Chapter 102: Planning a heist?

After the hug, Leon picked her up in his arms once again. She wrapped her arms around him like before.

Leon calmly reminded her,

"Seraphine, we need to explore and at least try to find a source of water. It’s very important for the people."

She nodded her head. She was about to tell him, but he had already asked before she even said anything.

"Hang on tight."

In the next instant, with a resounding boom, his figure flashed, along with Seraphine, who was covered in three different Auras.

Ten minutes had passed, and he was still going. Even when travelling so far, there was nothing but endless green—he hadn’t even spotted a single tree or any source of water in sight. He had traveled well over 1,000 kilometers, which made him realize how strange this dimension really was.

He took a break after ten minutes, checking up on Seraphine to make sure she was fine, and seeing she was completely fine, he resumed his exploration.

After another twenty minutes, he stopped again. Far and wide, as far as his eyes could see, there was still nothing but endless green.

He was reaching close to traveling 4,000 kilometers.

During the entire journey, there was no sight of trees, plants, or even a single mushroom—just green grass on the surface. No animals, no birds, no source of water.

And there were no dungeons either. He hadn’t held much hope, but the fact remained: the mana here was so abundant, he had assumed there would be more dungeons than in the lower domain.

He wasn’t asking for much—just a few dungeons every hundred kilometers, having them as part of the environment. They were an integral part of the future of the people who were going to stay here.

But if there weren’t, he would have to find some other way—for water, animals that could be used as food, crops, fruits, vegetables, trees—everything.

There was no source of sunlight here. Normal crops might not grow in this place since they require sunlight. But he wasn’t worried. He had his Cosmic Shop—he would find a way to get all these things that suited this place.

He still had more than two hundred thousand casualty points, which was clearly not enough. He needed techniques for himself and Seraphine, and other treasures that might be useful to them for their growth.

Two hundred thousand felt like pocket change considering what he had to do.

He had seen the large, grandiose palace in the city even from a distance—the royal palace of the Kingdom of Champagne.

Why should he worry about causality when such a treasure trove was already in sight? There were still two days before the festival would start. Training had also kind of become boring, as, other than increasing his elemental control, there was nothing left for him to do.

There was one thing he was trying to achieve, which would make him extremely strong over the course of a year—but it was still not within sight.

And why should he even stop at just their royal palace? Their seven Duke houses, and who knows how many Marquis houses... all of their treasuries were ripe for farming casualty.

Hehehe. They were the strongest kingdom in the lower domain—surely they would have a lot of treasures.

Soon, every single one of them would be his.

The Crown Prince of their kingdom had already offended him by supporting the Duke’s eldest son. So, isn’t it their own fault for being robbed of all their treasures as compensation?

Even if that wasn’t the case, he would’ve still robbed them. He was just shameless, giving his actions a reason, whether it was small or big. It didn’t matter.

He was going to rob them either way.

And he already had the next kingdom in mind for his next target after the Kingdom of Champagne.

He had put Seraphine down now, as he didn’t see any reason to continue—he hadn’t found anything for the whole 4,000 kilometers. But there was one thing he did find that was good—

The space inside this dimension was much, much bigger than he had imagined. That made him feel quite pleased.

Seraphine could see her Leon had a wide grin on his face for a few seconds. She didn’t know what he was thinking, but she wasn’t the least bit worried, as there was nothing in the lower domain that could hurt him.

He could run wild as much as he wanted.

"Seraphine, there’s no point in continuing now. I’ve traveled 4,000 kilometers and there was nothing I could find."

The number still threw her off a bit, as the distance was too much to travel in just 30 minutes—but she had accepted it now. Her Leon was just too damn powerful.

Leon didn’t stop talking. He didn’t mention the robbing part just yet.

"So I’ve decided we should..."

"Hmm, excellent. That was also what I was thinking—we should do just that." Seraphine calmly replied after hearing his plane.

"Everything is good, but my disciple—we really need to collect more casualties—"

Leon cut her off and told her what he was going to do, excitement leaking from his tone.

"I’m going to rob the Kingdom of Shampain."

Seraphine, hearing his words, showed a wide smile with a satisfied look on her face.

"That’s good. Should I accompany you too?" she asked, even though she knew the answer. Still, what if he needed her? She couldn’t miss the opportunity to help her Leon.

"No, I’ll handle this on my own. And don’t worry—they’ll never be able to tell who robbed their whole kingdom."

"Hehe... however, during the festival, the answer will be obvious."

"Haha, it’ll be funny to see the look on the king, dukes, and nobles’ faces when they have no proof that I did everything. Their helplessness will be lovely to watch."

Seraphine could see there was much more than what he had just told her, and she could also see it in his eyes.

She lightly hit his chest with a playful punch and said with a smirking smile on her face,

"My lovely disciple, you’re so bad. You’ll make it so that they can’t help but be suspicious of you."

She paused and continued, her voice almost a whisper.

"Which means they’ll attack you. My clever disciple, you’re knowingly making them attack you, trapping them in a web laid by you, so you can slaughter them all."

Leon leaned in, whispering back with a visible grin on his face, his hand gripping her waist, just from the excitement for the day to come.

"Master, you’re saying all this as if I’m some villain. How could you! I haven’t even taken a single life in my life. How could I even think of slaughtering so many people? As if I’m sick in the head—I could never even imagine!"

Seraphine found his innocent acting adorable and gave him a hug with her soft words.

"I believe my lovely disciple could never do such a thing~"

But in her mind, she knew it was definitely going to happen in the future, and he would be the reason behind it all.

Yet she wasn’t worried. Her Leon could now really take on armies.

She had said that before just to remind him of danger, but now, he would be dangerous for the army that faced him, not the other way around.
