"Let’s pay," Lu Hanmo told the attendant, entering the fitting room to fetch Luo Shu’s coat that she had taken off, and they headed towards the cashier.

"Can’t you guys compromise a little? My mom is letting you pick any dress you want, and we’ll pay for it. What more do you want?" the young woman said angrily. She really liked that dress and wouldn’t insist on it if that weren’t the case.

Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo simply ignored them; Lu Hanmo took out his wallet and paid the attendant.

"Forget it, let’s look somewhere else," the young woman’s mother said upon seeing that the dress had been bought and there was no sign they would relent.

"But I really like that dress," the young woman still wouldn’t give up hope.

She thoroughly sized up Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo, her eyes brightening as she stepped forward to address Lu Hanmo. "You are a Guard Member, aren’t you? Do you know Bai Tinggu? The young woman’s mother nodded her head and turned to the young woman, "Luoluo, let’s check other boutiques first for the same style. If we don’t find it, then we can head to Xiyue Shopping Mall."

The young woman smiled and nodded, then stepped forward to link arms with her mother. "Mom, we haven’t visited Uncle for a long time. Let’s go see him tomorrow." She was certain that the man just now was a Guard Member, though she didn’t know if he belonged to her uncle’s Guard District. Nevertheless, she would find out when she visited her uncle tomorrow.

Lu Hanmo, with bags in tow, returned to the Guard’s Members Courtyard with Luo Shu.

Following behind them, also laden with shopping bags, was Jin Zhihong. He now served as Lu Hanmo’s Orderly, responsible for driving and escorting Lu Hanmo wherever he went.

"I’m not tired, I’ll help you put them away," Luo Shu said, opening the bags on the table. They had bought some common kitchen utensils today.

"Then you can supervise, and I’ll arrange everything," Lu Hanmo said with a smile. He wouldn’t let her do any work.

"Okay!" Luo Shu smiled sweetly at Lu Hanmo. She was happy to accept his pampering and enjoyed the feeling of being cherished by him.
