Worry colored Daoist Equal to Heaven’s face as the inner demon within the Great Sage Equal to Heaven’s Heart Tribulation erupted, drawing him into the World of Heavenly Demons. His heart pounded with urgency.

In haste, he lit three incense sticks and, facing the direction of the Upper Pure Heaven, he bowed deeply and called out the name of the Sovereign Divine Treasure three times.

In the Upper Pure Heaven, the Sovereign Divine Treasure naturally sensed something amiss and knew that Daoist Equal to Heaven needed help. He thus instructed Wusheng, "Your junior brother is in trouble, go down and see what is happening."

Wusheng complied and left the Biyougong Palace, hurrying to the location of Daoist Equal to Heaven, guided by the incense, which served as a beacon.

From afar, Wusheng saw Daoist Equal to Heaven and approached to ask, "You’ve just left the Upper Pure Heaven and already encountered trouble; may I know the matter of urgency?"

Daoist Equal to Heaven explained hastily, "Elder sister, when my other self, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, was purifying his Primordial Spirit in the Sea of Thunder, his Heart Tribulation triggered, and he was drawn into the Outer Domain Demon World. What should we do?"

Wusheng, shocked, was aware that usually one had no other fate than death when dragged into the Outer Domain Demon World during a Heart Tribulation. She said, "To be pulled into the Outer Domain Demon World at such a time? It seems this heart demon is indeed severe. Even though our master has long since taught you the methods to avoid the Three Disasters and Nine Tribulations, it seems ineffective this time."

"What should we do?" implored Daoist Equal to Heaven.

"Don’t panic, I’ll consult our master. He will surely have a way to solve this. Wait here for me," without lingering further, Wusheng turned and hurried back to the Biyougong Palace.

Upon seeing the Sovereign Divine Treasure and the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating, Wusheng bowed and said, "Master, Wukong has indeed been taken over by his heart demon. While purifying his Primordial Spirit, his Heart Tribulation flared up, and he has been taken to the Outer Domain Demon World. What can be done?"

The Leader of Heaven-Penetrating furrowed his brow slightly, saying, "Oh, is that so? This indeed complicates things -- yet there’s no need to worry."

The Leader of Heaven-Penetrating then produced a shuttle from his sleeve; named the Demon-avoiding Divine Shuttle, it was an extremely powerful Magical Treasure.

"Take this Demon-avoiding Divine Shuttle. Traverse the boundless void and go to the Outer Domain Demon World to find him and bring him back," said the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating indifferently.

Wusheng took the Demon-avoiding Divine Shuttle from the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating’s hand and asked, "How does one use this?"

The Leader of Heaven-Penetrating explained, "Infuse it with True Qi and it will allow your spirit to roam beyond the heavens, traveling across time and space. The Outer Domain Demon World lies to the southeast. With the shuttle in hand, simply head southeast, and you will be able to enter the Outer Domain Demon World."

Wusheng, holding the Demon-avoiding Divine Shuttle, murmured an incantation and immediately her Primordial Spirit left her body, carried by the Divine Shuttle, and soared into the sky. While the flowers bloom on both ends, each displays its own splendor.

Meanwhile, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, having converted the Heavenly Demon King to his cause, and subsequently converted a million Heavenly Demons, had them all enter the Buddha Kingdom within his body. There, they chanted scriptures daily, providing him with an endless supply of Incense Power and Wishes. However, the Incense Power and Wishes generated by these Heavenly Demons were somewhat inferior to those of humans.

Yet, the number of Heavenly Demons in the Outer Domain Demon World was beyond measure, so numerous that the Great Sage Equal to Heaven need not worry. Even if the power of their wishes was less than that of mortals, their sheer numbers would compensate.

Having subjugated a million Heavenly Demons with the Heavenly Demon King, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven ventured deeper, aiming to subjugate even more. In doing so, his combat power would skyrocket to terrifying levels!

"Hmph, you’ve got guts, daring to subdue the subjects of my domain!" came a cold snort, as if from the depths of the Nine Serenities, chilling to the bone, as if it could freeze the Primordial Spirit itself.

