How heavy is the will of a world? The entire world of Heavenly Demons hid in the boundless void, immeasurable, even larger than the Four Great Continents. Naturally, the will of such a world was tremendously powerful! However, the Meritorious Lotus Platform was the bane of the Heavenly Demon’s world; although it was a mere Third-Grade Lotus Platform, it withstood the will of the whole world.

The Great Freedom Heavenly Demon Lord was furious but knew even so, he couldn’t kill Wukong. Thus, he used the world’s will to construct a formation to trap him, and then began to refine him.

"I want to see if, after spending a thousand years or more, can I refine you!" the Great Freedom Heavenly Demon Lord said viciously, starting to stir up the True Fire to refine Wukong, along with the Meritorious Lotus Platform.

Sitting crossed-legged on the Lotus Platform, Wukong resisted the will of the Heavenly Demon world while perceiving its essence, grasping the crux of creation.

"The Yin and Yang Law, the Life and Death Law, the Condensation Law, the Breaking Law, the Soul Law... Creation is a difficult task; it is a Heaven-Penetrating and Earth-Encompassing skill. It’s not easy to become a creator. These laws, all ninety-nine of them, exist for the purpose of creation. Each one is incredibly difficult to condense. To merge these laws into one to become a creator is even more challenging," Wukong felt the laws contained within the world’s essence. The ninety-nine laws existed for creation, and just by merging them together, he could immediately become a creator.

Meanwhile, Fuxi helped with another calculation and said to Wukong, "Having the Meritorious Lotus Platform as protection, you could turn danger into safety. In the grand scheme of things, the Heavenly Dao is helping you. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have encountered the Mosquito Taoist in the Xi Qie Mi."

Wukong nodded slightly and asked, "There’s something else I’d like to ask the Heavenly Emperor."

Fuxi nodded, "Ask away."

Wukong frowned and said, "In my past life, the Tathagata released a Six-Eared Macaque, then slew me in the Great Hall of Mount Meru. If not for Amitabha transforming the Meritorious Lotus Platform into the Rebirth Box, I’m afraid I would have died. What I want to know is, where has the Six-Eared Macaque gone to now? I have searched for a long time and have yet to see its trace."

Fuxi replied, "The Six-Eared Macaque is nothing but the manifestation of your negative thoughts. The Four Great Demon Monkeys, the first two existed since ancient times, the Tongbei Monkey and the Red-Bottomed Horse Monkey. The Stone Monkey is a product of the chance encounter of the elemental forces of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire, while the Six-Eared Macaque is a manifestation of the Stone Monkey’s resentment."

Wukong’s frown deepened, "How can this be? Then why haven’t I encountered the Six-Eared Macaque in this life?"

Fuxi explained, "The Five Elements Mountain suppressed you, absorbing the hatred and resentment in your heart. Otherwise, how could you have ventured on the Journey to the West so easily? With your previous temperament, you probably would have rather died than become a lackey of Buddhism. In this life, you were restrained by the Five Elements Mountain, but you gained Great Wisdom about life and death, subduing your heart, therefore, resentment no longer arises."

The higher a person’s cultivation, the less they are swayed by emotions. When emotional fluctuations become too intense, they can even damage the essence.

Upon reflection, Wukong remembered that when he was suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain by the Tathagata in his past life, his heart was indeed filled with boundless resentment, and then all that hatred was absorbed by the mountain, transforming into the Six-Eared Macaque... It turned out that while the Stone Monkey was a product of the chance encounter of the elemental forces, the Six-Eared Macaque was born because of the Stone Monkey’s encounter.

In this life, Wukong knew early on that he would be suppressed by the Tathagata, so he harbored no negative emotions, and consequently, the Six-Eared Macaque did not appear.

Suddenly, Fuxi mused, "The true Future World Honored One is about to descend. Chi Songzi, take him for an invocation," he said.

Enlightenment Dao asked with curiosity, "The World Honored One of the future? A member of the Buddhist sect? Why would they require us to rescue him?"

Fuxi replied, "The Medicine Buddha is the Future Buddha, yet a false Medicine Buddha has long appeared within the Buddhist community. The Medicine Buddha, Tathagata, is the Respectful Ruler of the World after Maitreya, so his birth is relatively late. Now, the true Medicine Buddha is about to be born into the Eastern Lapis Lazuli Pure Light Realm. Go and rescue him, then head to Zhen Yuanzi’s place to borrow some pepino fruits for him; he will grow up quickly."

The Medicine Buddha is the Future Buddha among the Three Worlds Buddha, coming after Maitreya. The Medicine Buddha on Mount Meru in Western Heaven is naturally a fake. And now, the true Medicine Buddha, due to a convergence of causes and conditions, is about to be born into the Eastern Lapis Lazuli Pure Light Realm, later than any other Buddha.

"To sneak into the fake Medicine Buddha’s Pure Light World to rescue the true Medicine Tathagata won’t be easy," Chi Songzi said.

"No matter! I’ll use the Eight Trigrams Secret Technique to give you a blessing, concealing your aura so not even the Medicine Buddha can detect you," Fuxi declared.

Fuxi’s cultivation was Heaven-Penetrating and Earth-Encapsulating. Although he existed in a different form, his mana had not declined in the slightest. Now, as he cast a secret technique, the void illustrated two Bagua, infusing them into the bodies of Enlightenment Dao and Chi Songzi, immediately hiding their aura. With a slight alteration, even Saints would find it difficult to recognize them.

The true Medicine Tathagata, once born, would be an immeasurably strong force, absolutely at the Quasi-saint Level.

Zhen Yuanzi waved his hand, uprooting the pepino fruit tree in its entirety and storing it within his sleeve. He also held the Book of Earth, saying, "This Book of Earth can alter my aura, so there’s no need to trouble you."

The trio set off immediately towards the Eastern Lapis Lazuli Pure Light Realm.
