"You’re really planning to buy that house?" Aunt Chen said in surprise. Did Luo Shu really have that much money? It wasn’t a small sum!

"Yes!" Luo Shu nodded. She always needed to have a home.

"Luo Shu, wait a moment!" Aunt Chen said and turned to enter the house.

She came back shortly, handing a handkerchief to Luo Shu, "Luo Shu, this is some money your uncle and I have saved up, you take it and use it for now."

Seeing the money in Aunt Chen’s hands, Luo Shu was filled with gratitude, "Auntie, thank you! I accept your kindness, but I really do have money."

"You child, why be so formal with your auntie? Take it! Take it!" Aunt Chen insisted, pushing the money into Luo Shu’s hands.

When Luo Shu arrived at the house in Black Clothes Alley, the old man was playing chess by himself in the yard.

"It’s because the senior went easy on me!" Luo Shu said, thanking the old man with a bow. Their skills were evenly matched, and most of the games had ended in draws. She had only narrowly won the last game by employing a bit of cunning.

The old man waved his hand with a smile and stood up, "Let’s go, let’s go to the Public Security Office to get the paperwork done." He could leave with peace of mind now that the house was going to this girl.
