Just like the Battle Energy, Soul Energy has its own cultivation stages. A perfect stage Soul Formation cultivator can fight on par with a Nine Star battle Apprentice, an early stage Soul Purification can match up against one star Battle Master, a perfect stage against Nine Star Battle Master.

A Soul Condensation stage cultivator is comparable to a Battle Grandmaster practitioner and so on so forth.

Anyways, once Yang Chen fully forms a Soul Realm, he will reach the Soul Formation realm and become an Early Stage Soul Formation cultivator.

’An Early Stage Soul Formation cultivator who created their Soul Realm in just five days, what kind of shock it would create if the world knows about it’ Amon grinned as he thought in his head.

"Go on, try your newfound strength against them. These demonic beasts are mindless and have yet to achieve intelligence so your soul energy should have some effect on them. However, you have to forget about defeating them with your soul energy cultivation right now".

Yang Chen did not stand on ceremony and attacked. It was his intention anyway. Ever since he started cultivating soul energy and felt its mysteries, he became ever so excited to try it out.

For a while, the Demonic Dhole completely lost its mind and attacked its comrades around it. However, it soon regained its mind and gave a low growl.

Over on top of the boulder, Yang Chen grit his teeth as he felt his control over the Demonic Dhole break down causing him to suffer slight repercussions.

"How did it feel?" Amon asked, arms crossed behind their head.

"It’s completely different than battle energy. I feel like if I can master this energy I can do way more things with it. Even a battle energy cultivator will find it quite troublesome to deal with it" Yang Chen analysed.

He had only just embarked on the journey of cultivating soul energy, there was much progress to be made. Right now, his control over the soul energy was outright amateurish and was no different than a caveman throwing stones.

As could be seen, how easily the Demonic Dhole broke out from his control. If he wanted to make this energy a weapon, he needed to refine his control and cultivation to greater heights.

"Well that’s of course, soul energy is much more sophisticated and versatile, it can be applied to many things and applications" Amon responded in answer to his doubts.

"I see then do you think I should learn some more soul skills other than [Soul’s Timeless Archive]" Yang Chen asked getting carried away.

"No, there is no need for that. Soul Energy is already dreadful even without any soul skill. Once you completely master the Soul Foundation stage and reach the Soul Manifestation stage, you will understand what I mean".

He nodded his head, not disappointed at all. Instead, his expectation for the soul energy rose even more after what Amon said.

"To not even need soul skill to display its might, isn’t soul energy far superior to battle energy?"..

"Not necessarily, Battle Energy is much more explosive and volatile and extremely suitable for battle. Both energies have their own merits and demerits. Anyways, what are you going to do about the Demonic Dholes? Even if you defeat them, they won’t provide much experience"

Amon pulled Yang Chen who was drifting away in his thoughts back at the situation at hand.

"I know, I allowed them to find me because I wanted to try soul energy on them. Now that I know it’s not strong enough to bring them down, there is no need for me to tangle with them"

Right after saying that, Yang Chen used the [Traceless Shadow Advent] and completely removed his presence and scent. After that, he jumped into the forest and disappeared. Even the Demonic Beast were unable to track him.

Using the [Map] and his many movement and stealth skills Yang Chen had been hiding in the fallen mountain range for the past five days. During this time, he had attacked and avoided numerous bandit groups, his activity and action had already reached the higher ups of this place.

By now, all the bandits in the Fallen Mountain Range knew that someone had intruded into their territory and was hunting them. However, none of them were able to catch him or know about his activity or actions.

As the news of intrusion became more and more widespread, many bandits came chasing him. Of course, Yang Chen had deliberately created a situation like that. He was trying to lure a high ranking bandit to him.

During his time here, he had interrogated many bandits and probed their souls with his soul skill. However, none of them had the information he needed. He was only able to find very little about this place.

What he knew was that the big shots around here, were deep inside the Fallen Mountain Range, beyond those mountains. The main camp of the bandits was also located there.

But since he did not know anything about their strength or numbers, he did not dare to attack their main base recklessly.

"Just like I thought, these underlings won’t do. Isn’t there any bossman or the right hand man who clearly knows a lot about this place?" Yang Chen muttered to himself. His face disappointed as he extracted the memories of another bandit leader.

Just like always, he killed the rest of the group and left the bandit leader whose mind had been turned into a vegetative state alive.

"Don’t worry, just do as I say. If you continue to leave those bandit leaders like that, sooner or later a big shot is bound to come after you".
