Chapter 1024: Chapter 1015: Honeymoon (3)

Xia Siyu had an expression like “!!!” plastered all over her face. Young man, you have no honor!

“What are you doing?”

Bo Yan looked completely unfazed. “I’m hungry. When you’re hungry, you eat. Plus, I have no weight-loss problems. I weighed myself this morning and I’m three pounds lighter.”

When Bo Yan wasn’t hanging around Xia Siyu, even when he was on set, he’d have his personal trainer with him, and he’d spend his downtime working out. While there was no need to turn himself into a hulking bodybuilder, keeping in shape and staying fit was a habit for him—just like eating and breathing.

Bo Yan was never overweight to begin with. However, men do have a slight advantage over women when it comes to weight loss: with a higher muscle mass, it’s easier to maintain their physique.

But this guy was getting crafty. He kept teasing her repeatedly, and in the end, he actually went and made instant noodles himself!

And Bo Yan wasn’t even settling for just pouring hot water over the noodles. When he saw the cookware lying around, he exclaimed, “Oh, there’s a pot? Cooking the noodles in a pot makes them taste even better.”

Xia Siyu was furious. Why was he eating instant noodles, and cooking them no less!

Bo Yan quickly rinsed the pot and started boiling water. When the water began to boil, he tossed in the instant noodles.

After thirty seconds of cooking, he fished the noodles out and rinsed them in cold water, making them springier and chewier.

Then he boiled a fresh pot of water, added the seasoning packets, and poured the boiling water over it.

How should I put this? The moment the hot water hit the seasonings, the entire room was instantly filled with the delicious aroma of instant noodles. Xia Siyu’s salivary glands betrayed her and started working overtime, and her stomach even let out a loud *grumble*.

Bo Yan carried the cooked noodles to a small dining table not too far from her. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, he turned and opened the fridge to grab a can of Coke!

Instant noodles paired with Coke—pure indulgence. The enticing fragrance doubled in potency, leaving Xia Siyu practically drooling.

Bo Yan smiled slyly. “Want some? If you do, I can share a bit.”

Xia Siyu quickly straightened up, putting on a righteous face. “I don’t want any. Eating at midnight will make you gain three pounds. Go ahead, make yourself fat!”

Bo Yan chuckled. “Well, in that case, too bad.”

Saying that, he unapologetically picked up some noodles and slurped down a huge bite!

As everyone knows, whether instant noodles are actually tasty or not, they always smell amazing—and the noodles in someone else’s bowl smell even better. Watching him eat, Xia Siyu’s gaze gradually shifted. She inched closer. “Does it taste good?”

Bo Yan ignored her, lowering his head to take another bite. Two mouthfuls later, the noodles were already halfway gone. Xia Siyu watched in agony. “What flavor is it?”

Bo Yan still didn’t respond, but he actually scooped up some of the broth with a spoon and took a sip! Xia Siyu glanced at the packaging beside him. “Shrimp and fish cake flavor? Ugh, that one’s awful. Pickled vegetable flavor is the real deal.”

Before she even finished speaking, Bo Yan pulled out a small packet of pickled vegetables he had grabbed earlier from the kitchen area and added it straight into the noodles! As if that wasn’t enough, he then pulled out the ultimate instant noodle companion—a sausage. Slowly and deliberately, he started peeling it, clearly prepared to dip it into the noodles.

She could tolerate the pickled vegetables, but the sausage? That was the last straw. Xia Siyu couldn’t take it anymore. Fully aware of her growing craving, Bo Yan intentionally stood up and said, “Oh, I forgot. Fried eggs go best with noodles. Let me make one.”

As soon as he left his seat to fry the egg, Xia Siyu seized the opportunity, swooped in, and devoured the noodles in just a few bites. She even ate the peeled sausage out of spite. Perhaps eating too quickly made her choke a little, and she ended up drinking his Coke to wash it down. She had to admit, though—Bo Yan’s noodles were genuinely soft, smooth, and bouncy. Absolutely delicious.

When Bo Yan came back holding the frying pan, he wasn’t the least bit surprised to find his noodles gone. He even handed her the fried egg. “Do you want the egg?”