"This is not good! This person’s mana is at least above that of a creator, perhaps even touching the Primordial Great Way, possessing the qualification to become a saint," thought the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, feeling as if plunged into an icy cavern. He promptly took the Heavenly Demon King back into the Buddha Kingdom within his body and transformed into a beam of divine light, fleeing at great speed.

"You think to flee before me? You’re overestimating your abilities!" The speaker sneered again as a gigantic hand pierced through the void and reached for the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.

"This is at least a Quasi-Saint!" The Great Sage Equal to Heaven felt a chill in his heart, "Could it be the Lord of the Heavenly Demons, the Other-Transforming Self at Ease himself?"

The Other-Transforming Self at Ease was an entity even Siddhartha Gautama Buddha held in high caution. The nirvana of the Duobao Tathagata was triggered by this very being, who completely set off his heart demon, causing him to reincarnate as Siddhartha and undergo great trials to repair himself. It was the influence of the Other-Transforming Self at Ease that led to him being scorched by Karmic Fire for five hundred years before achieving True Fruition.

The world known as the Outer Domain Demon World was also called the Other-Transforming Self at Ease, another name for the terrifying existence of the Lord of the Heavenly Demons, the Great Freedom Demon. Even the Buddha Ancestor could have their conviction shaken by him, leading to nirvana and rebirth through tribulations.

"Not good!" Though the Great Sage Equal to Heaven’s escaping light was exceedingly fast, able to cover a hundred and eight thousand miles in a single leap on his cloud, the Great Freedom Demon was even faster. As his hand descended, blotting out the sky, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven felt as if he had once again fallen into the palm of the Tathagata.

Space itself fragmented under the Great Freedom Demon’s grasp, and countless stars burst asunder, aiming to crush the Great Sage Equal to Heaven in an instant.

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven opened his mouth and spat out the Sky-Breaking Divine Bow and Sky-Breaking Divine Arrow. Drawing the bow, he turned and released the arrow!

This shot was not aimed; it flew out directly. Against the sky-sized palm of the Great Freedom Demon, there was no need to aim.

"Bang!"

An arrow shot out like an exploding meteor, making the Great Freedom Demon groan in pain, but it didn’t harm him much, merely bursting into a cloud of blood mist. He still slammed down with his palm!

Daoist Equal to Heaven inwardly cried out, "This isn’t good, not good at all! The Sky-Breaking Divine Bow and Sky-Breaking Divine Arrow are especially effective against the Various Heavens and the Heavenly Dao Laws, but they’re practically useless against the Other-transforming Self at Ease. I’m done for now!"

Daoist Equal to Heaven felt extremely reluctant to accept this fate. He had endured two thousand years of tribulations in the environment and had attained the Supreme Right Enlightenment, but now he was about to die at the hands of the Great Freedom Demon.

Just as Daoist Equal to Heaven was resigned to his fate, a divine light flickered. Sword light, like a dragon, streaked forth and pierced the air. With a hiss, it forcefully ripped apart the palm of the Great Freedom Demon, spraying a large swath of demonic blood and causing him to howl in pain and withdraw his hand.

Daoist Equal to Heaven looked closely and saw that it was Wusheng who had arrived, and he couldn’t help but joyfully exclaim, "Sister, you came for me!"

Wusheng helplessly shook her head and said, "The Lord of the Heavenly Demons of Other-transforming Self at Ease normally wouldn’t act so rashly. What did you do to enrage him so?"

Daoist Equal to Heaven was taken aback and awkwardly admitted, "I converted a million Heavenly Demons and one Heavenly Demon King here, and then he took action."

Upon hearing this, Wusheng shook her head even more. This fellow’s daring was truly great; converting the subjects of someone else’s territory right under their nose. Being the Lord of the Heavenly Demons, could the Great Freedom Demon just look the other way? Such an act was tantamount to slapping his face. Given Great Freedom Demon’s cultivation, his personal involvement was because Daoist Equal to Heaven was too thoughtless.

