"You monster" Lin Huiyin muttered to herself seeing that Yang Chen really did not feel any discomfort. Instead, he did as he told and was leisurely strolling around the fourth floor.

It was only now that she realised the guy that elder Lin Mang brought, was not so simple. His talent might really be monstrous.

"As I thought that guy is not here" Yang Chen muttered under his breath.

The guy he was talking about was of course Yan Zhuo, the star participant who even the elders made an exception for.

Lin Huiyin looked at Yang Chen and declared. Her face seemed a lot less cold than usual. "I can see that you wish to head up. Since that is the case you should proceed. I will be fine by myself".

Yang Chen was silent as he observed Lin Huiyin. The girl who always gave him a cold shoulder and who used to glare at him with the eyes of a lioness, suddenly became all meek and girly since the moment they climbed to the fourth floor.

What was going on? Was it him or did this girl change all of a sudden?

Yang Chen shook his head, it did not matter. Now that even Lin Huiyin was urging him to proceed to the next floor, all hesitation within him disappeared and he decided to climb the tower.

"Are you sure?" he asked for confirmation for the last time.

Lin Huiyin nodded her head and told him to go ahead, she will soon catch up to him. Seeing the firey competitiveness in her eyes, Yang Chen did not say anything further and proceeded forward.

Looking at his departing back, Lin Huiyin flashed a complicated expression and muttered to herself.

"How far can you climb? Will you reach the top floor? I cannot help but look forward to it".

Yang Chen proceeded towards the centre of the floor. On his way, he felt the stares of all the participants on him. They were all watching him, wanting to see if he could climb to the fifth floor.

For them, the infernal flames on the fourth floor was already too much for them to endure, as such they did not dare to climb any further. It also was unclear if they even had the ability to climb higher, as the pathway to the fifth floor was covered in a layer of intense infernal flames that made them feel intimidated just by looking at it.

They felt like they would burst out in flames if they so much as touched it. The wall of infernal flames around the pathway, was like a barrier stopping anyone unworthy from climbing higher.

That said, it didn’t daunt all the participants. There was this one guy who easily managed to enter the flame wall and climbed higher. Following him, a few other participants also tried to climb higher.

However, they were all stopped by that flame barrier and forced to cultivate on this floor.

The rules of the tower stated that as long as they reached the fourth floor and cultivated there till the end of the day, they would pass. The participants could also try to climb higher; however, elder Han xuan had told them to be aware of their limits and not to overextend just to eat a loss.
