Chapter 78: Unsolvable??

’I did this.’ he thought, his eyes flickering away, unable to hold Gina’s gaze.

He turned away from her, the weight of everything slowly sinking into his chest like a cold stone. His legs moved on their own as he sat down heavily on the bed, right beside her—beside both Gina and the girl.

Gina’s eyes didn’t leave him.

She shifted slightly, her movement almost too casual.

Then, without warning, she wrapped one arm around his chest, her warm body pressing into him. Her breasts softly squished against his side, the light friction of her skin sending an unexpected shiver down his spine.

She didn’t say much—just leaned in closer and whispered, "Come on... everything is going to be okay."

Her voice was soft, comforting, but the feel of her body clinging to his left him rattled.

’This really isn’t bad.’ she added with a smile, her lips close to his ear, her fingers brushing against his stomach.

Mikey’s mind spun.

’Shit... what am I even supposed to do now?’

’I’m like Mike... and I still have my head somehow. But now what?’

His eyes darted to Gina’s hand curled around his chest. Her body heat seeped through his shirt, and the rise and fall of her chest against him was impossible to ignore.

’Do I just kick her out?’ he thought, his jaw tightening.

’No... I can’t do that. I’m literally the only one she knows in this world. If I screw this up, it all comes back to me.’

His gaze dropped to the floor. His foot tapped once, then stopped.

’How the hell do I even explain this? An elf queen in my dorm room? What am I supposed to say—that she’s just a character who shouldn’t even exist here?’

’No, no, that would only cause panic. That wouldn’t be smart.’

Then it hit him. The thought hit like a beam of light in the fog.

’Wait...’

’I haven’t used Future Sight yet.’

Yes. That was right. He still had that option.

’If I use Future Sight... I might be able to reach my future self. He’ll know what happened—he’ll have already dealt with all this. With Gina. Maybe he figured something out. Maybe there’s a way to send her back to her world.’

A slight smile cracked on Mikey’s lips, the first one since waking up to this madness.

’At least that’s something. A starting point. If I’m lucky, I can get her back where she belongs without ruining my life in the process.’

He let out a soft breath, something between a sigh and a chuckle.

’Okayy...’ he muttered under his breath.

He leaned forward slightly, elbows on his knees, head hanging low.

’Okay. Everything hasn’t gone to shit completely. I can still fix this. I can still get home.’

’I can still... find a way to solve this mess.’

But even with that realization, he knew what came next would be just as difficult.

He couldn’t let anyone find out about her. No one.

His eyes lifted slowly, resting once again on Gina.

’Until then... all I can do is keep her in this room. Keep her safe. And don’t fuck this up.’

His throat went dry.

’Goddamn it... I have a wet milf queen in my room.’

His gaze dipped, trailing across her soaked figure, her clothes clinging to her curves in all the worst and best ways.

’The best I can do is... not lose my damn mind. But damn—she’s here. In my room. The hell am I supposed to do? Just act normal? This is hell.’

He sighed again.

’At least I have company.’ he thought, lips twitching faintly.

’A queen. A milf. A literal fantasy milf sitting inches from me. Wet and... oh boy.’

But then, the practical problem struck.

’What about food? What about telling her the truth?’

Mikey cleared his throat, finally looking back at her.

Gina tilted her head slightly, her confusion still evident on her face.

"Yes?" she asked softly, her voice still carrying that royal, graceful tone.

The room was quiet. Too quiet.

He tried to gather himself. He needed to be calm. Smart. Precise.

’I have to say the right thing.’ he thought.

’If I mess this up, she might panic.’

’I’ll tell her she’s in another kingdom. That’ll be easier to swallow than... telling her she’s supposed to be a fictional character in a novel. Yeah. That would break her.’

Mikey took a deep breath and spoke slowly, carefully.

"So... we’re in another kingdom now."

Gina blinked. Her eyebrows furrowed.

"Another kingdom?" she echoed.

"When did we leave Trostfall?"

Mikey’s mind froze.

"Trostfall?" he repeated mentally.

’Oh... that must be the name of her kingdom.’

He quickly nodded, forcing a small smile.

"Yeah... uh, it was kind of a long night." he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"You were so tired after we... uh... after we slept together. I didn’t want to wake you."

Her eyes narrowed, suspicion forming behind them.

She tilted her head slightly and asked,

"Why did you take me here?"

"Um... well... I..." Mikey stammered, his eyes scanning the room like it held an escape route.

He swallowed hard.

Her eyes stayed on him—sharp, watchful.

"You can stop bullshitting me..." she said bluntly, crossing her arms. Her breasts shifted slightly, and Mikey’s gaze, despite his panic, flicked there for half a second.

"I can accept whatever reason you give me for why we’re here." she added.

Mikey closed his eyes and exhaled deeply.

’God... I really don’t know what to say.’

He looked back at her, lifting his head slowly, eyes locking with hers.

’Screw it. I’ll tell her. I just need to be ready for whatever she does next.’

He stretched out his hand and gently took both of hers—not out of romance, but to stop her from freaking out and wrecking the room if it came to that.

He stared into her eyes.

"Okay." he said quietly, "the truth is..."

He paused, lips trembling slightly.

"...we’re not exactly in your world anymore."
