As she teetered on the edge of her life, memories from her time in the Lin clan surged through her mind. Amongst those memories, an image emerged—the person she detested the most, the one who had caused her so much pain.

The mere thought of his heartless presence made her heart ache for some reason. Why would she remember him at the end of her life? There was no way that heartless person would make a move, it was clear from his behaviour.

As Lin Huiyin’s consciousness wavered and she was about to be consumed under the might of the three powerful skills targeting her, a gentle breeze brushed against her tear-streaked face.

Immediately afterwards, the very air around her ignited in a blaze of powerful pale blue flames, casting an ethereal glow that illuminated the entire battlefield, stopping the three formidable battle skills just before they could reach their intended target.

The flames did not harm her, instead it protected and created a layer of wall around her.

"As I thought so, you are too weak. I got bored watching, it’s time to switch players again" An egotistical voice filled with over the top confidence, interjected.

"Hoh?! That is quite the skill. To be able to stop that sword image, the battle skill that girl executed is at least of a High Tier Sky Grade" Amon commented watching Lin Huyin perform the [Blossoling Petal Dance].

"is that battle skill that good?" It was rare for Amon to compliment a battle skill as such, it couldn’t help but pique Yang Chen’s curiosity.

Amon nodded and replied "Of course it is, it is not just good, but impressive. If I’m not wrong, the [Whirlling Lotus] that girl displayed is just one of the parts of the actual battle skill. The real name of that battle skill is the [Resplendant Lotus Cascade], a mystic grade battle skill".

"What?!" Yang Chen who was leaning on his seat, straightened his back, surprised by those words.

It was to be expected, a Mystic Grade was the highest grade for a battle skill. It was so powerful that it was impossible for the current Yang Chen to even imagine the sort of might it could display.

"I see, but still if they had a High Tier Sky Grade why didn’t they offer it when making a deal with me that time? That damn Lin Mang, he never mentioned about this skill" Yang Chen grumbled.

When he made the deal to protect Lin Huyin during the test, the elder had shown him three battle skills all of which were of the Low Tier Sky Grade.

Although Lin Mang said that he could only learn one of them if he agrees to their deal, Yang Chen had nevertheless leveraged the advantage of his system to sneakily learn all three of the battle skills the Lin clan regarded as their treasure.

However, the battle skill [Whirlling Lotus] was never shown or mentioned by him.
