Zhen Yuanzi was about to see Kong Xuan out of the temple when suddenly, a loud whoosh was heard, followed by the earth and the heavens tearing apart as spells soared into the sky.

A roar resounded, "You despicable lot, how dare you sneak into the temple to steal people! Take this!"

A divine sword soared into the sky and, with a flicker, a million sword Qi fell like rain.

"Buddha of Immeasurable Life!" Suddenly, a Buddha appeared, towering a thousand feet tall, clasping the Seal of Immeasurable Life in his hand, striking down on the divine sword, causing the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths to tremble.

"Immeasurable Light!" Another chant resounded, and yet another Buddha appeared sitting high in the sky, clasping the Seal of Immeasurable Light in his hand, also striking the divine sword.

"Purple Qi Coming from the East!"

A mass of purple mist boiled in the sky, transforming into divine dragons, phoenixes, Xuanwu, and other sacred beasts, all attacking the two Buddhas.

Zhen Yuanzi said, "It seems to be Yin Xi! It seems the actions of the Buddhist sect have been too harsh, angering Yin Xi."

Kong Xuan’s expression changed as well, saying, "I fear that the Buddha of Immeasurable Life and Buddha of Immeasurable Light have entered the Wuzhuang Temple to take Tang Sanzang and his companions away."
