The pure infernal energy poured inside Simon’s body in droves and soon formed a small whirlpool around him. This whirlpool was like a devouring maw of a beast as it quickly sucked all the energy from the seventh floor.

After it emptied out the infernal energy from the seventh floor, its suction force became stronger and it started pulling the energy from the floors below.

This caused an unnatural phenomenon inside the Infernal Battle tower that could be seen even from the outside.

Outside the tower, the Elders were busy discussing something.

"Hmm, this girl is also not bad. If we discount Yang Chen and Yan Zhuo, her talent is the best out of all the participants this year" Elder Han Xuan commented caressing his beard. His eyes were looking at the crystal that was displaying a delicate young girl with pristine white clothes, diligently cultivating.

It was not only him, the other elders and even Zhou Tong nodded their heads at his assessment.

"Her talent is not bad even when compared to my disciple. If I hadn’t found Yan Zhuo, I might have snatched her from you guys to make her my disciple... Hahaha" Zhou Tong laughed.

For him to give such a high praise to someone, one could imagine the talent the girl displayed in the orb had.

"Hmph... Zhou Tong, you might have connections to the capital and your strength might be higher than mine. However, you are, after all, an individual. A talent like this girl will only rot in your hands. Compared to that, our Holy Orchard Academy is much more confident in raising and making her potential bloom" Han Xuan snorted with a slight smirk on his face.

"Heh is that so? It looks like you all are not content even after taking in my disciple and that freak named Yang Chen... hahaha" being old friends, Zhou Tong did not mind the former’s comment and instead laughed with him.

It was only natural for them to fight over her after all, the talent that this girl had shown was that great.

An unbelievable sight was currently unfolding outside the tower. A vast amount of infernal energy was leaking out through the walls of the tower and entering the topmost floor. The intense trembling of the tower was also due to this unusual phenomenon.

"What is going on?" The elder couldn’t help but mutter, slack jawed.

As unbelievable as the scene was, it really was happening. The Infernal battle tower was behaving so bizarrely. Even they as Elders didn’t know what was going on.

"All the infernal energy within the tower, is moving up for some reason" Elder Han Xuan observed. His brows were deeply locked in consternation as he glanced at the topmost floor.

’Could it be due to Yang Chen?’ That was the floor where Yang Chen had gone to. Reaching the Seventh floor was an unprecedented event, he didn’t know what was on that floor, and as such, he couldn’t help connect this unusual phenomenon with Yang Chen.

"This... something like this has never happened before. Elder Han Xuan should we terminate the exam? The participants might get engulfed in some danger because of the unusual behaviour of the Infernal battle tower" The Elders debated.

There was no way of knowing what triggered that kind of bizarre behaviour. As such, it was better to terminate the exam before anything untoward happened to these young talents who were the future pillar of this empire.

In any case, they have already seen the capability of all the participants and know who are the ones who are going to pass this exam. Hence there was no meaning to continue this exam by risking the lives of the participants.

Terminating the exam here would be the best choice of option, the only regretful thing would be that the benefit that the participants would reap, will get cut in half.

Han Xuan weighed his options for a while, just when he was about to nod his head, a voice interjected.

"There is no need for that"

It was Zhou Tong, unlike the panicking elders, he appeared to be much more calm about this whole situation.

What’s more, he is on the sixth floor, the pressure and heat of the infernal energy there is so high that even the slightest disturbance might cause irreversible damage. Do you not care what happens to your disciple?" the elders questioned.

Han Xuan on the other hand was more level headed, he knew the other party well enough to know that he would never say or do anything that would endanger the life of his disciple.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked calmly.

Zhou Tong did not answer them, instead, he pointed at the device on the table and gestured for them to watch.
