Chapter 451: Chapter 450: Slaughter of the Cannibal Tribe

It seemed to ponder for a moment before agreeing, "Okay".

The massive horde of zombies then changed direction, heading straight for the territory of the Cannibal Tribe.

As night was drawing near, the horde swept across the vast wasteland as silently as locusts invading crops.

Yang Yichu hadn’t made any effort to conceal his presence, and the adversary’s Spiritual Ability User detected the large group of zombies approaching swiftly.

Su Mo, leveraging her astonishing vision, spotted several people with faces painted in oil but with expressions of sheer terror.

She had felt since the morning that these people would someday become a menace, and now, fortunately, she could resolve this problem.

With the help of memory alone, she quickly directed Yang Yichu to their gathering place.

Barriers had been erected around the hospital’s perimeter early on, and the small buildings along the nearby streets were crammed with people ready to attack at any moment.

A middle-aged man, who had been preparing to flee upon receiving the news, stood on the roof of the hospital. Next to him, a subordinate with a face of horror exclaimed, "That monster, the woman on its shoulder, why does she look so familiar!"

Su Mo very ’coincidentally’ noticed his gaze as well. She frowned, thinking they might be planning to flee directly. Did that mean there were still reserves of fuel in that helicopter?

She turned her head and said to Yang Yichu, "Can you go into the hospital and bring those people down?"

"Listen to sister’s orders," Yang Yichu replied, his lips twisting into a stiff smile. The grey spiritual power that Su Mo couldn’t see danced wildly in the air. Quickly, several zombies with speed superpowers emerged from the mob, climbing the ruined walls of the hospital on all fours.

They ascended to the height of several stories in just a few blinks of an eye.

"Let them attack! Attack!" the middle-aged man finally panicked, yelling into the walkie-talkie and stepping back, as numerous people positioned themselves in front of him.

All those hidden in the buildings swarmed to the windows, unleashing a barrage of superpowers and bullets on the zombies below.

Su Mo sat calmly because she realized the giant zombie she was on had such an exceptionally high defensive power that she let it run around with her on its back, even if it only had one arm left. It could precisely catch superpowers or claw its way to the front of a building, and in the terrified eyes of the Cannibal Tribe inside, pull them all out.

Below Su Mo, the ground became a river of blood, a gruesome scene of countless Cannibal Tribe bodies being torn apart and devoured.

She watched indifferently; in her eyes, these people deserved to die, and she believed they should experience the despair of those innocent people who had been eaten by their own kind.

The scene was an overwhelming victory in terms of numbers.

At the top of the hospital, which was on the verge of being overrun, the middle-aged man launched Thunder Strikes again and again, but the number of zombies seemed to be endless. Soon, batches of zombies stormed into the hospital, heading straight for the rooftop.

"Boss, why are all these zombies converging here! Aren’t they mindless!!"

"That woman!"

The middle-aged man’s face was sullen, filled with panic. He couldn’t understand how a human woman could control a horde of zombies.

"Run! To the helicopter! Quick! Run!"

Su Mo frowned and said, "They’re trying to escape."

"Sister, do you hate them?"

"They almost ate me, what do you think?" Su Mo raised an eyebrow.

Yang Yichu indeed became as angry as she had anticipated; the zombies’ movements directly became twice as fast.

The number of zombies climbing the outer walls of the hospital grew even more, appearing dense and numerous, the scene was spectacular.

"Don’t destroy that helicopter," she added another sentence, then pulled her gaze closer to watch the middle-aged man’s futile struggles, watched as he was pulled from the helicopter by pair after pair of pitch-black claws, watched as his thigh was torn apart, and his head was twisted off by a zombie that was petite in stature but incredibly fast, and presented it in front of Yang Yichu.

It handed the middle-aged man’s head to Su Mo, stumbling over its words, "Gift."

With bloodshot eyes and a tongue hanging out of its twisted face, Su Mo scoffed with mockery, deftly dug out a Level 6 Thunder Element Crystal Stone from the head, and tossed it into her System Bag. She grabbed the man’s head as if discarding trash and threw it into the mass of zombies, then looked up at the top of the hospital, saying, "I still need to go one more place."

As she spoke, she jumped off the shoulder of the giant zombie and walked straight towards the familiar clothing building.

By her side, zombies were less than half a meter away from her, she straightened her back, not showing a hint of cowardice. If the zombies ahead were densely packed, they would automatically make way and dully follow behind her.

Su Mo understood that these zombies now lacked any autonomous consciousness, completely relying on Yang Yichu’s control. She still couldn’t determine how strong his level and his superpower had become.

She stepped into the clothing building and walked up to the second floor.

The dozen or so cages were still there, and the people inside had been replaced with a new batch; the cages had also been expanded to more than thirty.

There were two members of the Cannibal Tribe standing guard ahead, both of whom were straightforwardly bitten in the neck and killed by the zombies that pounced from behind, without Su Mo needing to make a move. She disregarded the bloody scene that ensued and instead observed these humans.

Most were ordinary people with four low-level superpower users; all of them were filthy and sat fearfully in the iron cages, looking in terror at her.. and at the zombies behind her.

"Where are you from?"

She asked softly.

The fact that a human was alive and well amidst a swarm of zombies truly shocked everyone, but in order to survive, someone still clung to the iron bars and volunteered, "We come from Gucheng City, it’s been overrun. We took a detour here, we didn’t expect these people to all be cannibals! Two of our companions have already been eaten!"

He spoke with righteous indignation, and even showed less fear of the zombies standing still like woodstocks.

Yang Yichu, stepping forward with her little legs, crossed the zombies to go upstairs, and after seeing the humans filling the cages, unconsciously stuck out her tongue to lick her lips, her small hand grabbing onto one of Su Mo’s fingertips.

Cold, without a trace of warmth.

Su Mo looked down and saw the glint of ferocity in his eyes, and said in a calm voice, "I want them to reach the refugee camp safely."

"But I’m hungry," Yang Yichu whined somewhat aggrievedly, her nose sniffing the trace of blood in the air.

"Could you let them go for your sister?" Su Mo squatted down to meet his gaze.

He was conflicted, but after a short while, he still agreed.

"Okay."

Su Mo smiled, walked over, and opened each cage. All the surviving people huddled together; even if they were not afraid of her, they were afraid of the small zombie beside her, which clearly looked not to be trifled with.

"How are you... able to control it?"

"Got any paper and a pen?"

"Uh..." A Space Superpower User really did fish out paper and a pen from his own Space, and with trembling hands, stepped forward a few steps to hand them to her.
