Spoiled By the Young Master After Reborn In the 80s
Chapter 993 - 991, Dragon Queen

Chapter 993: 991, Dragon Queen

The path was winding and steep. The farther they ventured, the stronger the smell of blood became.

Lu Hanmo slowed his steps and transmitted his voice, "Someone’s up ahead."

The group nodded, restrained their breaths, softened their steps, and followed Lu Hanmo cautiously forward.

After more than ten minutes, a glimmer of light appeared ahead of them.

They lightened their steps even further, heading toward the source of the glow.

At the end of the path, they were greeted by a massive mountain cave. Unlike the previous pitch-black cave, this one was illuminated by moonlight stones scattered throughout, brightening the entire space as though it were daytime.

"How does it feel being locked in here for over ten thousand years?" A man in a black robe stood at the center of the hall, sneering at the silver-haired woman before him, who was shackled in chains and covered in scars.

The silver-haired woman lifted her head, her icy gaze full of hatred as she stared at the black-robed man. "Don’t be too smug. My clan will destroy you one day."

The black-robed man burst into laughter. "Your clan was reduced to ashes long ago. Once your blood drains away, you can reunite with them. Relish this time; I’ll come to see you again before you die."

With that, the black-robed man laughed loudly and turned towards one of the passages.

"Ah!" The silver-haired woman threw her head back and let out a desperate wail. Her blood-stained face bore expressions of sorrow, indignation, fury, and hopelessness.

"Master, let me out—she’s my mother!" Xiao Qing’s voice came from within the spatial dimension, trembling with suppressed anguish and excitement.

"That man hasn’t gone far yet. Once he’s farther away, I’ll rescue your mother," Luo Shu reassured Xiao Qing, understanding his feelings. But they could not act hastily now; if the black-robed man found them, none would escape unscathed.

"Your Highness, listen to the master. We are not his match yet," Long Jing said, placing a hand on Xiao Qing’s shoulder. If the Dragon Queen was still alive, then perhaps the Dragon Emperor also survived?

"She looks so pitiful. Let’s go save her." After sensing the black-robed man had moved far away, Ye Lifeng spoke up.

Luo Shu nodded and cast out a set of formation flags, then stepped forward. The mountain cave still held other formations; these formations not only shielded it from external divine sense but also isolated the Dragon Queen’s aura from escaping. Unless someone from the Dragon Clan came here, no one would ever know that the crimson liquid was actually the Dragon Queen’s blood.

Sensing the changes in the formations, the Dragon Queen ceased her howling. Upon seeing Luo Shu’s group entering the hall, a trace of astonishment flashed in her eyes. "Who are you?" During these ten thousand years, aside from the person who locked her here, no one else had ever come to this cave.

"You’ll know soon enough. Let me free you first," Luo Shu said as she stepped forward.

"Why should I trust you?" The Dragon Queen shot a cold glare at Luo Shu. How could she possibly free her? With such a weak level of cultivation, could she open this chain?

"Long Jing!" Luo Shu glanced at the massive lock restraining the Dragon Queen. This lock was identical to the one that had once bound Long Jing.

"Who are you? How do you know Long Jing?" the Dragon Queen asked in shock. Long Jing was a Dragon Clan elder who had escaped the Immortal Realm with her son years ago. Thinking of her son made her heart ache as if torn apart. Where was he now? Was he still alive?

Luo Shu did not answer the Dragon Queen’s question. She summoned the Flame Snake and directed it at the lock binding the Dragon Queen. As her cultivation grew, the Flame Snake’s level continuously improved as well.

"Crack! Crack!" The lock snapped as the Flame Snake burned through it.

The Dragon Queen’s hands were immediately freed. She stared at Luo Shu in disbelief. "Who are you, really?" An immortal at the late stage—how could she possess such an extraordinary flame?

Luo Shu raised her wrist, revealing a Little Green Snake coiled around her arm.

The Dragon Queen’s eyes widened instantly. Tears slipped down her cheeks as she reached out, trembling, to take Xiao Qing from Luo Shu’s hands and held him tightly in her embrace, sobbing loudly. At this moment, her tears carried joy, relief, excitement... Her son was alive! This was wonderful! Truly wonderful!

The three Ye brothers watched the Dragon Queen in surprise, unable to understand why she was crying so bitterly while holding a snake.

"What happened to her?" Ye Lifeng couldn’t help but ask.

"My beast pet happens to be her son," Luo Shu explained. Compared to Yun Han and Xiao Yao, Luo Shu had spent less time with the Ye brothers, so she didn’t elaborate much.

"What? So she’s also a snake?" Ye Lifeng scrutinized the Dragon Queen, shaking his head in disbelief. It wasn’t uncommon for him to see immortal beasts take on human forms, but in the Immortal Realm, snake-type beings were rare; those from the flood-dragon kind were more common.

"Yes!" Luo Shu nodded before glancing at the Dragon Queen. "This place isn’t safe. We should leave quickly."

"Alright!" The Dragon Queen agreed. In a flash, her figure transformed into a slender white snake, no thicker than a finger, and coiled herself alongside Xiao Qing around Luo Shu’s wrist.

Luo Shu lowered her sleeve, simultaneously storing the mother and child within her spatial dimension. Encountering the Dragon Queen this time was an unexpected boon.

Exiting the cave, Lu Hanmo carefully erased all traces of their presence before heading for their Immortal Ship.

Shortly after returning to the Immortal Ship, it resumed its journey into the Endless Void.

Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo returned to their room, immediately entering the spatial dimension. There, the Dragon Queen was already cheerfully playing with their babies.

When she noticed Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo enter, the Dragon Queen approached with the two babies in her arms. Gratefully, she bowed deeply to Luo Shu. "Thank you!" Her son had already told her everything—how Luo Shu had released him from the seal, rescued Long Jing, found Lih Xiao, and used her spatial dimension to hide the Dragon Clan members from detection. Luo Shu had sacrificed her peaceful life and ascended to the Immortal Realm specifically to aid the Dragon Clan. For everything Luo Shu had done, the Dragon Queen was deeply, deeply grateful.

Luo Shu quickly stepped back and said, "Dragon Queen, there’s no need. Xiao Qing has helped me a great deal. Without him, I might not exist in this world anymore." In the early days of her true cultivation journey, it was Xiao Qing who saved her from the two cultivators from the Eight Desolations Hall. Helping Xiao Qing now felt natural because, in her heart, he was already like family.

"From now on, you will be a Dragon Clan elder. Within the Dragon Clan, your words carry absolute authority," the Dragon Queen declared. As long as the Dragon Clan existed, they would safeguard Luo Shu and ensure neither she nor her loved ones were harmed.
