Tathagata has already set up a vast formation on Mount Meru. Anticipating the great catastrophe between heaven and earth, he knew that the Daoist sect would come to settle scores with him. Therefore, he directly arranged a Great Array. The overwhelming power permeates the entire Mount Meru, making it as impenetrable as an iron bucket. Even if Zhunti himself appeared, he would not be able to breach it; the joint effort of saints is required.

As an important chess piece of the Heavens, Tathagata descended upon West Cow He State and gathered the Power of the Heavens. With untold strength from the Otherworldly Heavenly Dao bolstering him, breaking through would be a very troublesome matter. The role of the Nine Heavens is to confront the Various Heavens of the Otherworld, not Tathagata. After all, Tathagata has not committed any acts against heaven. Though he harbors evil intentions, it is not evident and thus beyond retribution.

Before Siddhartha had set out, someone had already arrived at the Ruins. It was Immortal Guang Chengzi.

"Amitabha, greetings to Real Man Guang Chengzi!" Merit Buddha was the first to see Guang Chengzi and immediately greeted him with respect.

Guang Chengzi spoke, "I have come on Master’s orders! Our Sect Hierarch has already learned about your emergence and thus sent me here. The three saints are currently in the War God Secret Realm forging the Tower Connecting Heaven. This tower is the key to connecting the worlds of the Heavenly Dao. It was severed by the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors during the Middle Ancient Times, but destiny has now decreed the time for its refinement. If we were to engage in direct combat with the Otherworld on the Four Great Continents, it would devastate the world."

"The three saints are unable to take action?" Siddhartha asked with a frown.

"It isn’t that they cannot take action; rather, they are refining the Tower Connecting Heaven to restore it and link to the Otherworld to construct the battlefield!" Guang Chengzi said, "When the time comes, the three saints will assist you all in breaking Tathagata’s Ten Thousand Buddhas Pilgrimage Formation. Even across the endless void, magical treasures will fly over and strike at Tathagata."

The methods of the saints are unfathomable, capable of summoning magical treasures to slay enemies from across the endless void! Otherwise, how could the Heavens project their influence through the endless Chaos and the void to wreak havoc in each other’s worlds and retain such formidable power?

The Tower Connecting Heaven is born of the Heavenly Dao and was forcibly severed by the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. The backlash of that force led to their demise, but the vast Incense Power and Wishes of the Human Clan allowed the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors to entrust their spirit in the magical treasures, enabling them to manifest and protect the Human Clan at any moment.

The moment for the great battle is approaching, and Buddhas of Spirit Mountain, Bodhisattvas, and Vajra Arhats have all returned. Tathagata has arranged the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pilgrimage Formation, making Mount Meru as solid as an iron bucket, hard to break through.

However, inside, there are insiders like Guanyin and other Bodhisattvas as well as Kong Xuan, Medicine Buddha, and Victorious Fighting Buddha. Once they switch sides, Tathagata will surely suffer a significant loss.

This has all been calculated by the Three Pure Ones long ago. The Sect of Interception once had a glimmer of hope, but it was doomed because someone in their ranks caused trouble, disrupted the Great Array, and stole the Magical Treasure. This led to the downfall of the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating’s undertaking.

"Now that all of you have emerged, being veterans of the Middle Ancient Times great war and knowing how devastating that battle was and how many perished, it is time for action. Tathagata holds sway over Mount Meru and controls the fate of West Cow He State. He is a malignancy within our Heavenly Dao World that must be eradicated lest he severely impacts the Heavenly Dao. Now that all of you have recovered, the time for us to act has arrived. The existence of heaven and earth hangs in the balance at this moment," Siddhartha stated.

Suddenly feeling somewhat breathless, he found the mana within his body beginning to decline. He said gravely, "The Human Path is also at a critical juncture of existence. It has already affected the Heavenly Dao, prompting it to initiate a calamitous purge. This is the Five Decays of Heaven and Man, the precursor to the great disaster."

All beings within and beyond the Three Realms felt the discomfort, as if struck by illness, a malaise coursing through their bodies. This was the Five Decays of Heaven and Man, the sign of an impending catastrophe.

"We naturally will follow the arrangements of Ancestor Buddha Sakyamuni!" said the ones present.

During the great battle of Middle Ancient Times, Siddhartha shone brilliantly, leading thousands in battle, earning great support. With his call to arms, they were willing to follow.

At this critical moment of survival for heaven and earth, everyone was united with a single purpose: to repel the Otherworldly Heavenly Dao, secure transcendence of the Heavenly Dao World, halt the Qing Army’s advance, and preserve the Human Path.

Guang Chengzi said, "My fellow disciple Huang Long Zhenren has already carried the decree from our Primordial Teacher, summoning all gods of Celestial Palace to proceed to Mount Meru. When the great forces converge, they will crush Tathagata."

Although the Celestial Palace is said to be governed by the Jade Emperor, he is just a puppet. The true power lies with the Three Pure Ones. After being humiliated by Wukong during Havoc in Heaven, the Jade Emperor’s authority weakened even further.

The other Great Emperors of the Celestial Palace have also accelerated their efforts to seize power, further marginalizing the Jade Emperor.
