Chapter 181: Chapter 181- Three Chieftains of the Iron Blood Bandits
Yang Chen had already started using the soul skill and was currently busy extracting the information he needed.
"Aaarggghhh!!" the air around him vibrated and a piercing scream echoed out from the bandit.
The latter’s screams which was like a symphony of agony, was drowned out by the howls of the distant demonic beasts.
It did not take much time for the screams of the bandit leader to die down and a hollow look appeared on his face.
Yang Chen released his hold on the bandit whose mind had been turned into a vegetative state by him and made all kinds of expressions.
"What did you find out?" Amon flew over and asked.
"Not much, I was only able to glance into his mind for a short period of time and before I could find any relevant information, the link was destroyed and my consciousness was repelled back"
Yang Chen answered, this was the reason why he was making all kinds of faces.
"Well, it’s not surprising. You have yet to start training your soul energy and form a Soul realm. The soul energy that you currently possess is insufficient. And besides your mastery over the soul skill also needs to be improved. There is much progress to be made. Kuku... do you feel like giving up now?" Amon teased.
Yang Chen did not say much, he simply shook his head and smiled fiercely. He knew that the other party was teasing him and besides he was prepared to train in soul cultivation no matter what.
He was like a kid who had found something interesting.
After searching the bandit leader’s body for any loot, Yang Chen quickly left the place.

Five days later, deep inside the Fallen Mountain Range, a valley that was overlooked by numerous tall mountains could be seen.
At the deepest depth of the valley, a crude base was set up, a huge beast carcass was lined up in front of a big fireplace. Numerous people could be seen around the fire, laughing and drinking.
All of them carried a ruthless and brutish aura. It was clear with just a look that these people were not good people. Inside one of the largest tents, three people sat side by side, all of them released a violent and bloodthirsty aura.
At this moment all three of them had their eyes closed as they silently cultivated when a hurried footstep sounded out and a person walked in.
"Greetings three chieftains"
The man spoke and hurriedly cupped his hands. He stood there bowing for a while; however, the three people in front of him did not say a word. Even then, the man did not dare to utter another word or move from his place.
That was because the ones in front of him were the three chieftains of the Fallen Mountain Range and the leaders of all the bandits. The man knew his place, he was just an underling under them.
It was only after a while did the person on the left opened his eyes. His gaze which carried an oppressive pressure landed on the underling until he could not even breathe.
He was decked out in a red armour that gave off a bloody scent and had a huge scar on his left eye. He was one of the three chieftains, Wuya Zhu the Crow Lord.
"Did you find the reason behind the deaths of so many bandit leaders?" Wuya Zhu asked the kneeling man.
The other party hurriedly nodded his head and reported "It appears that an intruder entered the Fallen Mountain Range. They have been killing the bandits and using some kind of skills on the leaders to turn them into a vegetative state. Clearly, they have some kind of motive behind coming here"...
"Hoh? Did you find out how many they are and where they are hiding?"
The Fallen Mountain Range was very vast, spanning for tens of thousands of kilometres. It had numerous dangerous demonic beasts and tall trees and foliage. If someone wanted to hide here, it would be very easy.
It was also the reason why the bandits had occupied the Fallen Mountain range. The underling bandit shook his head, not daring to look at Wuya Zhu.
"It has been five days since the intruders entered our land. Quickly find them before I run out of patience" Wuya Zhu stated, his tone contained fury.
"Y-Yes" After bowing one more time, the subordinate exited the tent.
"Wuya Zhu... what do you think of the skill that this subordinate mentioned?" At this moment the other two chieftains also opened their eyes.
The one to speak was the man on the right. Just like Wuya Zhu, he was also donned in a blood red armour that pulsed with a bloody light. However, unlike the others he had no scar on his left eye instead, he had a long scar that ran horizontally through his nose. He was Feng Kang, the vulture lord.
"I have seen those bandit leaders, they have been turned into a cripple, but there are no external injuries. To be able to turn one into a vegetative state it must be a high grade battle skill" Wuya Zhu answered.
They were only bandits, as such they did not know that it was the doing of a soul skill and not a battle skill.
"Hmm... this skill interests me quite a bit. Its also surprising that the other party is hiding inside our territory and has not been found yet"
Feng Kang muttered, his voice turned grim at the end of his sentence. he turned to look at the man seated in the middle and asked "Elder brother do you think the invaders are from that place?".
Although he did not say the name of the place, Wuya Zhu and the man in the middle knew which place he meant.
"My relationship with the deacon from that clan can be said to be good. If that clan or any other faction was trying to target us, he would definitely notify me after all, we pay a huge amount of tribute to him every year"
The man in the middle spoke. He was the strongest chieftain out of three and the other two had to call him elder brother. His name was Wu Zhong, the Eagle Lord.
