Li Yun’s first reaction was to locate Su Mo in the crowd; her seemingly unconcerned smirk sparked a sudden irritation within him. He didn’t trouble Mu Rou further, letting Li Ming support him as he hurried towards his residence.

Knowing trouble might ensue, Li Ming stubbed out his cigarette on the ground and, supporting his brother, left quickly.

Lu Chen patted Su Mo’s shoulder, his expression indifferent, "Let’s go, the show has begun."

There wasn’t much expression on Su Mo’s cute face, just her large eyes twinkled with a hint of schadenfreude.

To think they could take her person away just for a year’s worth of supplies and five vials of medicine was pure folly.

Whatever their intentions, messing with her people was not an option.
