Jason had done a lot of things in the span of eight months.

He went on to master the 30 Blade Movements adding it to his talents and then synchronizing it with Blade Strike to create the 30 Blade Movements.

And he also mastered Z-Charge, after forcing Asahi to master it before copying it from the boy.

Air Bullets was a skill he had copied from a rank 1 settlement mayor.

Blink, that was the name the system had given the technique he had learned from Kira.

He had tried to synchronize Blink and Z-Charge a few months ago because they had compatibility of 45%, but after it had failed two times he had given up.

For a failed synchronization the cost was 50 P.

That had made him realize that synchronization was a gamble, he didn’t like gambles so he had to make sure that he only tried it if the rate was at least 60%.

’They’re here.’

Jason thought as a young man with blue hair and striking blue eyes came into view, next to him was a boy with scarlet red eyes and blue hair and a girl with long hair who shared the same hair and eye color with him.

The monsters that rushed through the tunnel seemed not to notice them, they only paid attention to two people;

That was he and Asahi.

Kira, his brother and Lyra were practically invisible to the Orc monsters that rushed past them.

*Bang

*Bang

He shot two through the head.

Holes were bored through their heads, ending their existence permanently.

Jason darted to the left, narrowly evading an axe aimed to slice him into half.

He curled his fist into a ball, slamming his fist against the head of the monster. He didn’t waste anytime, he quickly moved his left leg along the ground and punched the other one in the gut.

His movements were fluid, honed from countless days of fighting for his life.

In a blur, his fist came in contact with all the surrounding orcs.

For a moment, there was nothing and all the orcs turned to him in confusion.

Then, they erupted.

*Bang

*Bang

To Jason at least, Delayed fist was quite useful. It helped with the bloodbath.

The ground of the cave was littered with arteries, intestines and several other burst and bloodied organs.

The scarlet red blood of the Orcs splashed onto his skin, staining the black clothes he wore.

’There goes my last pair of clothes.’

He thought, letting out a sigh.

He had brought many clothes when coming into the A-Dungeon, unfortunately they were either torn, burnt or unusable after his adventures.

Now his last pair of clothing would become unusable unless he learned how to wash clothing.

"You’re waiting here?"

Jason questioned.

It was certainly strange to see them waiting for him, the map had instructed him on the way to get to the next settlement.

At the very least they should have settled in before he arrived.

"There is a complication up there."

Lyra’s voice was montone as she spoke.

Jason raised an eyebrow in interest at Lyra’s word.

"Up there?"

Jason asked, his confusion showing on his face.

Over the span of months their relationship with each other had grown better, though it couldn’t be called up to the level of friends. Acquaintances at most. But she still gave him frights sometimes.

"She means there’s a complication."

Kira interjected.

"There are five tunnels up ahead, they’re no monsters in them but they seem to last forever. The one we took got brighter until we couldn’t see anymore, but when we turned back we were back at the beginning."

He explained.

It only took Jason a second.

’Isn’t that...’

He thought, he could recall the memory perfectly, as well as all the events of that day.

’It’s like that rank 4 dungeon we entered for the trial.’

He was quite surprised because he believed that it would only happen once.

Unexpectedly, the situation had decided to repeat himself.

"Then, you’re suggesting that we should split up?"

Jason could already see where this was going.

If anything, he would have thought of the same thing himself if he was Kira.

"Yes. We could split up into four so we could be faster."

He answered Jason’s question quickly.

’So both of them are going together.’

"So you were waiting for both of us?"

Asahi questioned.

Kira only hummed in response.

"Then let’s go."

There were five tunnels, each one of them looking exactly the same as the next one. Each one of them was earthern.

"Maybe this one wasn’t actually dug out by the Orcs."

Jason mused to himself.

"Take-"

Sean was about to begin but he was cut off by Jason.

"Don’t worry, I know where I’m going."

With those words he entered one of the tunnels, specifically the last one on the right.

