bandit leaders finally paid off, a big shot finally came chasing after him just like Amon had predicted.

Given their aura, this man had to be a high ranking member among the bandits. Yang Chen was excited.

Over on the opposite side, Wuya Zhu led a group of twenty bandits as they searched the forest.

"Are you sure the intruder went this way?" he asked a bandit who was his right hand man.

"Yes chieftain, I heard from my subordinates that the Demonic Dholes around this part became agitated last night for some reason. Their growls could be heard even from the distance. I believe that the reason why the Demonic Dholes suddenly became aggressive is because of the intruders. They must have entered their territory thus causing a commotion among the demonic beasts".

Wuya Zhu mulled over what his subordinate said and thought that it made sense. He immediately ordered the group to search the area.

After they dispersed, he sat down on the ground and started absorbing the bloody aura released by his armour. Not long after, a bandit came reporting to him that they found the intruder.

"Hoh? That was fast. Are they even trying to hide? Anyways, how many of them are there? What are their strengths?".

At this question, the subordinate suddenly made a strange face and answered "There is only one of them. As for their strength, we do not have a clear estimate, they might be a Late Stage Battle Master".

"Just one?! Hmph, to dare to intrude on the territory of my Iron Blood bandits on their own, they are clearly looking down on us. Where is the intruder? Lead me to him".

The subordinate quickly led him across an intertwining path. They travelled for some time, crossing numerous territories of the demonic beasts.

"Are we still not there?" Wuya Zhu asked feeling a little suspicious.

The subordinate did not reply and continued to lead him into a secluded part of the forest. Finally, after some time, they arrived before a mountainous precipice that blocked their path forward.

There was no path ahead, it was a dead end.

"Why did you bring me here? Is the intruder ahead?".

The subordinate nodded his head and pointed ahead. There amidst the foliage, Wuya Zhu saw the silhouette of a figure hidden behind the trees. A bloodthirsty grin immediately appeared on his face.

’If they really are a Late Stage Battle Master, killing them will increase the bloody effect of my armour. At that time, reaching Two Star Battle Grandmaster rank will no longer be unrealisitic’ Wuya Zhu thought inside his head and patted the shoulders of the subordinate.

What he failed to notice was the weird expression the latter was making.

Wuya Zhu made his way towards the figure hiding behind the tree and turned his back on the subordinate.

"Oi... stop hiding, I know you are there" Wuya Zhu laughed, a strong bloody aura overflowed from his body. However, to his surprise, the other party did not react at all. They continued to hide behind the tree as if they couldn’t perceive his presence.

Frowning, he took a step forward when a splash sound came out. Looking down, Wuya Zhu noticed that the thing that made the splashing noise, was a red liquid... it was blood.

Just as he wandered where the blood came from, his instinct suddenly sent alarm bells to him and he hurriedly turned around.

At that very instant, a piercing noise of wind rang out followed by a powerful impact crashing against his body, causing him to fly back and crash into the cliff precipice.

BANG... deep spiderweb like cracks appeared on the wall and debris fell off from above.

Wuya Zhu spat a mouthful of blood, his vision becoming blurry for a second as he looked at what hit him. That impact earlier had broken some of his ribs and even knocked the air out of his lungs.

How could it be possible? He was a One Star Battle Grandmaster. Wuya Zhu glanced at his assailant only to be surprised to find that it was his subordinate.

No, it was not his subordinate, that face had suddenly morphed into an unfamiliar appearance.

From the corner of his vision, he suddenly noticed the figure hiding behind the tree. The person was his subordinate, they were lying on the ground, their back aligning against the tree.
