"If you are done then sit down. We still have other pressing issues that we need to discuss" The clan leader Zhang Zhehan indicated for the third elder to sit down before moving on to question the fifth elder.

"Fifth elder, what happened to the spies that were sent by the other two clans?".

"Clan leader, we caught two spies from Lin and Xiao clan today. They were dressed as peddlers. Needless to say, we swiftly dealt with them before they could learn anything. However, it is not just the other two clans, the people of the Cloud City are also starting to get curious about the situation in our Zhang clan".

"Closing off our borders, restricting all entry, purchasing out all the medicines from the shop—our actions these past few days are just too eye catching. I don’t know how long we can keep the facade"

The fifth elder reported. Everybody had a grave expression plastered on their face. This situation cannot continue, they could silence any leaks for the time being; however, sooner or later the news was bound to get out.

The two people who were picked out to carry out this mission were his subordinates. As such, he knew how capable they were.

"What wrong clan leader?" Noticing his peculiar actions, the elders too followed his gaze and looked at the direction their clan leader was glancing at. However, other than the empty hall, there seemed to be nothing unusual there.
