well worth the read, a little boring in the start. i enjoyed the fights a for the most part, him always wiping the floor the demons was always very fun to read. tristian is more fleshed out then the orignal mc tho, which kinda pmo. my only major problem is with the last fight, couldnt the evil god have talked? but all fights were very well done and the story is well written. i read it all in 3 days and it was worth it, best harem after na kang lim ofc
I liked this novel.
I'll start of with a little summary, as the synapsis is a bit lacking. This novel, is about Isaac. Someone who transmigrated into a game, but it seems to be on hell difficulty? The protagonist is suddenly a master fainter, so we need someone else. Isaac, knowing this, puts all his stat points into being as the title says, a demon limited hunter.
Lets start with things I like about this novel.
It's well written. This, along with other factors, help make it a refreshing read, something that i'd want to read, rather than just something that i'm reading to waste time.
As for the power system, it's pretty straight forward. If classifies both enemies, and the protagonist with levels. The mc, for every stat point he allocates into a category, e.g. Power against demons, which he obviously maxes out at 100/100. Whenever he fights against them, he gains levels past his base limit.
The fights are also pretty well executed, easy to follow and understand, especially during Alice Subjugation, where I feel it climbs up toward peak. (Chapter 203 is also when he stops trying to disguise his powers.)
As for the plot twists in the novel, it has its fair share of them. Although, it's nothing too crazy, it still gets the j*b done of keeping the readers on edge, and entertained enough to continue reading.
Now here's the things I dislike about the novel.
Its really generic. The author definetely tried filling it with every single cliche out there... The romance feels forced at first, and the book starts off rough in general, it eventually finds its own flow, though.
Almost every character, is female, what more do you expect from a harem, though. The only male characters that are properly fleshed out are the mc, and Tristan in later chapters. Not even the original 'mc' was fully fleshed out, and was for the most part, one dimensional.
One thing that i'm glad about, is that the Harem, which is one of the most important things to get right in a novel like this, is well written. It's done nice enough, with no character not getting enough time to build up their relationship, it isn't a pokémon harem either.
In conclusion, the book is good, i'd reccomend giving it a try if you can tolerate a book being somewhat generic.
i wouldnt really say its bad but its written in the style of anime (fight scenes, character appearences) which ultimately ended up being a big turn-off for me
tbh even if it was made into an anime it would at best be a 5/10 trash isekai magic academy anime (which there is always like 10 of them every year) it doesnt really offer anything new or interesting
This novel is amazingly fun to read. Fight scenes are very well done and hyped. The story is nothing amazing but develops excellently. The side characters' point of views are fun to read and aren't neglected. Very cool references from classic fairy tales. Overall just a very fun novel to read.
I'm not marking spoilers cause I don't talk about anything specific beyond the story beats past ch2. If someone thinks this borders too much on spoiler territory, let me know and I'll try to edit it or mark it as containing spoilers
The premise is pretty average, the standard transmigration power fantasy. This is immediately subverted by the mc immediately abandoning the rely on the original mc trope when he realizes that he just ain't built for it.
The harem members are all good characters and have chemistry. Their aid in the first half of the book shows how powerful they are and gives them independence, a thing most harem novels lack. Sadly their importance to the story's battles end around 70% of the way into the novel.
This final act of the novel lacks a lot of tension and sidelines a lot of characters. The author introduces more characters from other academy's hyping them up just so they can be sidelined. The author also kinda squanders the mc's final power growth.
Overall, a good lighthearted read with a slightly messy ending. I would give it a 8.7/10 for web novel writing and a 7.8 for overall story telling.
Good novel. The harem is well-written, and the plot is handled nicely. All the characters are solid and enjoyable. I was a bit bored at the beginning, but it gets interesting enough as it goes on. Definitely worth reading. 9/10
This is an a*s novel just like those other Korean Manhwa with typical plot. The MC goes to school, gets poor talent, everyone maked fun of him, hides his power, only the multiple female leads notice his powers, they fall for him, a strong boss fight comes, everyone loses, MC comes to save everyone, Defeats the Boss alone, Eveyone gets shocked, he gets famous blah blah blah
Review after chapter 90:
I am tempted to rate it 4 but honestly that's a bit overkill for my taste - So I'll explain why I'm rating it lower than most readers clearly .
The novel is very well written and that's the only reason I can think of for it's high rating . The most significant problem I have is almost every character is one dimensional . Absolutely none of the male characters is of any significant in this story (there is barely any mentioned tbh) . Every arc can be summarised into : Mc knows there will be a demon > Op mc swipes in to kill a demon in front of a girl > The girl starts to either like him or fear him . The plot is too weak to keep me hooked. It's absolutely generic cliche harem novel that's weirdly very well written . It's not my cup of tea but you might like it. So, try 2/3 arc to get a feel I guess .
7/10
The romance the horrible, literally the guy places himself in a corner of the academy to train and somehow he unintentionally and magically attracts the most beautiful girls in the academy, the development of his relationships is almost as horrible as their beginning except for Dorothy, the other female protagonists are yanderes that the MC has no idea how to handle, in addition to the latest of his wives who is useless and has 0 development, not to mention that it wasn't until almost the end of the novel that he continued referring to them in his head as "characters", the same reason why he tolerated some of the stupid things that some of the female protagonists did at the beginning and middle of the story, because they were his "favorite characters".At least the battles are very good.
This novel is one of the best in this genre. Every female character is well written and you will definitely route for them. Alice subjugation arc is one of the best arcs I have seen. Alice wonderland and Dorothy heartnova best girls!. Princess white is cutie !