’If its the same as the last one, that should mean that the right path should be the last path.’

He mused as he entered it.

Surprisingly, the lighting outside the tunnel and inside were two different things entirely.

There were no torches in the cave, instead the familiar mana stones that were imprinted on the wall greeted him as he entered.

’It’s the same.’

He thought.

’Maybe the orcs didn’t really dig this place out of the ground.’

He had assumed that the orcs had dug out this place after seeing this place from above, but where would they see mana stones if they had really dug it out.

If this place was really dug out, there would be no way to get mana stones.

If it was really dug out, why would the orcs bother making torches and not just put the mana stones everywhere for illumination.

’This kind of places aren’t natural.’

They could only be found in dungeons.

And dungeon breaks were quite rampant in this time.

Jason instinctively stopped walking and focused on something.

Carvings on the wall, they were exactly that. These were carvings that could obviously only be written by a monster.

An orc.

The resident of this cavern.

’I’ve found another one.’

A smirk tugged at his lips and he turned to face it.

The symbols carved were strange and made no sense, it seemed like a mindless creature had bothered to doodle something, or rather, anything onto these walls.

Just strange doodles that made no sense.

[Dungeon – Rank 1

Subjects – Orcs]

The system acted as an auto-translator and translated the words.

’So this is a rank 1 dungeon.’

’And the only monsters inside these are orcs?’

He was surprised to see something like this, on the walls of the dungeon no less. He had deduced that it would be same thing that he had seen on the rank 4 monster.

’Subjects?’

He stroked his chin, though no strand of hair had graced his chin yet.

’That should be the Monster Lord’s monsters.’

’So its the Monster Lord that did all this.’

The only thing he gained from this was meaningless information, information that had no use.

But it was interesting to know this...

And, the system only showed a notification when it had a talent to copy or when it had something of interest.

The fact that it popped up a notification at some strange carvings on the wall meant that they had some value. Otherwise, the system wouldn’t have bothered to translate it.

Jason glanced at the symbols on the walls one more time before walking away, then he dismissed the notification that had popped up on his view.

’Where the hell are my clones?’

He wondered as he walked.

The fact that his clones hadn’t returned to him obviously couldn’t be good, the worst part was that he didn’t know what was going on with them.

Terrible cloning was the only form of cloning, technique-wise, but both the clones and the real body had several differences.

They couldn’t share taste or another another of the senses.

It was only after they left that he would get the memories of the clones.

’I shouldn’t bother too much.’

In the end, he chose to dismiss it and focus on the path ahead.

’The lighting on the wall hasn’t fluctuated, gone down or increased while I was here.

So that should mean that I’m on the right path.’

His experience was definitely coming in handy.

He continued on his way, peacefully.

"Nredf."

An incomprehensible sound resounded from not too far away.

Jason focused in front of him, furrowing his brows and trying to get a better look.

"Another Orc."

Jason murmured to himself as he stared at it.

He could tell that this one was a little different from the other ones he had killed, for starters, it was a little bulkier than the rest, and that was saying something.

It let out another sound as it slowly approached him.

’I don’t need my katana.’

He thought.

His right hand formed a gun and he directly aimed at the Orc’s head.

*Bang

The skill, Air Bullets.

The air bullet Jason shot out made contact with the Orc’s head.

It let out a low sound of pain as it stumbled backwards.

’It isn’t dead.’

His eyes widened a little.

Scarlet red blood oozed out of its head.

’It must have tough skin.’

He thought, closing his eyes.

Jason was leaving himself open, and a beast such as an orc would surely take notice of that.

It let out a war cry, ignoring the pain and charged forward.

As soon as it reached striking distance, it swung its axe down.

Suddenly, Jason’s eyes opened.

He sidestepped, dodging the axe by a hair’s breadth.

’I’m not losing my eyes again, or any other body part.’

Jason aimed at its head.

*Bang
