Chapter 745: Seven hundred and forty-three, Aichi Sea
Luo Shu smiled and nodded, "Thank you for the suggestion, Your Majesty. We will definitely visit."
She was not unfamiliar with the Aichi Sea, which, like its name, was full of romance.
For travelers from all over the world, it symbolized a romantic journey.
Thus, many couples flocked to the Aichi Sea, confessing their love by its shores in the hope that their love would last as long as the sea itself.
As the three were talking, a young man walked in, executing an elegant bow toward Hillpry, "Father!"
He was Prince Philip, who had come out of curiosity after hearing that his father was hosting a healer from Yan Country. Like everyone else, he longed to walk under the sun, to look up at the brilliant light and bask in its rays.
"This is my eldest son, Prince Philip. Philip, they are friends from Yan Country," Hillpry introduced.
"Greetings, Prince Philip!" Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo stood up, smiling and greeting Philip.
"I am honored to meet you both! I heard about the divine healer from Yan Country visiting the palace and was intrigued to see for myself, I hope my intrusion hasn’t caused any discomfort," Philip said with an elegant smile. His eyes were obscured by sunglasses, so their expression was unclear, but his facial features bore a strong resemblance to his father Hillpry.
"Of course not!" Luo Shu responded with a smile.
"So you must be the divine healer from Yan Country. I’m very glad to meet you," Philip said, extending his hand to Luo Shu. He had heard the healer was a pregnant woman, so he had no doubt that it referred to the woman before him. Yet, he did not expect her to be so much younger than he had imagined.
Luo Shu reached out and shook hands with Philip, "I’m just as pleased, but I am by no means a divine healer."
Philip laughed heartily, "I’ve heard that the medicine of Yan Country is profound and extensive. I’d very much like to witness it if given the chance."
"There will be a chance in the future," Luo Shu assured with a smile.
Immediately, a servant brought over a chair and served the meal. With the addition of Philip, the atmosphere grew livelier.
"I’ve read that Yan Country, like our Langxi Country, is an ancient civilization. I’ve always been curious and yearning to visit. If there’s an opportunity in the future, I wonder if I might invite both of you to travel together," Philip said, gently swirling the red wine in his glass before taking a sip.
"Absolutely," Luo Shu agreed.
"How long will you be staying in Langxi Country? I may not be able to join you during the day, but I’m available at night. The nightlife in Langxi Country is also quite spectacular," Philip mentioned. His preference for nightlife stemmed from his eye condition.
"About a week, I suppose. If we decide to explore Langxi Country at night, we will certainly look for Prince Philip," Luo Shu put down her utensils and wiped her mouth with a napkin.
"I would consider it a great honor!" Philip smiled in response.
After chatting with Hillpry and his son for a while, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo stood up to take their leave.
During their conversation, all four of them tactfully avoided discussing anything political.
After seeing Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo off, Hillpry handed a document to Philip, "Mars, give this to Philip. It’s drafted by the Yan Country Guard Squad. Take a look."
"Yes, Father!" Philip nodded, taking the document and beginning to read.
About ten minutes later, he closed the document and looked at Hillpry, "Father, I think the terms proposed in the document are very tempting. We should agree to Yan Country’s proposal for an alliance. Of course, it’s not just for curing my eyes," although he too wished his eyes could be healed.
After a slight pause, Philip continued, "Ever since I learned about the arrival of a divine healer from Yan Country, I started to gather all sorts of information about it. I think Yan Country is a nation with great potential. Forming an alliance with them might yield unexpected results."
Hillpry’s lips curved into a smile, "I share your thoughts, but we still have to hold a meeting to hear the ministers’ opinions." Langxi Country was a democratic nation, and even as King, he couldn’t make unilateral decisions.
Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo weren’t in a hurry to learn about Langxi Country’s attitude and decisions; since they had come all the way here, they intended to thoroughly enjoy their visit.
From the romantic Aichi Sea to Mycenae Citadel, then to Crete Island and Cyclades Islands, it was only upon receiving another invitation from the Royal Family that they reluctantly concluded their tour of Langxi Country.
Upon their return to the Langxi Country palace, aside from Hillpry and his son, many ministers were there to greet Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo. After deciding in a meeting, they had immediately contacted the officials of Yan Country and settled the terms.
The reason for inviting Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo this time was because of their Prince Philip. They had come to witness whether the healer from Yan Country was indeed as miraculous as the rumors suggested.
"It is an honor to see you both again," Philip said with a smile as he approached and shook their hands.
"Seeing Prince Philip once again is also a great honor for us," Luo Shu responded with a handshake and a smile. She already knew about the alliance between Langxi Country and Yan Country, and she was very satisfied with how quickly the Royal Family had made their decision.
Once Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo were escorted into the great hall, everyone looked eagerly at Luo Shu.
"My dear friends from Yan Country, I presume you’ve heard that our nation has formed an alliance with yours?" Seeing Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo nod, Hillpry smiled slightly and continued, "My dear healer from Yan Country, perhaps it’s time you demonstrated your miraculous medical skills for us to appreciate the breadth and depth of Yan medicine."
"I would be delighted," Luo Shu replied with a nod, looking at Prince Philip, "Prince Philip, are you ready?"
"Yes! I am very much looking forward to it," Philip replied eagerly.
"Alright then, please take a seat, and we’ll begin the treatment," Luo Shu announced.
Philip nodded and sat down in a chair that had been prepared earlier.
Luo Shu stepped forward and looked at a servant nearby, "Is the Silver Needle ready?"
"Yes, it has been prepared and sterilized," the servant responded, handing Luo Shu a Silver Needle Box from the table. Their hospitals in Langxi Country didn’t have such silver needles; these needles had been especially purchased from a Herbal Medicine Shop on Yanren Street by order of His Majesty.
