There is no right or wrong in the revolution of the Heavenly Dao; however, revolutions on the Human Path are often twisted by those with ulterior motives, so much that even the Son of Heaven’s Mandate cannot grasp it," Wukong saw the root of this battle, as well as the future development of the Human Path, so he knew all of this must be stopped.

He took his place in the center of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pilgrimage Formation, seated upon a lotus platform. Then, he placed his Magical Treasure before the small altar in front of the lotus platform, which could activate the power of the Magical Treasure.

Three Thousand Buddhas were arrayed upon lotus platforms, each placing their Magical Treasures upon the altars before them, primarily consisting of Sharira.

"Elder Brother Zhen Yuanzi holds the teacher’s Ten Thousand Immortals’ Talismanic Scripts and has gone to the South Sea to ask the ancient powers to set up the Ten Thousand Immortals Great Formation. I wonder, between the ten thousand Buddhas and the ten thousand immortals, who is more formidable?" Wukong thought to himself.

During the reign of Emperor Huizong of Song, he had conferred the title of Greatly Enlightened Golden Immortal upon Buddha, so even Buddha Ancestor could be called "Golden Immortal." Within this Ten Thousand Immortals Great Formation, there were also genuine Buddhas of the Spirit Mountain. It seemed as though this Emperor’s actions had somehow linked to karma.

The words of the Human Emperor could change the national destiny, and the transformation of the Human Path could even affect the Dao of Immortals. Therefore, as Human Emperor, one must possess great divine providence and great merit to carry this providence. Without virtue, one naturally meets destruction. Emperor Yang of Sui was of the latter, devoid of virtue, hence the early demise of the Sui Dynasty.

Guanyin, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva all nodded to each other, ready to act from within and without when the time came. However, these Bodhisattvas were arranged on the outer perimeter of the Great Array, further out were the Vajra, Bhikkhunis, Holy Monks, and other lower ranks.

The Bodhisattva Great Array was controlled by Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, a person of astonishing talent. Tathagata had even gone so far as to expend the Power of the Heavens to brainwash him thoroughly.

"I have foreseen that my Mount Meru will face a great apocalypse! A group of false Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will come to usurp and take over the Buddhist sect, promoting their counterfeit kindness and justice. We, benevolent in heart, thinking of all sentient beings, must not allow them entry into Mount Meru, but instead should annihilate them thoroughly. As they say, ’If I do not enter hell, who will?’ This time, I ask all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to accompany me into hell," Tathagata declared loudly, distorting right and wrong, portraying Siddhartha Gautama Buddha and others as devils attempting to occupy Mount Meru and perverting the Buddhist Law.

Wukong couldn’t help but secretly chuckle at how skillfully Tathagata spread dissension. But he could only follow the other Buddhas in responding, "We obey the law’s command!"

Descending from the sky was a monk in white robes, none other than Mahavairocana Buddha, holding a world in his hand—the Buddhist Vedha Continent. Numerous masters of the Esoteric Sect jumped out from his hand.

"Greetings to Mahavairocana Buddha Ancestor!" those present all bowed to Mahavairocana.

Mahavairocana Buddha, with a smile, responded, "No need for such formalities, my friends. This time we share a common enemy. We must utterly annihilate them to prevent any resurgence, returning with increased vigor to harm our Buddhist sect’s compassion."

"Indeed!" All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas echoed once more, their voices ringing like countless vast bells, resounding up into the Nine Heavens.

The Jade Emperor watched from above with trepidation, having already hidden within the Queen Mother’s Yao Pond, fearing collateral damage. This battle was too great—celestial emperors and Immortals of the Heavenly Court had all mobilized. The current Heavenly Court was left with beings of lesser Mana. A single Mixed Yuan Golden Immortal could probably sweep through them all. However, within the Yao Pond, there arguably sat countless elites nurtured by the Queen Mother, there to guard the Mother Peach Tree.

Wukong was also inwardly alarmed; the number of Buddhas from the Esoteric Sect was vast. It seemed that the Otherworld had invested significantly in the cultivation of the Buddhist sect!

Many of the Otherworld’s forces had converged within the Buddhist sect, and a massive portion of the fighting power was still within the Otherworld itself. The Buddhist sect was akin to a suicide squad meant to wear down the Four Great Continents. Once the great catastrophe fully erupted and the Otherworld’s backup forces were committed, only then would life and death truly be determined.

"Tathagata has deployed the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pilgrimage Formation, which has caused divine providence to converge and to be as resplendent as the midday sun!" Using the Heavenly Eye, Wukong could faintly see strands of Law intertwining and then rising as Purple Qi. Behind Tathagata, a massive sun rose slowly, resplendent as the midday sun.

Resplendent as the midday sun is a kind of great divine providence.

Golden Dragon Protection is also a kind of great divine providence.

Purple Qi Coming from the East is yet another kind of great divine providence.

Now, Tathagata’s providence had condensed to an extreme. But as things reach their extreme, they reverse, and prosperity must wane. With this battle, it wasn’t clear whether all of Tathagata’s providence would be scattered. Once Tathagata’s providence dispersed, all the false Buddhas’ providence would vanish too. Devoid of providence, they were due to meet their fate. Wukong sneered to himself, feeling a Divine Whip within him pulsing, successfully suppressing his own providence and preventing Tathagata from stealing it.

"Medicine Buddha, Peacock Great Ming King Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Guanyin, quickly connect with me. I will use the God-Beating Whip to suppress your providence, lest Tathagata take it away and consolidate it within himself. If he dies, we will die as well!" Wukong whispered sharply.

Tathagata was amassing everyone’s providence. With the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pilgrimage Formation, he was the "Pilgrimage." If he died, everyone would die because the providence would have scattered.
