The latter knew very well why the other party came here. It was not only to scout the competition, but also to let the two participants from their clan to know how the daughter of the Lin clan leader looked like so that they can interfere in her test later.

As time passed by, more and more clans arrived at the front of the stone pedestal. The Xiao clan who was one of the three big clans of the cloud city alongside Zhang and Lin clan, also paid them a visit.

Of course, their hidden motive was to scout out the competition and check whether the rumours were true.

BOOM... Just as the sun hung in the middle of the sky, the ash grey tower released a powerful pressure that shook the very sky.

After they picked themselves back, they all looked at the ash grey tower in fear before giving up and retreating.

"Hmm, it looks like there are more clans this time that were able to meet the criteria" Right after that shocking event, a voice that carried a mighty pressure, sounded out like a rumbling of the thunder.

Three old men with greying hair and notable clothes, appeared on top of the stone pedestal like a ghost. Even Yang Chen who was paying close attention to his surroundings, couldn’t tell when they appeared there.

"They are the elders of the outer academy of the Holy Orchard Academy" Lin Mang explained with a hushed voice, clearing the doubts he had in his mind.

Just their arrival caused a formless pressure to descend onto the place and cease all murmuring. From this, one could imagine the strength of these elders.

Yang Chen who was a Two Star Battle Master, had never felt this kind of pressure from anyone before.

The three elders overlooked the crowd from the stone pedestal and nodded their heads. Next, as if they had already agreed on this before, they all took out a seal simultaneously and pointed it towards the door of the ash grey tower.

CLICK... CLANG... some kinds of gears clicking could be heard and the huge door of the tower slowly opened.

The moment the door was opened, a powerful energy fluctuation came from inside the tower and like a battering ram hit the clans standing below the stone pedestal.

Everyone, no matter which clan or which region they came from, were all forced to take a few steps back and only then were they able to compose themselves.

Though the majority of that force was offset by the three elders who created a barrier around the tower.

"The Infernal Battle tower is opened, the entrance test will start now" The elder in the middle stated, their bodies which were maintaining the barrier around the tower, levitated half a foot above the ground.

Seeing that the Infernal Battle tower had finally stabilised, they turned towards the crowd and addressed.

"Everyone, I’m Han Xuan, you may call me Elder Han Xuan. With regards to passing the entrance test, the participants need to enter the tower. There are not many rules. Whoever can reach the fourth floor of the tower and can cultivate there till the end of the day, will be considered to have passed the test".

"Of course, if you want you climb higher, you are more than welcome to try your luck. This Infernal Battle Tower has a total of seven floors. However, as a word of caution, I would like to inform all the participants to know their limits. Often going overboard and ignoring one’s limit would do you more harm than benefit".

"The energy inside the Infernal battle tower is very tyranical, if you are not careful, your entire cultivation might get destroyed.
