Chapter 99: Chapter 99 The New Semester Begins

Tang Yuxin wasn’t unfamiliar with the concept of a private jet.

But hearing about it was one thing; seeing it with her own eyes was something entirely different.

This private jet, gifted to Xiao Fei by the system, had its interior entirely tailored to suit both Xiao Fei’s and Tang Yuxin’s aesthetic preferences, while thoughtfully accommodating the presence of their three babies.

In addition to a massive lounge and rest area, the jet even had several bedrooms.

To top it off, the master bedroom prepared specially for Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin featured a panoramic skylight that offered a view of the sky outside.

And beyond all that, the jet was equipped with a conference room, bar, gym, private cinema—essentially anything one could think of.

Tang Yuxin was dazzled, her eyes darting around in awe, utterly mesmerized.

"Whee...!"

Throwing herself onto the gigantic, soft bed in the bedroom, Tang Yuxin giggled at Xiao Fei, her lips suddenly curving into a seductive smile.

She raised her right hand and gently beckoned Xiao Fei over with a curled finger.

"Hubby~~"

That voice, sweet and melodious like an oriole’s song, instantly sent a fiery surge through Xiao Fei.

He checked the time and let out a snort, "We’ve only got two hours—it’s not enough."

Tang Yuxin’s cheeks flushed red, but playful mischief gleamed in her eyes.

She deliberately rolled around on the bed, then struck a tempting pose.

Xiao Fei raised an eyebrow.

"Do you want me to carry you back home after we get off the plane?"

Tang Yuxin: "..."

Nearly two hours later.

Two flight attendants led the way, pushing a baby stroller that carried the three kids, while another flight attendant helped Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin carry their luggage.

At the rear, Tang Yuxin—her face flushed red—was being carried princess-style by Xiao Fei.

"Put... put me down!"

She buried herself in his arms in embarrassment, unwilling to meet the gazes of those around them.

"Stop fussing. Be good."

Xiao Fei looked fondly yet teasingly at the girl in his arms.

Travelers in the airport stared in amazement at the extraordinary scene, their eyes brimming with wonder.

Soon, the group arrived at the parking lot.

Before heading back to Sichuan Province, Xiao Fei had driven here directly, leaving his Land Rover Defender parked in the lot.

He carefully placed Tang Yuxin in the front passenger seat, secured the three babies in their car seats, and packed all their luggage into the trunk.

Xiang Zilan, ever obedient, had already jumped up onto the seat next to the three little angels and lay down beside them.

After bidding farewell to the flight crew, Xiao Fei drove back to Jinyu Huafu.

When the car entered the underground parking lot, Tang Yuxin had already regained her ability to move.

Upon returning to their familiar home, Tang Yuxin let out a cheer of joy.

At the same moment, the three babies woke up.

Placed on the sofa, they recognized the house and began babbling to themselves in delight.

With Xiang Zilan beside them for company, Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin didn’t need to worry too much.

Winter had passed, and spring had arrived.

Before long, it was springtime.

The university was about to start its new semester, and the three babies were now nearly six months old.

Since Da Bao had sprouted his first tiny tooth, all three children had grown small baby teeth. Their toothy grins were now visible whenever they smiled.

Xiao Fei had consulted a doctor and was advised not to rush into introducing solid foods—better to wait.

The recommendation was to observe the babies during family mealtimes to see if they showed interest in the food adults were eating.

If, over a sustained period, the babies exhibited signs of drooling while watching the adults eat, it would then be safe to carefully introduce small portions of solid food.

At nearly six months old, the babies were already vastly different from when Xiao Fei had first met them.

They now responded when their names were called, occasionally emitted hissing sounds, and started to turn away when they encountered scents or tastes they didn’t like.

These were signs that their sense of smell had fully matured.

The most amusing development was how they could now sit for a while with the support of a backrest.

Although they couldn’t stay seated for long before plopping over.

Xiao Fei found the babies endlessly adorable, wishing he could keep them in his sight 24/7.

Tang Yuxin shared the sentiment.

Finally, the day of the new semester arrived.

Morning.

As Xiao Fei woke up, he felt a weight pressing down on him.

Raising his head, he saw Tang Yuxin had draped one leg over him.

Her head was nestled against his shoulder, one hand gripping his ear, and one leg sprawled over his stomach.

This horrendous sleeping posture...

Xiao Fei gently patted Tang Yuxin’s cheek.

"Hey, darling, it’s time to get up."

"Mmm..."

Tang Yuxin mumbled groggily.

"You need to wake up. It’s the first day of the semester—you have to go teach."

"Mmm... I don’t want the semester to start..."

"...?"

"I don’t want to teach... Mmm... I don’t want to..."

Tang Yuxin fluttered her lashes, finally opening her eyes. She gazed at Xiao Fei, then flashed a goofy smile.

"Morning, hubby~"

"Morning? Seriously? Look at the time! It’s the semester—you have to go teach!"

"Don’t wanna teach."

Tang Yuxin clung to Xiao Fei tightly, beginning to whimper playfully.

"I just don’t want to..."

"Snap out of it—you’re a teacher."

Tang Yuxin blinked: "...Oh yeah, I’m a teacher."

Despite her realization, she remained motionless.

"I’ve been cursed... Hubby needs to hug and kiss me for the seal to break."

So, he hugged and kissed her.

"Mmm... The curse isn’t lifted yet—I need more hugs and kisses."

So, he hugged and kissed her again.

"Still not... Ah!"

Before she could finish, Tang Yuxin found herself hoisted into mid-air.

Xiao Fei swiftly got up, carrying her horizontally before walking her straight into the bathroom.

He put her down and huffed, "Go wash up."

"No!"

Tang Yuxin refused coquettishly.

"I want hubby to brush my teeth for me!"

"Heh... So you want the ’toothbrush play,’ huh?"

Xiao Fei took her toothbrush but hesitated to squeeze toothpaste onto it.

He stared at the brush, which resembled a tool for scrubbing pots—it was an absolute mess. The bristles were twisted and tangled like they’d survived a war.

Turning to Tang Yuxin, Xiao Fei asked dryly, "Sweetheart, are you holding a grudge against your toothbrush?"

Ideally, toothbrushes should be replaced every three months, but none of Tang Yuxin’s ever lasted over a month.

Regardless of the quality—manual or electric—the brushes always ended up destroyed within a few weeks.

"It’s not my fault..."

Tang Yuxin’s gaze shifted sheepishly. "These toothbrushes just don’t cooperate with me."

Then, she cheerfully hugged Xiao Fei’s neck.

"So... Can my darling hubby brush my teeth for me?"

Xiao Fei grabbed a new toothbrush from under the sink, applied toothpaste, and poured a cup of warm water.

"Open your mouth."

"Ah..."

"That’s feeding posture, not brushing posture. Toothpaste isn’t food—close your teeth."

"Hehe..."

A minute later...

"Mmm... Hubby, I’ll brush it myself—it feels weird..."

"Heh? Now you’re backing out? It’s too late!"

"Wahhh!"