If Daoist Equal to Heaven had known this would happen, he wouldn’t have been so reckless. Offending the Great Freedom Demon over a million Heavenly Demons was not a worthwhile trade.

"Mother of Non-Duality! How dare you intrude the Outer Domain Demon World of this seat!" roared the Great Freedom Demon furiously.

The newcomer was clad in a black robe, tall and imposing, with a ghastly complexion, fang-like teeth and a ghoulish face, and blood-red eyes—a sight so dreadful it could make one’s hair stand on end.

With a wave of his robe, he transformed into a handsome young man, but his expression remained dark and gloomy, utterly chilling.

Wusheng gave a salute and said, "Great Freedom Demon Lord, this man is my junior brother, who strayed into the World of Heavenly Demons by mistake and offended you. Please forgive the transgression!"

However, the Great Freedom Demon laughed maniacally, "Ha ha, ha ha! Entering my World of Heavenly Demons, he converted a million of my subjects and even a Heavenly Demon King. How could I let him off?"

Wusheng replied, "He is but a foolish child. Surely the Freedom Heavenly Devil Lord wouldn’t bother with him?"

The face of the Great Freedom Demon darkened as he snorted, "Hmph! I’ll give the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating considerable face. If you can best me today, the two of you may leave. If not, then you will both stay here."

Wusheng frowned slightly and sighed, "Very well, very well! Since you press so insistently, do not blame me for being merciless!" With that, Wusheng took out a talisman, burnt it, and prayed, "Oh Venerable Celestial of the Shangqing, Lord of Heaven-Penetrating, your disciple Wusheng implores you with utmost urgency, please grant the Slaying Immortal Divine Edge from beneath your seat!"

The countenance of the Great Freedom Demon changed, not expecting that Wusheng would actually invoke the Immortal-slaying Sword. Although his mana was greater than Wusheng’s and he had the advantage of the terrain which allowed him to utilize many of the World of Heavenly Demons’ mysteries, if Wusheng held the Immortal-slaying Sword, he’d no longer be confident in himself.

"Hum!"

The heavens and earth trembled as an overwhelming and terrifying murderous aura erupted, even more fearful than that of Yuantu and Abi. The Four Swords of Celestial Slaying were the foremost in the Heavenly Dao for slaying, the Slaying Sword being the most lethal. Even Yuantu and Abi, masters of the path of slaughter, were inferior to it. Now calling for the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating’s Immortal-slaying Sword was like darkening the sky and earth.

"Bang, bang, bang, bang!"

Desolate planets burst under the terrible aura of the Immortal-slaying Sword, turning into dust. Even Daoist Equal to Heaven kept retreating, silently reciting the Sutra of the Other Shore to prevent the aura from affecting his mind. An ordinary person simply couldn’t control such a magical treasure; inadequate cultivation could lead to being dominated by the treasure instead, resulting in the treasure controlling the person rather than the other way around.

Wusheng, as the first generation disciple of the Sect of Interception, naturally held powerful tricks up her sleeve. The Leader of Heaven-Penetrating had given her a few talismans that could call forth the Four Swords of Celestial Slaying, even the Immortal-Slaying Sword Array! But this sword array was too mighty, its power destructive; Wusheng didn’t have the capability to control it. Thus, she could only summon a single Immortal-slaying Sword.

The Great Freedom Demon said in surprise, "I didn’t expect you to have such a move up your sleeve. It seems the Leader of Heaven-Penetrating takes good care of you, even allowing you to wield his Immortal-slaying Sword!"

Cold light flitting, sword light swirling like a Milky Way falling from the Nine Heavens, akin to quicksilver flowing to the ground. It was only then that Daoist Equal to Heaven truly sensed the extreme horror of the Sword Dao.

A delicate, fair hand gripped the sword’s hilt, with Wusheng’s expression cold as ice as she declared, "Then let me witness the skill of the Great Freedom Heavenly Demon Lord, to see what method you have to keep the two of us here!"

Although the Great Freedom Demon was surprised, he also wasn’t afraid, for this was the domain of the Heavenly Demon, empowered by the mysteries of the World of Heavenly Demons. The outcome of this battle was yet uncertain.
