Chapter 643: Six hundred forty-one, Number One Hegemon

Zhang Qi raised her eyebrows triumphantly, glanced at the two people rolling on the ground in pain, and turned to look at Liang Qianjun, "Shall we continue?" Since childhood, she had practiced Tai Chi with her grandfather and learned some kung fu from Luo Shu after going to university. As long as the opponent wasn’t a trained fighter, she could handle two or three of them without a problem.

Liang Qianjun squinted his eyes and looked at his other two henchmen, "Go!"

Upon hearing his words, the other two burly men charged at Zhang Qi.

Zhang Qi stepped back several paces, then surged forward in a burst of speed. She soared into the air and with her feet fiercely kicked out at the two charging men. The men tried to dodge upon seeing Zhang Qi’s intent, but her movements were too fast, they couldn’t evade in time and were sent flying backward by her kick, landing in a sorry heap.

Zhang Qi landed gracefully on the ground like a swallow and beckoned to Liang Qianjun with her finger.

Liang Qianjun was furious and humiliated, but he also knew he was no match for Zhang Qi, "You just wait!"

Seeing Liang Qianjun leave, the four burly men on the ground also struggled to their feet and staggered after him in the direction he had left.

"You’re so cool!" Chen Xiaomeng looked at Zhang Qi with admiration.

"I’m still far behind Luo Shu," Zhang Qi said modestly, waving her hand and picking up the raw stone she had used to hit Liang Qianjun. The raw stone contained jade. Needless to say, she wasn’t about to throw it away.

"Thank you!" The teenager helped the middle-aged man off the ground and bowed gratefully to Zhang Qi.

"It’s nothing," said Zhang Qi with a casual wave of her hand. Her childhood dream had been to become a heroine, but she never had the opportunity to fulfill it. Today, she had finally had a taste of being a heroine.

"That was Liang Qianjun from Teng City, you better leave quickly or it might be dangerous," said the middle-aged man apologetically. It was because of him and his son that they had gotten into trouble with Liang Qianjun.

"I don’t care if he’s the top dog or the second-in-command. If he dares to bother me again, I will beat him into a turtle," Zhang Qi said nonchalantly. She had already stirred up trouble; what was there to fear?

"This raw stone is yours," said the middle-aged man, pointing to the last raw stone that was about half his height on his stall. Liang Qianjun had been after him because he wasn’t able to pay the stall fee. His health had been poor recently, and he wanted to sell the large raw stone to pay for medical expenses, but the stone was so big, nobody would buy it. The young lady had helped him and his son, so the stone was a way of repaying her.

"I don’t want it," Zhang Qi refused, shaking her head. They could offer it, but she couldn’t carry it.

The middle-aged man smiled and said to the teenager beside him, "Let’s go back home." Once he had offered it, he wouldn’t take it back.

"Wait!" Luo Shu called out to the two of them.

The middle-aged man and teenager stopped and looked at Luo Shu in surprise.

Luo Shu stepped forward and took out a pill, offering it to the middle-aged man, "This pill can cure your illness."

The man paused, eyeing the pill in Luo Shu’s hand but not reaching for it, "Do you know what sickness I have?"

"Lung disease," Luo Shu said. She offered the middle-aged man the pill because of the raw stone he had given to Zhang Qi. She had scanned the stone with her Divine Sense earlier and had seen a brilliant shade of green within. Not to mention its future value, even if they cut the stone now, it would be priceless.

"Thank you!" the middle-aged man reached out to receive the pill and, after thanking her, slowly walked away with the support of the teenager.

"How am I supposed to carry this huge stone back home?" Zhang Qi looked at the raw stone in front of her, troubled. It was too precious to leave, but too much of a hassle to take.

"Let’s hire two people to help us move this stone to the car," suggested Li Yuan.

"Good idea," Zhang Qi agreed, nodding. She looked around at the onlookers, "Could anyone here help us move this stone to where we’re staying? I’ll pay."

"How much will you pay?" someone from the crowd asked.

"Two yuan per person," Zhang Qi offered. She didn’t know what to expect from moving the stone; it might just be an ordinary rock after all.

"Where to?"

"Friendship Hostel."

"I’ll do it!"

"Count me in!" Two young men stepped forward from the crowd.

The two men approached the raw stone, lifted it, one on each side, and headed toward the Friendship Hostel. It was only a little over ten minutes from here to the hostel, and two yuan was a fair price.

After directing the two men to place the raw stone in the car’s trunk, Zhang Qi paid them. Once they had walked away, she looked at Luo Shu and others, "Let’s check out and leave. I was just bluffing just now. I’m not afraid for myself, but I have to think of Luo Shu, the pregnant one. If anything happens to her, Lu the War God will have my head."

"Didn’t you say you were going to beat someone into a turtle?" Wang Fei teased with a laugh.

"I was just bluffing. Let’s go check out. If they really come, it will be too late," Zhang Qi said as she sprinted into the Friendship Hostel.

The group exchanged smiles and followed her inside. It was exactly what they intended to do; less trouble is always better.

The group checked out quickly, got in the car, and sped away from Teng City, heading for Cloud City.

Liang Qianjun returned home, patched up his wounds, and immediately summoned twenty-three of his men, setting off majestically toward the Friendship Hostel where Luo Shu and the others had been staying. He had inquired earlier and discovered that the group had been staying at the Friendship Hostel. With so many men this time, he didn’t believe he couldn’t beat a girl.

Arriving at the Friendship Hostel, Liang Qianjun ordered his men to surround the place, then led some inside.

"Young Master Liang!" The hostel employee saw Liang Qianjun and hurriedly greeted him respectfully. As the bully of Teng City, almost no one in the city didn’t know him.

"Were there some girls from out of town staying here?" Liang Qianjun thought about the earlier incident, and his forehead throbbed with pain. He was hit by a rock and intended to make them realize the consequences of offending Liang Qianjun!

"They’ve already left," replied the hostel employee, trembling.

"What?!" Upon hearing this, Liang Qianjun became so enraged he nearly spat blood. No one had ever gotten the better of him and left unharmed. As long as they were still in Southern Sky, he would find them!
