Xia Siyu let out an “Oh.” Indeed, the commercial shoot would be wrapped up by tomorrow, and there were still a few days left before the New Year. She had nothing planned during these free days, and her initial thought was to return to Yancheng right after the commercial shoot. Bo Yan picked up her movie script. “So, you need to learn how to ride a heavy motorcycle and use firearms for this?”

Xia Siyu nodded. “Do you know how to?”

Bo Yan smiled. “Remember the time I won eight million from Bo Yi? That was during a Harley motorcycle competition. But if you want to learn, I can arrange a good practice venue for you and even introduce you to a few reliable coaches. As for firearms, I think I know someone who can help expedite the process.”

“You know someone? That’s wonderful!” Xia Siyu was visibly excited.

The motorcycle part was manageable, but firearms training was stricter since it was under government regulation. It wasn’t easy gaining access to a shooting range. Although Xia Siyu could have her company apply on her behalf, the process would inevitably take longer.

Bo Yan nodded. “But from what I’ve seen on the filming schedule, it looks like you’ll be busy until June. Even though the New Year is relatively late this year, work will probably begin again by early March. That leaves you with two to three months. Are you planning to dedicate all of them to preparations for this?”

For a female actress, the golden years in her career were limited. Wasting time meant wasting opportunities. Spending three months just to learn motorcycles and firearms wasn’t a bad idea, but it did feel like a significant time investment.

“Oh, no. I have a variety show to fill the gap in my schedule. Qin-ge got it for me.” She suddenly remembered. No wonder Wei Jingjing had barged into her room without knocking earlier; Qin Baizhou must’ve sent her the updated schedule.

This variety show had been in discussion with her for a long time, but Xia Siyu herself had never finalized anything until now. The first round of sponsorship negotiations had already been completed, and the shooting was set to begin in early May. A variety show wasn’t a big deal; she could participate in the show while simultaneously learning motorcycles and firearms—two birds with one stone.

Bo Yan nodded and then smiled again. “So if I take care of arranging the motorcycle and firearms training, what’s my reward? Come on, doing business without any benefits just won’t work.”

The moment Xia Siyu heard his tone, she immediately guessed what this guy was thinking. Like a startled rabbit, she hopped away in a flash. “Dream on! I’m going to dinner; I’m ignoring you.”

“There’s a saying: ‘Beauty can sate a man’s hunger.’ I think you’re way tastier than dinner. How about we ‘dine’ on each other first?”

No way was Xia Siyu going to let him catch her easily. She escaped like a puff of smoke.

Bo Yan didn’t chase after her. With the crew still around, they couldn’t just sneak off for a feast outside. They had no choice but to order takeout instead. Later that evening, he restrained himself from leaving any marks on her body after exerting their “energies,” opting for a peaceful, innocent night instead.

After all, there was no rush—the days ahead were long. Tonight, he’d conserve his strength and bide his time.

However, the next day, Bo Yan heard something unexpected from Wei Jingjing: the variety show Xia Siyu had agreed to join was a dating reality show. And, apparently, Qin Baizhou was going to participate as well.
