The Tathagata didn’t want to admit that this was Laojun’s mount because if Wukong just went to Doulu Palace like that, it would be bound to end in failure; Laojun would surely avoid him and not show himself.

"This bracelet is so formidable that even if I went myself, I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to handle it! I’ll have the Eighteen Arhats go with you to take a look; if they can beat him, then beat him, if not, we’ll have to find another way," said the Tathagata.

The Green Ox Demon wielding the Vajra Bracelet would probably leave even the Buddhas battered and bruised if they went to face him. That was an ultimate Magical Treasure of the Human Teachings, capable of capturing even Innate Magical Treasures! The Tathagata must have felt a sting, having already lost quite a bit at the founding ceremony of the Louguan Sect, and now he even had to offer treasures to Laojun, which was almost too much to bear! But with no choice, the Eighteen Arhats took the Golden Sand Pills and set off with Wukong towards Golden Helmet Mountain.

Hearing this, the Rhinoceros King fetched his spear and, observing the golden radiance of the Eighteen Arhats in the sky, pointed his spear from a distance and sneered, "So are you the reinforcements the monkey has called for?"

"Rhinoceros King, please release Tang Sanzang first; let’s talk this out and discuss the matter!" said the Eighteen Arhats.

The Rhinoceros King spat and cursed, "Pah! Release him? As if consuming your flesh would be of any concern to me? The flesh of Tang Sanzang is precious, how could I let it go easily?"

The Eighteen Arhats also cursed, "You vile demon, such disrespect! Take our Magical Treasures!"

Then all at once, the Eighteen Arhats formed a Hand Seal and jointly hurled the fifteen Golden Sand Pills towards the Rhinoceros King.

The Rhinoceros King simply laughed heartily and said, "Fools, attacking me with Magical Treasures is no different than gifting them to me!"

The Rhinoceros King formed a seal and the Vajra Bracelet on his wrist flew up, emitting a golden light. The falling Golden Sand Pills were immediately swallowed by the bracelet, disappearing without a trace. The Eighteen Arhats watched in secret alarm; the Vajra Bracelet truly was an extraordinary object, and even if the Buddha came, perhaps he couldn’t subdue this Rhinoceros King!

This demon might have some connection to Laojun, why doesn’t Great Saint ascend to the heavens to demand an explanation from Laojun?"

Wukong exclaimed in surprise, "Ah! So it has to do with Laojun! Then Old Sun will go up to the heavens and ask Laojun for an explanation! The nerve of that Laojun, not taking proper care of his own Magical Treasure, allowing a demon to steal it and causing me such suffering."

Having said that, he mounted the clouds and ascended to heaven.

"Sister, this isn’t right! Go tell our teacher that Old Sun wants to borrow the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation for a bit. Watch me teach that Rhinoceros King to be as docile as an ox in no time!" Wukong said with a bow and a smile.
