The Greatest Disciple of the Evil Sect -
Chapter 106- Yan Zhuo
Chapter 106: Chapter 106- Yan Zhuo
The rules were fairly simple, you just need to reach the fourth floor and cultivate there till the end of the day. However, the latter half of Elder Han Xuan’s words scared all those participants and geniuses of the clans.
What did it mean to have one’s cultivation base destroyed? It meant that one would be unable to forever cultivate and become a cripple for the rest of their life.
If you cannot endure it, there is no shame to leave the floor or the tower. These words from Edler Han Xuan... wasn’t it indirectly saying that there would be some people who would be unable to even endure the first floor?
Gulping sounds could be heard from all around the crowd. The entrance test hadn’t even begun yet the tension was already so palpable.
After giving some time for the crowd to digest his words, Elder Han Xuan continued
"Furthermore, I would like to add that there are no rules restricting anyone from fighting inside. Just like the previous entrance test, you are free to act however way you want. In a battle, injuries are rather unavoidable but I would like to remind all the participants that this is an entrance test after all, going too overboard would only sully your own reputation. It is never good to go too far".
"I have said everything that I need, any further words are pointless. I wish good luck to all the participants. The entrance test starts... now!!"...
"Please wait!!"
Just when Elder Han Xuan was about to declare the start of the test, a hurried voice sounded out from the distance and two figures appeared like a ghost in the backlines.
One was a middle aged man with short hair and gaudy red robes, the other was a handsome young man around fifteen or sixteen years old. He was dressed in light armour and gave off a warm friendly aura.
They were in the backlines for a moment when they suddenly disappeared and appeared at the front of the crowd.
They even ignored the local tyrant clans of the surrounding regions and acted as if they owned the place. Naturally, the clans in the front did not view this display in a good way and a commotion seemed inevitable when Elder Han Xuan spoke once again.
"Creating troubles like this... Zhou Tong, this is not your Yan city, you do realise that don’t you?".
"Haha, my bad. I was just making my disciple over here go through some real life experiences in the Star Fall jungle where we lost track of time. I hope that Han Xuan doesn’t mind our tardiness. I also apologise to the other clans"
The middle aged man who was referred to as Zhou Tong by Elder Han Xuan, smiled towards the crowd. His disciple too followed his actions and did the same causing the local tyrant clans to no longer be able to pursue it anymore.
However, this was not important anymore. Elder Han Xuan whose presence was enough to even give them a sense of dread, had just mentioned the Yan city.
The people from that city would naturally not put clans like them in their eyes after all, the Yan city was the biggest city and the main hub of the entire Great Yan Province.
In terms of power, wealth, and influence, the clans over there were far superior to the likes of the Zhang clan from a remote cloud city. As such, they could only swallow down this frustration less they angered this person from the Yan City.
When Elder Han Xuan heard what Zhou Tong said, he placed his attention on the youth beside him and couldn’t help but reveal a pleasant smile.
"Hoh, are you saying that you want your disciple to participate in the Holy Orchard Academy’s entrance test?" Han Xuan asked in confirmation.
"That right" Zhou Tong nodded his head before adding "About the entrance document...".
"You don’t have to worry about that" Elder Han Xuan waved his sleeves making an exception. He looked towards the youth and asked "Brat, what’s your name?".
"Yan Zhuo" the youth mentioned. Although he said it calmly, his voice involuntarily carried an inborn pride and haughtiness.
"Yan Zhuo!!" the moment he mentioned his name, the other two elders who were standing there silently suddenly opened their eyes wide. Even Elder Han Xuan was not an exception.
"Could it be that he is from the..." When the latter was about to accidentally reveal something, Zhou Tong hurriedly interjected.
"Although it might be asking too much, but can I ask Han Xuan to keep this a secret?".
Han Xuan shifted his gaze between the master and disciple before sighing out loud.
"Alright, but I can’t guarantee that the elders at the inner academy won’t dig into the origins of your disciple".
"Haha, you don’t have to worry about that, I have already talked about this matter with that old man headmaster of yours. As such, it wouldn’t be a problem".
It looked like the origins of this young man named Yan Zhuo was quite unique even the elders were a little shaken. Nevertheless, they did not reject Zhou Tong’s Disciple and allowed him to participate in the entrance test.
Needless to say, they discussed all this in a voice that only they could hear. Therefore, Yang Chen and the crowd who were down below had no idea what they were talking about.
That being said, Yang Chen’s attention wasn’t on their conversation but on the youth wearing bright red clothes, following behind that middle aged man.
Even though the other party was suppressing their strength, from the faint aura that leaked from them, Yang Chen felt a powerful suppression. This told him that there was a large power gap between them.
As if to confirm his suspicions, Lin Mang who was a One Star Battle Man rank practitioner also felt that difference.
"You three be careful of that young man. Do not approach him carelessly" he uttered. His voice was as serious as it could be thus none of them made light of his words.
Lin Dan and even Lin Huiyin nodded their heads in understanding.
