’Yang Chen!!!’ with eyes blazing in hatred, Lin Dan screamed in his heart and made a tight fist. That moment when he was turned into a cripple, was deeply etched onto his heart along with those words that Yang Chen had spoken to him.

"You pathetic fool, you can’t even handle a single Nine Star Battle Apprentice? Get lost, this place is not for you. There is no way I will help a person, who will only get in my way".

’Yang Chen just you wait. You refused to help me right? Then I will make sure that you don’t get any better off than me. I will tell everyone that you are the one who attacked me and have the elders fail you’.

In his anger, Lin Dan was completely blaming Yang Chen. He planned to make the latter the perpetrator behind his accident, oblivious to the fact that the elders already knew everything and that it would simply be a fool’s errand on his part.

Though before Lin Dan could open his mouth to say anything, his plans were completely shattered by the following words that the elders stated.

"To not know about the Holy Orchard Academy’s entrance test, must mean that he is unlikely from this region or from this province"..

"Could it be that he came from the capital or perhaps from one of those clans?" the two elders discussed.

Han Xuan mused for a while before asking Lin Mang another question.

"Lin Mang you said that he came to your auction house to exchange demonic beast carcasses right? Can you tell me what kind of beasts they were?".

"Of course, Elder. He came to our auction house to exchange the carcasses of the Black Barghest".

As Lin Mang began recounting his meeting with Yang Chen and the transaction they made, all observing eyes seemed to have become widened in surprise. The more they heard, the more astonished they became.

Hunting Battle Master class beasts and that too tens of them, what kind of ability did it take? For Lin Huiyin and Lin Dan, it was a shock of their life.

Yang Chen was just around their age yet he was already so adept in hunting and defeating demonic beasts. This was a feat that they who have grown under the protection of their clan, could never even imagine.

Compared to the two of them, the shock in the eyes of the elders was even greater after all, they had much more knowledge and experience than these youths. As such, they were both shocked and in awe of Yang Chen’s accomplishment.

A Black Barghest was already difficult to kill with even the youngling being of at least two or Three Star Battle Master class. Not to mention an adult was even higher in level. The Demonic Beast was not only an adept predator but they also had excellent hiding and tracking ability.

To have the ability to hunt not one but tens of them while just being a Two star Battle Master class, one would need not only exceptional situation awareness, but also excellent decision making and mental fortitude to move in a forest wrought with demonic beasts.

How could they not be in awe of that ability? What’s more, Yang Chen was only around fourteen years old yet he was already such an adept hunter.

Additionally, given the fact that a Black Barghest could only be found inside the inner region of the Star Fall jungle, it meant that he had delved inside the deeper regions of the jungle and he had also lived there for some time to hunt that many.

"Monster" one of the elders muttered. He couldn’t be blamed, after all, compared to the other geniuses like Yan Zhuo and Lin Huiyin, he was just in a totally different class. There couldn’t be any other term more appropriate for him.

"Elders" Han Xuan looked at the other two elders beside him who nodded their heads arriving at the same thought process.

"Yeah, no matter what, we needed to admit a talent like him into our academy. His future is limitless". All the elders had a completely serious face.

So what if Yang Chen had an unknown origin, in front of his talent all of this matter not. Now even if the person himself refused to join their academy, the elders would not give up easily.

As time passed by, all the participants came out of the tower with only two people still remaining inside. Soon after, one of the two figures also descended down and exited the tower.

The person wearing exquisite clothes and emitting a noble aura was none other than Yan Zhuo. As soon as he came out of the tower, he saw all eyes focus on him.

As someone who had made quite the scene during his appearance, how could the crowd forget him so easily? Everyone remembered him as the participant who was made an exception for by even the elders.

They were sure that he was going to be announced the winner of this year’s entrance test.

The crowd started settling down, waiting for the elders to announce the result. However, when they saw the elders still remaining silent, they couldn’t help but glance at the tower and wonder if there was still a participant remaining inside.

Minutes passed by and the entire place was abuzz with whispers and murmurs going all around. Everybody was curious as to why the elders were still not moving.

Just when everybody was making their assumptions, a figure walked out of the tower and stretched his body ignoring the crowd watching him.

After relaxing his sore muscles and inhaling a few deep breaths of fresh air, the figure then placed his attention on the crowd. It didn’t take him much time to spot a couple of familiar figures standing at the front of the crowd.

"Brat, you are finally out huh? Speak about causing us unnecessary worries" Han Xuan smilingly commented after the figure approached them, his eyes looking at the youth in satisfaction.

Who could this figure, who had all eyes upon him be other than Yang Chen? The latter scratched his head and came up with a random excuse on the spot.

"Well, it’s good that you are back. Now we can announce the result..."
