Yang Chen did as he was told and released the skill. Immediately afterwards, all the sounds that were barred from entering this place returned back.

Sounds of fire burning, buildings collapsing in ruins, members screaming in agony as they lay on their deathbeds, all kinds of noise flooded in making all the elders in the hall to blank out for a second.

Although most of them did look haggard and injured especially the fifth elder who was the weakest among the elders. Being just a Two Star Battle Master, he was gravely injured after getting caught up in the fury of his clan leader.

"Clan leader please calm down, if you rouse your battle energy to this extent, you will cause the poison..." The second elder tried to calm the former down, however...

"How can you still say that after seeing the condition of our Zhang clan?" Zhang Zhehan roared.

The condition of the Zhang clan was in ruins, with all of their buildings and territory destroyed.

With smoke rising everywhere, mansions and courtyards lay in ruins, flames still danced amidst the wreckage, screams of agony and fear echoed through the air.

The once stately Zhang clan estate now seemed like a battlefield. Seeing this scene the elders stood rooted in their place in shock and disbelief at the devastation around them, unable to comprehend how their once thriving clan had been reduced to such ruin.

"What in the heavens just happened?" one of the elders stammered, his voice full of confusion.

Just until a few moments ago, they were peacefully discussing inside the hall; however, the second they came out, a scene of destruction greeted them.

"Who did this to our clan? Who dares to attack my Zhang clan?" The hot tempered third elder, Zhang Zhao barked gnashing his teeth in fury. Everywhere he saw, fire was raging, buildings broken and clan members lay dead.

"Clam down third elder, this is definitely the doing of the enemy?" The second elder who was able to keep calm even in the midst of this pandemonium, observed the devastation and arrived at a conclusion.

He pointed at the young man who barged in their territory and spoke "It is certain now that he was sent here by the enemies to keep us busy while they destroyed our clan".

"What?! How can this brat..."

"Think about it, the fourth elder is missing and this brat knows about the secret mission. Given all this evidence it is clear that the circumstance of our clan has been leaked. There is no way the Lin and Xiao would sit back on this opportunity"

"They sent him first to distract us while they destroyed our clan. He has the perfect battle skill for that, even the clan leader said earlier, that he clearly did something around the clan hall. If he has some kind of unusual battle skill, it would make sense that we were unable to notice anything. This brat, he deceived us all. His presence here was a ruse prepared by the other two clans. They played us for fools!".

The Second Elder thought that this was the doing of the enemy clans. After all, it was much easier to believe than to think that the massacre was the work of a young man who did not look more than fourteen years old.

Yang Chen didn’t know whether to call the second elder sharp or dull. Although he was able to guess that it was his doing, his deductions were only half correct. The massacre was all his doing, there was no involvement of other clans here.

Amon sneered at the oblivious elders. Their entire estate was destroyed by Yang Chen yet they had no clue of it.

From their outburst earlier, he realised that Zhang Zhehan was at the very peak of the Nine Star Battle Master stage, on the verge of breaking through. If he was not careful, he would really get hurt even with the safeguards Amon made him prepare before coming here.

Fortunately for him, they all seem to be underestimating him and thinking he was a mole sent by the other two clans.

"There doesn’t seem to be the presence of the other clans being anywhere near. Just to be sure I will go forward and search for them ahead, they shouldn’t have gone far. I will find them and make them pay for what they did to our clan no matter what. Elders quickly seize that brat and join me afterwards"

Zhang Zhehan did not dilly dally any longer and left the place in a hurry.

"We shall do as per the clan leader’s orders" All the elders nodded their heads in affirmation. This was an unprecedented disaster for their clan, one that needed them to respond immediately.

"Third Elder, Fifth Elder I ask of you to work together to capture this young man immediately" The Second Elder being the person with the greatest authority at the current moment, handed out orders.
